Dividing up the TC: use of the Accounts feature

Does anyone have experience with the Accounts feature of the TC?
Can it effectively be used to divide up the TC into fixed portions such that TM backups are constrained and don't encroach on the space available for other, equally important, stuff on the drive?

First of all when listening to songs on iTunes on your actual computer, only selected songs will play. iTunes will simply skip over or ignore the unchecked songs. I do actually find this rather useful for albums that have a few songs I really like, but that also have songs I don't much care for. I find that deleting these unwanted songs kind of breaks up the album, so I just uncheck them.
That is almost correct. iTunes will play an unchecked song if you double-click it. However, as you note, it will not automatically advance to an unchecked song, and will simply skip it if there are unchecked ones past it in the list.
The second part is where I have problems. Supposedly unchecked songs will NOT be transfered to your devices when you sync.
"Sync only checked songs and videos" is actually a settable option. With your device connected, click its name in the left-hand pane, and look at the Summary tab. You will see the box, and may check or uncheck it as you wish.
That is almost the full story on checkboxes. The one other function they serve is that in a Smart Playlist, you can check the box for "match only checked items." By default it is unchecked for each new Smart Playlist that you start.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions.

Can RH8 be installed by the admin using his own account?

Please excuse this basic yes/no question, I could not find any info about RH8. In older releases it was once recommended to install RoboHelp using the account of the USER who would later use the program (not the admin). For this, admin rights had to be assigned to the user during installation and removed again afterwards.
Is this procedure still required for RH8 or can RoboHelp now be installed by the admin using his own account?

The options are the user account with admin rights attached or the admin account that will have those rights by default.

You don't need iTunes for that. Simply connect the iPhone to the PC where it will be recognized as a camera. You can then select the photos you wish to transfer, transfer them, and delete them.

I noticed that if I open Final Cut Projects created on other/older models MacBook Pro Laptops or MacPro Desktops, the fonts used in the previously created FCP projects, change their font spacing! which distorts the look of the Text that was written, by oevrlapping on other things that were put & present on the screen.. Another similar probelm is that the Vector shaped used for example to highlight certain words or shapes, also change their position on the screen so that they no longer highlight exact things that we once used these vectors to highlight or outline... Anyone knows how to solve this problem please?? I made sure that the same fonts are available in the Library in both old and newer computers...

You might want to take your question to the FCP forum - if you copied all fonts to your Library>Fonts folder and restarted they should be recognized by all applications. I know that this works for Adobe products, anyway.

I would like to know how to get the workcentres used in the routing out of 2 alternate routings.
I referred PLKO got the Task List Type (PLNTY), Group(PLNNR), Group Counter(PLNAL), Plant(werks).
I passed this in to PLPO, The problem in PLPO is we dont have the distinguishing field Group Counter(PLNAL), so I am getting all the ARBID including both alternates.
How to get the ARBID with respect to Groupcounter 1 alone.
If a get the ARBID , I can get the ARBPL from CRHD.

Pass PLNNR & PLNAL in PLAS and get PLNNR & PLNKN.
Then pass these into PLPO.

I've been using the signature feature for a while now and it works great and I'd like to use it on another computer. However, I forgot where I stored the signature. Adobe finds it with no problems (the signature pops up when I click "Place Signature"), but I have no idea where it is.

No. But after the MP3s are created and you are satisfied that things went OK, just delete the WMAs manually and say "Good Riddance."
You can use an MP3 in multiple players, but you need to turn off any features that automatically change or move files, since one player will change something that messes up the other:
In iTunes, that means go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced and uncheck "Keep..." and "Copy..."
In Windows Media Player, that means go to Tools > Options > Library, and uncheck everything that starts with a verb such as "Rename...," "Rearrange...," etc.
