Dividir PDF en paginas sueltas

Hola,
a ver si alguien puede indicarme como dividir automaticamente un pdf de 85 paginas en 85 pdfs independientes.
No he descubierto como hacerlo.. solo manualmente..

Saludos

  • PDF file Pagination Question

I work as a trainer in a law firm.
A paralegal at the firm just got a disc of Ediscovery PDF files from an outside source. She is using Acrobat X Pro.
When looking at a two page document from the disc, the Adobe toolbar gives the page numbers as 18-19 rather than one and two.
She is not seeking to change the pagination because as part of the Ediscovery requirements, she cannot modify the document; she is merely wondering why there is a discrepancy in the pagination.
I suspect, but don't know for sure, that the culprit may be how the originator of the PDF documents created the PDF documents.
    Does anyone know why?
    Thanks so much.

Each page in a PDF can have a label. The label is usually a number. This allows one to have, for example, a document whose pages are labelled i, ii, iii, 1, 2, 3. Most files have no labels, so they just get numbered 1, 2, 3.
The chances are that this document was part of a bigger document, which was labelled. (It must have been labelled, since otherwise the new document would just have been 1,2).

  • Is it possible to convert HTML to PDF without pagination?

I have an HTML file that I'd like to convert to PDF. Ideally, I'd like the PDF to consist of one long page without being broken up into different pages. Is this at all possible?
I also don't want to scale the image down too far as to make it unreadable. I've tried adjusting the page size settings, but the biggest page I can generate is a portrait-oriented tabloid (14 x 17) page, but it still prints to more than one page.
If pagination can't be suppressed, does anyone know of any HTML/CSS code that I can use to break the pages in certain spots? If I'm forced to use a paged PDF, I at least don't want the articles within the page to break in the middle.
I'm using Acrobat Pro XI on a MacBook Pro. Browser-wise, I have Firefox, Chrome and Safari installed, if opening the HTML file in one of them makes any difference.
    Thanks in advance, aj

You can actually create a custom page size BUT you have to go through the Acrobat interface
    File>Create>PDF From Web Page...>
In the Create PDF from Web Page window, put in the URL you want to capture
In the Create PDF from Web Page window, click the Settings button
in the Web Page Conversion Settings window click the Page Layout tab
In the Size sections', Page Size pop-up menu select Custom
In the Width field, set the size of the page width in inches
in the Height field set the page height in inches
In the Margins section, set you margins (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) in the appropriate fields in inches
In the Orientation section set either Portrait or Landscape
in the Scaling section set whether or not you want scale the page content
in the Web Page Conversion Settings window click the OK button
In the Create PDF from Web Page window click the Create button.

  • Word to PDF changes pagination

My Ph.D. dissertation was composed in Word, but I must change it to PDF.  The PDF document does not accurately reproduce the Word document.  It changes the text flow so that the document is one page longer than the original file. I am using Acrobate XI Pro.  Any help would be appreciated!

How are you converting it, exactly?

with adobe export pdf - can i just split a pdf file in different parts keeping them all in pdf format?

    Good day,
Adobe ExportPDF does not have the ability to split/divide PDF files.  To do this, you must use Adobe Acrobat.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

  • Could not find application that created this file error in Acrobat

What is going on? I have an InDesign file that I want to convert by opening Acrobat and then converting to PDF. I am getting the error "Could not find application that created this file. [file name] Please select a file created by an application that resides on your computer."
I most often use this functionality when I have multiple files of different origins and need to combine them into one document. Now I'm reading the forums and some are saying this functionality is no longer supported by Acrobat. Pardon my language, but WTF?!?! This is functionality that is commonly used by me and I can only assume other users. Now you have two Adobe products that won't communicate? If so, then all the hoopla stating how great the Adobe suite is should be edited. I have never seen these products take such a step backward!
Sorry for the rant, but I find this to be ridiculous. What is the workaround, besides converting every document to PDF inside its own software and then combing the PDFs?

InDesign uses a different method of making PDF files when you use the File->Export option in InDesign (even with Acrobat installed, it uses an internal copy of the PDF Library engine). As such, the two applications do not communicate directly with each other.
Support for driving the PDF conversion process from within Acrobat has been removed from Acrobat X, beacuse with the new features in InDesign CS4+, Acrobat doesn't have access to the settings it needs to control things such as multimedia, spreads and transitions. ID CS5 divides PDFs into two concepts - "print" and "interactive", neither of which match the presets used by Distiller. Creating PDFs from InDesign files must therefore take place from within InDesign itself.

  • Delete first page and move the second and the third one to the end of the document

    Hello Guys,
First of all thanks for anyone that dedicated some time reading my post.
I have the following "quest" for almost 1000 pdf files with different pages within.
    a) Delete the first page (I managed with the batch processing)
    b) Move page 2 and 3 after the last page of that document
Already searched already with the "batch processing" however i didn't find any useful option.
In my opinion (please guys correct if i'm wrong), the only way that I can do it, is with  a javascript.
I found one on the web, and modified a little bit and tried however it doesnt work:
// Creazione file temp per copy delle pagine 2 e 3
    var tempDoc = app.newDoc("/C/copytemp.pdf");
    // Copy delle pagine 2 e 3
    tempDoc.insertPages({
              cPath: "/C/PDF Originali/*.pdf",
              nStart: 2,
              nEnd: 3
// Copy le pagine 2 e 3 alla fine del documento:
    this.insertPages({
              nPage: 100,
              cPath: "/C/copytemp.pdf"
    // Cancella pagine 1 a 3
    this.deletePages({nStart: 1, nEnd: 3});
Anyone would be so kind to share any solution external or non from to help me out with that quest? I would really appreciate it!
    Thanks !

Gilad, thanks for the fast response, actually i don't know if i'm doing something wrong.
Let me explain you my steps.
    1) Batch Processing
    2) New Sequence - Execute Javascript
    3) Past your script
    4) Run Command on: Ask when sequence....
    5) Select output location: Ask when sequence....
But nothing happens. Would u be so kind to help with that?
    Thanks again!

  • Why is better Preview than Acrobat for reading

When you install Acrobat Pro appears a window asking if you want to use it as default reader... SELECT NO!!!! and use Preview.
    This is the reason:
Buggy Acrobat Pro (any version) can't handle large pages of PDFs and instead of Preview for Mac OS X that do it excellent because is better.
    Try this:
    1) Go to http://www.tastyapps.com/ and download Web Snapper and install it in Safari. This application capture any webpage.
    2) Go to http://regexlib.com/Search.aspx and select RESULTS PER PAGE 100 to get a large webpage result.
    3) Press the SEARCH button.
    4) Now you have a large webpage of 100 items of results.
    5) Capture this webpage with Web Snapper and create a PDF without pagination.
    6) Open it in Preview for Mac OS X and you will see the PDFs Page PERFECT!!!
    7) Open the same PDF page in Acrobat Pro... and you will see a BLANK PAGE!!!!
I capture a lot of PDFs and create one ebook using Acrobat Pro... but all with BLANK PAGES!!!
    Cheers
    Tom

Here may be part of the problem perhaps: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4664
The GMA X3100 found in 2008 MacBook models appears to be incompatible with the software, along with many other models of graphics card. Meaning a large percentage of users aren't technically meant to upgrade anymore, even though Lion will be okay on their systems.
It's bizarre to think I can import and export footage that will remain it's original colour/gamma, but during editing in the preview window [not even in the timeline or event browser thumbnails] it goes virtually grayscale. Every other part of FCPX works perfectly fine, no slowdown or anything.
Pretty disappointing if there is no workaround to this eventually!

  • Can we define users for both studio and integrator server

Can someone please let me know how can we define users for both studio and integrator server so that the user can be used to view UI page but not modify it.I want to define user in studio which will access the Page but not modify it. And the user in integrator server should be able to view scheduled jobs.
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards,

    Amrit,
Both Studio and Integrator Server support LDAP. See http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35976_01/studio.240/eid_studio_users/toc.htm#Integrating%20with%20an%20LDAP%20System%20to%20Manage%20Users for details about implementing LDAP in Studio. For Integrator Server, see "LDAP Authentication", p. 38 (document pagination; p. 44 pdf file pagination) in the Integrator Server Guide (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35976_01/integrator.240/DataIntegratorServer.pdf).

  • Print Booklet, can't select page size.

    Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to print an a4 page size booklet using the print booklet feature.
As I wan't to print full bleed, I am printing oversized a3.
It all looks fine in the preview, but when I open in distiller and export as a pdf the spreads are broken into pages.
Pretty much I would like the pdf as paginated spreads, instead of pages.
    Pages are not in spreads
what it should look like (as a paginated spread)

    My screen is from CS5.5,
In the Print Booklet dialog there is a Print Settings button wherein you would define the paper and orientation.

  • I need to divide a large 111MB PDF

I need to divide a large 111MB PDF into several smaller more manageable pieces. I have CS5 but it won't open it. I just bought PDF Extractor so I could convert it to a Microsoft Word File and edit from there. Message says, file too big, over 100MB. How can I do this?

You need Acrobat if you want to split the file.

  • Using Acrobat X and creating a PDF File from EXCEL 2010, I notice that the Pagination restarts at 1 for each Worksheet included in the PDF.

I use Acrobat X Standard and created a PDF file from two or more worksheets using EXCEL 2010.
The resulting PDF file restarts the PAGE # (In header/footer settings of Excel) at 1 for each worksheet.
However, a colleague of mine who has Acrobat X Pro version, using EXCEL 2010 and same exact file does the same task, he gets a file that starts at page 1 and second worksheet continues the page # from the last page of the First worksheet.
We both are using the ACROBAT menu (not the print to Adobe printer) to create the file so that we can get Bookmarks included in the resulting file for each worksheet.
We cannot figure out any option in Acrobat's preferences that controls the pagination on either of these versions of Acrobat.
So is this just a feature that works one way in Standard version and another way in the Pro version, and the user has no control over it?

This is so sad. I read your comments and I said, "Huh?" Haha!
I tried the indexed color option and it did make the final file smaller. Around 600KB. But there's probably another way to make it even smaller like the gazillion-paged pdf file that I mentioned that was only about 300KB.
And by saying a layout program, does that mean like Adobe InDesign? Does that mean that I should just make my graphics in Photoshop and then import using another program and finish the file there?
What other layout programs can I use?
    Thank you so much!

  • Pagination changes when creating PDF from FM file

Using Structured FM 7.2p158, Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.3. I have updated a chapter with a graphic and want to send a specific page to a colleague. Tried to print the individual page to a file, then distill that print file to a PDF file; Distiller flushed it, whether I used the Acrobat PDF printer or my regular printer.
Next tried printing the entire chapter, which works, but the PDF pagination is changed from the original FM file. Tried setting to "Standard" and "High Quality Print" but still get the same result.
    Any suggestions, please?
    Thanks,
    Cheryl

    Cheryl Dwyer wrote:

    Cheryl,
You should only be using the AdobePDF printer instance when working on FM files. If you changed to a different printer and created output using that to send to Distiller, then there can be a number of issues, especially if you've somehow used the printer fonts (you may have substituion enabled in the printer driver giving you different metrics). The SetPrint utility from Sundorne <http://www.sundorne.com/FrameMaker/Freeware/setPrint.htm> will ensure that your default printer in FM is always the AdobePDF. Note: you can still manually switch in FM if you need to directly output hardcopy to your system printer.
If Distiller "flushed" your output, then there should have been a log file generated that specifies what the error was. This might help provide some solution to your original problem.
The joboptions settings in Distiller wouldn't be creating the reflows that you're seeing. It's probably one of the fonts, printer instance, graphic size (dimension/scale) that caused your problem.
