DLO HomeDock Deluxe + iPod Video 60 GB: after Update to 1.2 no audio signal

Please help!
I just received in these days my DLO HomeDock Deluxe and was very happy with it. Before I have had the Apple A/V-Kit and was disappointed to see no menu on the TV screen.
So the HomeDock works fine and I have been very happy with it, but only for some days.
I have installed the new iTunes 7.0 and with this comes an update for the iPod Video to system version 1.2 - and afterwards the sound output doesn´t work anymore !!!!
I have tried everything. Reset on iPod, reset on HomeDock. Various settings - NOTHING!!!
The video output works very fine, I have the menu, everything OK, but NO MUSIC.
I asked the support of DLO but no answer to my email...
Please help, no music in here :-(((

Hi, I have the Logic3 Universal Dock, using S-Video and stereo line out for Photos and Videos with sound to my TV, which works well.
BUT NO MUSIC when I want to play just music through the TV! Is this a software issue? You say you used to be able to hear music through your TV. Apple please help here! Thanks.

DLO Homedock Deluxe + Album Art on TV w/Classic...

Has anyone here with the latest model of the DLO Homedock Deluxe been able to get album art displayed on their TV with it while using an iPod Classic? I understand that between firmware updates from Apple and DLO, the video-out issue has been resolved, but I haven't seen any posts online from anyone who has successfully displayed album art on their TV that way. However, there have been posts from people who have been able to get all the video features except album art to work. I'm assuming that if it can work, the people who've made it happen aren't posting because, well, it works for them. I'm really eager, nay, desperate for a device that'll let me navigate my music collection on my TV via menus and display album art, so I'd be thrilled if this can be made to work. Thanks in advance for your help...

DLO HomeDock Deluxe vs. Griffin TuneCenter

Since the iPod AV Connection Kit does not allow the user to display the menu on a television and flip through the menu via the remote, does anyone have a recommendation regarding one of the 3rd party products that will do such? DLO HomeDock Deluxe?? Griffin TuneCenter??

Unfortunately from my personal testing there’s no way to do this since only apple’s connectors work with the new classic. As a matter of fact, the 160 classic defaults to video off when not connected to the universal dock or new cable (the new cable is listed on the apple store to be 2 or 3 weeks away. Oh the joys of early adoption….

Viewing photos using DLO HomeDock for iPod

I just purchased an iPod 60G and am trying to view photos on my tv using the DLO HomeDock for iPod. I am able to get the audio to come through the tv but cannot view photos or video. I have the AV cables hooked up correctly and even have an S-Video cable hooked in. Does anyone have any insight as to why I can't view my photos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps.

The Portable Wireless Server WG-C10 I purchased in 2014 doesn't stream any audio and some video content after updating phone to Android Lollipop 5.x.
The WG-C10 firmware is the last version which is available and the PWS Manager software is the last version available in Google Play Store.
There are no updates for the WG-C10 firmware nor PWS Manager software since 2013 or for Android 5.x (Lollipop) and I don't know if the WG-C10 firmware is the problem or if the PWS Manager software is the problem.
BTW, I am still able to stream this content on my tablet which is on KitKat (4.4.x) so the files are not corrupted. The only problem is with Lollipop.
PWS Manager in the Google Play Store says it supports Android 4.0+ which is no longer true.
The audio file formats which fail to stream are: mp3 and wav
The video file formats which fail to stream are: mp4, avi and 3gp
JPEG Images appear to work fine, but I haven't tried other formats.
I purchased the WG-C10 to stream audio and video primarily to my phone and now that this no longer works, the WG-C10 is useless to me.
Any ideas?

DLO HomeDock Deluxe Video problem

there is no video signal in iPod mode... everything's great when i play music. but when i switch to iPod mode and start playing video - the sound is there, but TV shows no signal. i can see the video playing on the iPod, but there's nothing on the screen. i had to use separate wires to send the audio signal to my receiver, and a regular video rca cable tosend the video signal straight to my tv. anyone had this problem? thanks

You need to set the iPod video settings TV Out to Ask or On.
You cannot see it on the iPod and on the TV at the same time.

Ipod rebooting during/after update

My 30g video iPod is rebooting during or after I attempt to update. Nothing is saving to the iPod during these updates. I have done the 5 Rs, reformatted my iPod, as something was horribly corrupt. Now I have this new problem. I am at a complete loss as to what else to do to stop this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem (the iPod kept rebooting after being ejected) and I went to the Apple store in Toronto to see if I was doing something wrong.
The girl told me to send it back again to Apple... this only after I had just got it back from Apple the same week; they aslo said there was nothing wrong even though, and that it was my computer(s), despite the fact that the behavior was exactly the same thing again on multiple computers.
It would only stop rebooting if I set it to disk mode while connected then restored the iPod (thus erasing all my files...).
I'm going to send it back again and see what they say...

Files on 60GB iPod not found after updates to 1.2

Before I restore just thought I would check. My iPod is conflicted as to what is loaded. Problems occur after update of iTunes 7.0 and iPod updater 1.2.
Manually update is set. iTunes 7.0 says I have 6.0GB of Audio, 13.82GB of Video on a total capacity of 55.68GB iPod. However it also says I have 54.84GB of free space? All music and video files appear with the ! in iTunes, which means file not found.
However, all titles of the files appear on the iPod as if they were still there but just not readable? From the iPod's settings, under About, it shows I still have 1250 Audio file, 98 videos but 54.84GB of space available. If I try to play files in a playlist, it just breezes through the album art and titles like it can't read the files.
Reset, reboot and reinstall does nothing.
iPod is unusable, should I wait for another update?
Should I just restore and loose some stuff that was not backed up? (stupid on my part I know.)
Or does anyone else know of a possible trick I could try?

Help with video playback after updating to 3.1

Hi there, after updating to 3.1 on my 2nd gen iPod Touch, I restored it and loaded some videos I converted. On playing those files, the video would play normally until at a random point the video frame would freeze, while the audio continues to play. If I quit the video app and go back to the video, it would play again normally for maybe 1 minute and then the video frame would freeze again, while audio still continues.
These video files were working perfectly before I updated to 3.0, so I doubt that there is a problem with the files. Could someone suggest what I should do in this situation? Should I revert the firmware back to what it was before updating to 3.0?

I have the same issue, except that if I let it go on for a few secomds the video eventually catches up. I am also watching converted videos, and mine are in mp4 format. I haven't tried m4v yet but this is still a bug that Apple should fix.

Video Freezes after Update to 1.1

Video freezes after 20 seconds of play and then resumes with no audio after upgrading to 1.1.
From what I've read, this seems to be a problem when video has been converted using a third party software. It seems at this point, the only way to remedy the situation is to downgrade to 1.0. Here's how to do it without having to restore your ipod:

Just as a note, I called applecare and my technician was clueless about the problem. She was telling me to send it in, but I'm fairly certain that this isn't a hardware problem, just a problem with the upgrade, as people on many other forums are reporting it. In that case, you probably won't get much help calling customer service just yet. Hopefully they'll put a fix out for it soon.

I had the same problem and downgraded to the lower version. now the video works without any problem, but there seems to be another problem. when I want to eject the ipod from itunes, I get a message, that the iPod cannot be ejected because data on the iPod is currently used by an external program...
any idea...?

Problem with iPod Video (30gb) since update

Hi all.
I, today have had a slight problem with the iPod updater on my iPod Video. I have installed the newest version of itunes (6.0.2 I think), which prompted me to install the newest iPod updater with it, I downloaded that and installed it. After installing I ran the updater, it began to finish the installation and my computer froze (I'm using a new hard drive in my computer and found out thats the problem). My iPod, now, when I turn it on has a blank white screen, I've tried the resetting method (toggle hold, then hold menu and select 6 - 10 seconds) and the light goes away, the ipod beeps 3 times and the white screen comes back. Can anybody please help me? I have tried running the installer again and it just freezes, and when the iPod is plugged into the pc itunes doesn't start, how I had it configured.

After updating the updater my iPod is no longer recognised by itunes. When i plug my ipod in it says do not disconnect and is recognised by the computer, but not itunes. The updater window comes up saying i need to update but it will only give me the option to restore. I have done this. I have tried resetting also, but this doesn't work. I have uninstalled the updater, and reinstalled it. The problem persists. It comes up with an error when i do have the option to update. Now my ipod, when turned on, display the little apple sign, and then the folder with the exclamation, and shortly turns itself off. It has no songs on it now. I've only had it about 8 months so it should still be covered under the warranty, but ideally i would like to solve this problem without sending it off.
Did you work out how to sort out yours? Or can anyone help me with mine!

What is the error message you refer to when you tried to update it.
If you've seen this and it doesn't help then it may need service.
Folder and !.
There is something you can try. If your iPod is recognized in 'my computer' you can try formatting the iPod through Windows, then you would need to reformat it using the iPod updater. This proceedure isn't normal, but can be used in extreme troubleshooting circumstances.
