Data Modeler 3.0.0 build 653 (EA2)
Data Modeler 3.0.0 build 649 (EA1)
Data Modeler 2.0.0 build 584
ForeignKey Name labels randomly move (but always toward the left edge) on the subview when reopening a data model and: selecting the link, selecting one of the tables, hiding/showing the grid, etc...
When the label reaches past the left edge of the subview, it disappears.
Please, please fix this because management requires data models delivered as PDFs and this task that should take seconds can take up to one hour on very complex subviews (and we have a dozen).
Possible hints: logical to display coordinates conversions, cm/inch conversion, zoom level, non-standard DPI on large screen, etc...
Possible solution: add a flag on the label indicating if it has been moved manually by the user and do not perform any automatic repositioning if this flag is set to yes (with a global reset function in a menu).

This is something I have observed also in DM 2.0 build 584.
I had hoped that it would have been fixed in 3.0 as it is very annoying to have to rearrange all labels each time you want to make a print (or PDF).
As far I have seen this seems to have to do with making a change to a relation in the datamodel and then saving.
In the xml-file for the relation model (found in directory <data model home>\rel\<diagram number>\subviews\) not only the x-y coordinates of the change are different but also those of all FK-labels. It seems they are all recalculated or something like that and are getting a different outcome then before.
As a workaround the labels that have dissappeared over the left (or top) edge can be transfered back into the visible area by editing the x-y coordinates int the xml-file. If there is an easier way, I would like to hear because the whole operation of getting the labels back into place every time is very time consuming.

Search form history does not save in latest version of Gmail but does in older version

In the latest version of Gmail, no search form history will save, but it does in the old version of Gmail. I have checked all clear history settings and they are all correct, as it does not delete any other form history including the old version of Gmail. This only occurs in the new version, which is why I've continued to use the older version. I have also checked for plugin conflicts and there are none. I'm on WinXP-SP3 using the latest 3.6.6 version of Firefox.

Gmail may use autocomplete="off" for that form to prevent saving form data.

I'm trying to download the newest version of CC programs on my computer but somehow get older versions

I'm trying to download the newest version of for instance Illustrator (october 2014, including Creative Cloud Libraries, Lady with Sunglasses version) on my computer, but somehow I still get the older version (no libraries, Lion version). What do I do wrong? I tried a new download of Creative Cloud, removed all the Apps and tried a new Illustrator... still the 'old' version.

I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I use Adobe iPad apps, for instance Adobe Brush, Adobe Shape and Adobe Color and it's so great to have all the things you make with these apps in your Illustrator & Photoshop libraries. Somehow it worked om my laptop, but not om my home computer.

Downloading older version of Garageband on OS 10.9.4?

I have a new Mac with OS 10.9.4 that has got Garageband 10.0.2 preinstalled. Here are my two questions:
1) Is that possible I download an older version of GB, and keep using both new and old versions?
2) The new Mac is missing a lot of old mac effects like 'Track echo', 'Track reverb' etc., where do I find them all?
Please help with appropraite links if any. I would want all missing effects back in my new GB please

Before you do any installing, take the following precautions:
Make a full Time Machine backup of your Mac, so you are able to restore the previous state.
Sign into the AppStore (the Store menu) and check, if GarageBand 10.0 is listed on your Purchased tab. If GarageBand 10.0 is listed as your purchase, you can temporarily uninstall it (remove it from the Applications folder), before you install the older version.
1) Getting previous versions of GB from iLiFe older version shouldnt mess my Maverick. :
GarageBand 6.0.5 is running well with Mavericks. Otherwise would the GarageBand 10.0 installer not let it installed in a separate folder. The only problem will be, that the iLife installer DVDs will not install GarageBand 6.0.5 but an earlier version, that cannot run directly in Mavericks. Before you open the installed GarageBand 6.0.x for the first time, run the updater from the Support page: Use this link: GarageBand 6 .0.5
Then test GarageBand 6.0.5, if it is running well.
Now reinstall GarageBand ´10 from the AppStore.
The iLife CD also has older versions of iMovie, iPhoto, and iDVD. You may want to install the iMovie and iDVD versions as well, if you like to make videos. In that case rename the newer versions temporarily, before you run the installer.
2) I also have an option to update my OS to YoseMite and update this Garageband 10 version as well. But I am holding on to it as I dont like the current version of GB in the first place, so why to update again?
At least update to the latest Mavericks version, 10.9.5. for all bug fixes.
You may need to upgrade to Yosemite, if you updated any mobile device to iOS 8. Otherwise you will not be able to use iCloud Drive for your projects. Using iCloud with iOS 8 and on your Mac will require Yosemite.

Need Original/Older Version of Voice Memos Back

I just upgraded my iphone 3GS to iOS 5. It worked nothing too bad. But I found one thing is very annoy is that I could not use the Voice Memo the way I used to, which was I could minimize the voice memo without stop playing it so I could play around with other app a the same time as long as the sound was not involved. I use such as by classroom record and note book. So I could take picture of what's on the board and make recording at the same time and went home study on it by listening and watching the pictures at the same time. Now I could not do it any more-:(((.

But sooner of later, you will likely need to upgrade to iOS 7, or risk the device being left behind when it comes to fucntionality.

Why do duplicate and/or older versions of plugins/addons appear on startup?

I recently started using CCCleaner and ran an analysis of all the plugins and add-ons that are enabled for start-up on FireFox. Interestingly, many of the older versions of some add-ons and plugins appeared and are enabled. Moreover, several of the same programs appear more than once. Is this appropriate? Can the older versions of the the plugins/add-ons be disabled?

You seem to have reset Firefox a few times and still have multiple Firefox profiles.

This is probably done in an older Firefox version because current Firefox versions move the previous folder to an Old Firefox Data folder on the desktop.
If you do not need any data from other than the profile that you currently use then you can remove all other profiles.
You can also remove older versions of plugins that are no longer needed and only keep the most recent plugin version.<br />
You can see the path of plugins in the pluginreg.dat file in the profile folder.

Is it required to keep the older versions of JAVA

I see that all the updates are visible as installed , and take up a large ammount of valuable disk space , is it necessary that all the updates be retained Inidviually on the disk ,
IS IT POSSIBLE to remove the earlier updates and retain only the latest uodated

Older versions of Skype

Hi everyone. My first post here.
I'm trying to use Skype with a Axis M1054 camera. I'm using this via the Axis Streaming Assistant software but I've just found out that Skype 6.3 is the last version the Axis Streaming Assistant was compatible with.
I've tried searching for Skype 6.3 to download but I've not been able to find it. Are the older versions of Skype still available and does anyone know where I could download this from?

Same problem: Upgraded to Skype 6.16.0.015 on Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) just to lose my webcam option! I tried reinstalling/updating all drivers and webcam drivers, but nothing made my built-in-webcam come back IN SKYPE.
But, at the same time, all other apps DID recognize my webcam.Weird.
So, I uninstalled Skype 6.16.0.015 and reistalled an older version 6.3.0.017 from

... and the webcam works again. Hurra!!!
