DME output file

hie guys
afta making payments thru FPY1 the generated DME file is downloading but the file is showing only as a single line...i want to have the file download and have the file as line items separate for each business partner..hw can i do this?

Hi Isaac,
In the header record ,Please fill the detail record(secondary level node) for the node details.
Then you can see the item level in the output.
Thing is u need to create new node inside..
Hope you get it then.
Also check with the right test data.
That is main thing in case of DMEE files

  • DMEE Output File missing records

I'm trying to create a flat file to send payment information to the Bank. I create a format tree that correspond to the Bank Layout using DMEE1 tcode. The request is create a flat file in which only detail records are stored (no headers are needed). After I configure all the payment stuff and run the payment program, the output file only contains one record. My testing scenario include two invoices pointing to a different vendors which are ready to be paid, the file should have two records.
In addition, the idea is to create an Output file based on the CoCde field (separate files). Could you please help on this issue.

    HI Cristobal:
Verifying the file I noticed that It has one record including to payment documents. Instead of that I need to records one per payment document. I tried with both options that you mentioned, but both of them creates one record with the two payments documents.
Could you please let me know what I'm doing wrong?

  • DME output file filled with # symbols

    Hi All,
i'm setting up our PMW to produce a DME file which is sent directly to an address on our file server.  this is all working fine and when i view the DME file using transaction FDTA the file looks fine.
However, when i view the file which is output to our file server, every character is followed by a # symbol.
    How can i stop this?

  • 1099MISC output file for IRS

    Hi:
I need quick clarification on 1099MISC output file (DMEE format tree: IDWTFILE_US_1099). In the T record, it has SAP contact information as vendor at the end the record.
I wanted to check if we need to change the DMEE file (Format Tree: IDWTFILE_US_1099) to remove SAP address and contact information from T record OR we upload to IRS with SAP information on it? In the file format, these fields are defined as constant.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Rahul

You should upload the files to the IRS with the SAP information in the T record.  The vendor information in the T record is the vendor that provided the software used to generate the file - which would be SAP.  This information is required by the IRS.
    See also IRS Publication 1220:  Specifications for Filing Forms 1097-BTC, 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, 8935, and W-2G Electronically (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1220.pdf).

  • DME payment file to be exported automatically

    Hello
We currently generate a payment medium in the form of a text file in different formats according to the payment method. This file is created when the last step of the payment run is carried out, and then the relevant person goes to DME administration FDTA and exports the file to a folder in the network. This file is afterwards imported into the bank system.
The problem we have is from the point of view of security and auditing since the file can be edited once exported and before being imported into the bank system.
For that, we are trying to automate the export of the payment medium. I have tried using the "file name" in the output control but although the log tells me that the output was transferred successfully, this is not happenning. However if I go again to FDTA and export the file (the system tells me that this was already exported although I can not find the file in the specified folder), then this is exported correctly (to the same specified location)
Can anyone tell me what we may be doing wrong? Also, does anyone know of a way of making the output file non-editable?
Or any other possible solutions to this issue?
    thanks a lot

Diego - Here I have just corrected the spelling mistake in the above posting:
If you use DMEE (payment medium workbench) then in the variant, which you define in OBPM4 and assign it to a specific house bank and account ID, you specify the file name and path.
    e.g./usr/sap/interfaces/R3Q/out/common/CGS_OUT_TAXACH
Here '/usr/sap/interfaces/R3Q/out/common' is the path to the SAP server and CGS_OUT_TAXCH is the file name. The path is case sensitive and typically you use lowe case letters.
When you run print program, the files get created and stored in the SAP server as per the above path. SAP also adds a 4 digit number to the file name and the file will be CGS_OUT_TAXACH0163. The four digit number is incremented every time a new file is created, something similar to our FI document number,  to prevent the old file being overwritten by a new file.
After the file is created you can access the file using T-code AL11. In this screen " SAP Directories", you can then drill down to the final destination where the file is stored. So first you will see '/usr/sap/interfaces' (which will be at the bottom of this AL11 scree). Double click on this. Then you will see R3Q (which is the SAP system in this case Quality. In Production it will probably R3P). Like this keep double clicking on each sub directory 'R3Q', then 'Out' and then 'Common' and you will find the file which was created by your print program.
In order to prevent people from changing/editing this file, nobody (except the administrator) gets access to this directory. There will be a batch job (which is event driven and it will be kicked off as soon as this file is saved in this directory) which will pick up this file, encrypt it using PGP encryption program and send this file to the bank using FTP program. So nobody ever handles the file manully.
When the bank receives the file they can decrypt the file (based on the keys or passwords given by you) and then they can read the file and process.
We can also ask the bank to send a confirmation. This confirmation will contain total no. of wires in the file and the amount. Once we get the confirmation we can cross check the total with the number of wires sent by us and the total amount. All this - the process of encryption, FTP to bank, receiving confirmation and checking the confirmation sent by bank within SAP - requires custom program. SAP also has a standard product called Bank Communication  which is a
add-on product with a separate licence fee etc.
Hope the process is clear. By this process you can ensure that no user ever handles the fie manually.

And metalink note 1100253.1 states that this issue (java.lang.StackOverflowError) might be caused by a too large set of data to be sorted in the layout file. Recommendation is to removed the sort from the layout file and instead sort the data already in the data definition.

  • How to find name of report if I know name of instance and location of instance in Output File Store

    Hello all,
can somebody help me to find name of the report if I know name of report instance and also location of instance in Output File Store. It should be done via Query Builder.
It is ...rpt file as output from Crystal Reports. I tried few commands in Query Builder but usually they finished with timeout error.
Could you help me and send specific command? Or way how to change timeout of Query Builder?
    Thanks.
    matus

    Hello all,
    We finally found solution.
We knew that file is located on path .../Output/a_145/009/002/133521/~ce10c.....9332.rtf
This file has more than 2 GB. We tried to find which report is related and provide necessary actions.
As I mentioned we still failed due to timeout error - There was an error retrieving data from the server: CMS operation timed out after 9 minutes.
So we tried to use our testing environment. We started there QueryBuilder and there we successfully tested that we found details about files from FileStore /like Name of the report in Launch Pad, CUID, ...
    SELECT SI_NAME, SI_CUID, SI_FILES FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_FILES.SI_PATH = 'frs://Input/a_148/020/000/5268/'
    or
    SELECT * FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_FILES.SI_PATH = 'frs://Input/ a_148/020/000/5268/'

  • Error message when publishing and problems opening output file

I have 5 projects linked together. When I publish one, I get a message that the files listed below are linked to the open project, and one or more of these projects may require exporting. I have tried to open these files and choose File | Export | Project to | but the options in the list (Flash 8 and Flash CS3) are both grayed out--on every one of these files. I'm publishing to Flash 9.
I didn't think much about this message until a few reviewers said they can't open the project, or when they do, they don't see my playbar on the skin.
One more thing--when an IT person was trying to help one reviewer open the output file, the IT person said "Oh, there's a problem with the code in line 25." I guess that's the html code? I'm not a programmer, but I can look at html code. What should I be seeing there in line 25?
Is their problem opening the output file(s) related to my message about possibly needing to export files? Why might they be having problems getting the output file to open?
Thanks for any insights you can provide!
    SAM

    Hi Sam
It depends on a number of things. Are you certain you uploaded all the files involved? If not, there will be problems.
The message about the linked files is quite simply advising you that you have links from that particular movie that will expect to find the files being linked to.
If a person isn't seeing playback controls and you have included them, it's likely you haven't provided the correct link for them to open and play the file. Typically you provide a link to the HTML page Captivate creates. As long as all the output files are in the same place on the server, you should be good to go.
    Cheers... Rick

When running an xml publisher report the xml output leads to 9 mb and the excel output file leads to 20 mb. The records contained in excel file is 4000 records. When taking the excel records and copy to new excel file the excel file size is 3.5 mb only. Why does the oracle software generates 20mb file?
Does any one knows the answer please advice?

    Hello,
This issue is because the Excel output from BI Publisher is MHTML (XML Publisher generates XHTML) not binary .xls.
MHTML and XHTML are more verbose formats than binary .xls.
It will be large because the current Excel output is just an HTML and not compressed like PDF. Please use the workaround (save it as .xls file).  This is a known limitation of RTF layout templates.
BI Publisher Enterprise has a new feature True Excel Templates. The layouts generate binary Excel output.
Excel Output File Size Generated By BI Publisher is Very Large (Doc ID 760437.1)

Output, I get the error message: "Unable to find published output for this
request" and after clicking 'OK' I get "No output file exists for request
    XXXXXX".
The funny thing is that if I run the Concurrent "XML Report Publisher" I can retrieve the missing Output.
Is there a patch/workaround to get the output without running "XML Report Publisher"?
I´m on EBS 11.5.10.2 and the XMLP version is 5.0.0

Stupid case of RTFM -- as I'd changed the mapping (as per other post) to include the ITEM as the higher level node this is the parameeter I need in the recordset
so when recordset parameter is changed to item the other parameters rmaining the same)
    the file works fine
    Output text file
    1000001|One-time ship-to|ONE-TIME
    1000005|ddfask|;LK;L
    1000010|One Time  Customer Test|SADFIWQEFG
I've given you the points in any case --although I solved the problem before I saw your post you put me on to the correct track from my other related post where I was missing  the higher level node in the data and message mappings
    Cheers
    and thanks

  • In RoboHelp 11 Responsive HTML5, is it possible to have 2 different language outputs in one generated output file?

In RoboHelp 11 Responsive HTML5, is it possible to have 2 different language outputs in one generated output file, similar to WebHelp where the use can select the language from a drop-down list? In Webhelp output you could create multiple Content categories. Is there something similar with the responsive output, or am I forced to have a completely separate set of output files for each language (for example, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic)?

As Rick, mentions, there's no default way.
Having said that, there's nothing stopping you from doing it yourself. You can add a kind of language selector to the layout and set that for every html5 output. With some JavaScript, you can have the user switch between your outputs. It would look like content categories, but you'll have build it yourself.
