DMP 340 with ELO 1919L Touch screen

Hi
We bought an ELO Touchscreen 1919L to integrate with the DMP 340, but i have 0 experience with Linux so i can't install the drivers on the DMP 340, anyone have some instructions apart of the ELO Website? i'm kind of lost.
I connected the DMP to the Touch screen with the USB cable, Linux has recognized immediatly without drivers, but only works the click, i can't move the cursor with my finger.

This driver supports Mac OSX 10.2 through 10.7. It supports multiple monitors and even supports dual-touch on the IntelliTouch Plus products. It supports all Elo technologies except for APR and Projective Capacitive.
Make certain to uninstall all previous versions of the touch driver before installing this driver. If there are any Touch-Base or UPDD icons or shortcuts on the desktop, make sure you remove them before downloading this driver.The downloaded file on your desktop must be named "setup". If it is named "setup1 or setup2 etc.. it will not function correctly. This is explained on the Touch-Base website referred to below:

Problems with Illustrator CC 2014 in Sony Vaio Fit 15A with N-Trig touch screen and digitizer pen.

Some times ago Adobe has updated Illustrator to CC 2014 version and now it support touch pressure\pan\zoom in Windows 8 tablets. I have Sony Vaio Fit 15A with N-Trig touch screen and digitizer pen with pressure-sensitive support.
I was extremely disappointed that the brush in new version does not work correctly. Watch the video please that I did specifically for the demonstration.
I use Adobe Illustrator CS6 and Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 for comparison. In the old version the brush is works correctly. You must do a lot of clicks to start the brush in CC 2014 version (please see video). What causes of the problem? Please help me!

Can a touch screen be replaced with a non-touch screen? Still struggling to Find the answer.
My son has a 3 month old laptop with a touchscreen. Unfortunately he cracked the screen. The actual picture is fine, but the screen cover is cracked. After much searching we found the replacement cost…..all in is some $500. I am trying to find out if the screen can be replaced with a non touch screen. This will save him $250. I cannot seem to get the answer from HP, despite having been a client for many years.
He ordered the HP Pavilion dv6t Select Edition customizable Notebook PC. The product number is XC102AV.
It also shows a product number ww146av . The connector is on the bottom left of the screen.
I am pretty sure that the part number, per the manual, is 631019-001
I had been getting helpful replies from “Erico”, but have not heard back on this issue.

If the above doesn't work, try this:
1. Connect your iPad to iTunes (computer)
2. In iTunes, select your device.
3.From the Summary pane, click "Configure Universal Access" in the Options section at the bottom.
4. Select "Neither" and click OK.

I have an issue with my iphone touch screen not responding, apple replaced phone and still having same issue. They say its software, what can I do I need my phone to work

Touch screen on Iphone slowly, over a few days stopped responding. Went to Genius Bar and was given a new 3GS because they didn't know how to fix the issue. Cool. Went home synced with Macbook Pro (new-12/2010), two days later same issue. This time when I went to Genius Bar they restored the phone to factory settings and instructed me to load as a new phone in Itunes instead of restoring information of the previous phone, which is an option good for when your replacing phone not fixing one Anywho, did everything they told me to do. SAME ISSUE A FEW DAYS LATER. This time I was told the software issue is with my Macbook and I thought this made sense, so I took it in along with the phone. That was yesterday. Phone working intermittently since leaving Apple. I was given instructions that if their "daily" fix didn't work to erase hard-drive and reinstall software that came with the macbook and start fresh. This would definately fix the issue. Extreme yes, but I need use of my phone, especially since we got rid of the house phone and all use cell phones. So last night I did the required erase of hard-drive and re-loaded all software that came with it and Microsoft Office for Mac. Plugged in the phone to set up in itunes and thought that was it. My phone is still not working. Can't answer when I try, can't make calls, etc. What the heck do I do? I'm starting to feel like a major lamo having to keep going back to Genius Bar, but I know enough to know these issues should have been resolved with the steps I've taken. I even went as far as to restore through my husbands computer and same thing. Could there be a problem with Itunes? Could the magnetic stripe in my debit card be hurting the device somehow, although that's a long shot since I have had the same or similar case since getting the phone. Frustrated beyond belief. Apple support not open at this hour so I'm trying my luck here.....

Any way to tranfer contact information from a Palm Pre with a broken touch screen?

My beloved Palm Pre died last Friday with the touch screen failing. It simply stopped responding to inputs. I am able to unlock the phone and enter some commands from the slide out keypad, but I can't do much. For example, I can type in "contacts" under just-type and then hit enter and it will take me to the contacts screen. However, at that point I can't navigate around or open any contacts. Other commands don't respond to the slide out keypad, such as the "USB Drive" prompt when I plug the phone into my laptop.
I have several contacts saved on the phone (and some on the SIM) that I can no longer access. Most were backed up to my Outlook contacts but many are not. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can move these to an alternate source (Outlook, Google, Desktop, etc) where I can then recover them. I'm open to any suggestions.

There are several methods to export Palm Profile contacts such as:

but they all require a device with a responsive touchscreen. I am unaware of any way to access your webOS Profile data from HP's backup servers directly, without a device.
So...if you either know someone with a webOS device you could borrow, or find an inexpensive used one (eg eBay...or if you could use Verizon, get a no-contract Pre 2 from BestBuy for a mere $45!!!), and if you had Backup turned on, you should be able to restore them all by signing into your account on a replacement webOS device.

Anyone else having issues with iPad Air touch screen x y positioning inaccuracy?

I have a 128GB WiFi Cellular iPad Air with IOS 7.0.3 installed. I have noticed, especially with the Photos app, that where you touch on the screen isnt exactly what is returned by the iPad. For example, if I want to view a photo in a display of a series of thumbnails I have to actually touch the photo to the left of the one I want to view. If I touch the one I want to view, the one to the right expands to full screen. I am hoping this is just a software issue. If not, then this one is going to be returned while I still have time in the initial 30 day window.

Well, I think I figured out the problem. I had a pdf file somehow loaded into the camera roll. All images before the pdf were opening appropriately, but the ones ater that file were always shifted to the right. I deleted the pdf file and now they all open correctly.

Help with iphone 4 touch screen!

Can anyone please direct me on what to do to solve the problem i have with my iphone screen caliberation. My center screen usually around 8 and 5 on keypad often presses without me touching it. just a slight move of finger it, it responds like its been touched. even though it corrects itself over a short period of time, it occurs again. now am stuck with what to do because the phone i new and i dont have a an apple center anywear near me. Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

ITouch 4 with a 'jumpy' touch screen

I have restored it many times but it remains very unreliable. When my finger hovers over a key the screen reacts like I've touched it. It is very difficult to unlock it and using it in general is frustrating because the screen is so jumpy. Help?

Something's Wrong With My iPod Touchs' Screen. PLEASE HELP

Ok. Well i jus got an iPod Touch for Christmas. It's been working fine up until a few days ago. What's wrong is that my screen is not working right all of the sudden. About halfway down the screen the screen won't respond when I touch it. It's like i never even touched it at all. The rest of the screen works perfectly when I touch it but it's only a horizontal area across the middle of the creen that won't respond. I have already reset it 3 times and i even restored it back to factory condition but still, nothing. If anyone has had this same problem or knows how to fix this, PLEASE tell me how to get it working again. This device is like 2/3 of my life nd i wud hate to not be able 2 use it anymore. Thanks!

Any way to unlock an iPad with severly broken touch screen

My boss left his iPad 3 on the roof of his car. We located it through iCloud (he has one with an AT&T data plan) and recovered it. It is severly damaaged but the backlight does come on and it does connect to iTunes. We've already used iCloud to transfer his account to a new iPad, but he has 12GB of pics that are still on the device. Unfortunately when it was first lost I the iPad in Lost mode through iCloud. I took some sheets of paper and used another ipad to make a template of where the slide to unlock was located and the keypad to enter our passcode. I don't think the digitizer is working at all as I'm entering the passcode but it is not unlocking and thus I can't get it to back up in iTunes until it is unlocked. Is there any other way to enter the passcode other than the iPad screen?

Still can't unlock the device, but after putting it on a charger for awhile and then reconnecting to my PC, the DCIM folder contianing the pics is showing up through Windows Explorer. I'm just going to pull the pictures off that way. That pictures were the only items I couldn't get through the iCloud back up.

Need Help With Pantech Crux Touch Screen

I don't know if this is the right forum, 95% of the forums seem to be for billing or arbitray things. So, if this isn't please refer me to the correct place for this post.
I have had a Pantech Crux for about 6 months now. About three months ago, the touchscreen stopped working. A section right in the middle refused to allow me to press it. If you were looking at the keyboard, it is the RTYGH section of the phone. It clicks way off to the right, or refuses to click at all. Now, 3 months ago a friend made a suggestion that I wait until the battery died and just restarted. Once I did this, it worked fine, and I chocked the issue up to software.
Now, it has been plaguing me for three weeks, I have let my phone uncharge to zero, erased the entire thing and set the phone to factory settings, I have attempted to clean the screen using certified safe cleaner, all to no avail. What I need to know, from anyone, is A) is this a possible software fix that I can fix? B) if the screen is broken, how much am I looking at to get it fixed?
Honestly, I am beginning to think the pantech curx being listed at near 300.00 without a 2 year warranty is ludicrous and borderline highway robbery. I've enjoyed this phone for the last three months, but if this keeps up the temptation to literally rip it in half and go get a NET10 phone will be too much to withstand. Honestly, I can't text, I can't use the calculator, or any programs. Any and all help would be most appreciated.

I am sorry to learn that your phone is not working properly; I would be frustrated if I had the issues outlined on your post with my phone. Since you have already done several troubleshooting steps including a factory reset, I would consider replacing the phone. The first REAL problem with an all touch screen...

today at work my screen would not work for any of the phone related "touches"...the contact list would come up, but you couldnt select any contact to make a call, the keyboard button would not respond to touch, so no call there, no recents, no favorites...so basicly i couldnt make a call at all on my phone, and because i was not home i could not Restore my phone till i was in front of my computer...BIG PROBLEM

Did you perform either a soft-reboot by pressing & holding the 'home' button for several seconds?

a hard-reboot by pressing & holding both the 'home' button and the 'keyguard' button for several seconds?

Try it out, and good luck! It worked for me. But yeah, it would be nice if the iPhone didn't freeze within the first month of purchase, right? It's also a bit odd, when most people are used to the blue-screen of death from Windows, or the kernal-panic of OSX. Maybe the iPhone deserves it's own 'HELP I'm frozen and need a reboot' screen of death....
