.dmp Error

Hi
While selecting G/L Account from choose from list in outgoing Paymnet and Journal entry, system shows .dmp error and application goes close and showing the error message " Application has a problem Diagnostic file C:\ User Administrator \Local settings \application Data\ SAP \ SAP Business One \SAP Business One _20101011.dmp was created."
Please let me share the solutions

Hi Shamseer......
If such kind of .dmp file is coming specially during entries then you should raise a support ticket to SAP and post this file them. They can only know about this error code..

I have one client which produces DMP errors each time they go into the Business Partner Master Data screen. This is since they have been upgraded to 8.8 PL20. Prior to this, there was no such issue.
The spec of the machine is as follows:

1.99GB RAM
Has anyone on here come across this problem since upgrading to 8.8 PL20?

Hi ,
Check system message log.
Check if two instances of the BP Master are running.
check if any mandatory UDF or FMS or SP_TN creating a problem.
Try cleaning Tmp and log files.
Even if any of your add on EXe is not getting terminated properly then this may also cause such issues.

QUAL*.dmp - error at index

Hi, SCM-System created QUAL*.dmp with following content:
error at index :        23
   5 DUMMY             epos:     0 elen_var:      0   4   4
   9 VALUE              pos:     1    maxLen:      7 100 16
13 NOT LIKE           pos:    -4       no :      3   0   0 data_part
DB version is 7.6.03.015
Could someone declare this error? What means the "23"? How can I check this issue?
Dump occured 10x per day.
One time I found a canceled Job "BI_PROCESS_SCM_DP005". But I don't believe if dump and Job are connected.
Most of "BI_PROCESS_SCM_DP005" are finished succesfuly.

I recommend to create the SAP message and get SAP support.
We could login and check the dump.
    Is it Abap dump?
We could check what error you got.
   Is it the SCM database error?
   What is the SCM database?
   Did you get liveCache or LCA errors, DBSL errors?
If you get the ABAP dump what part of the ABAP code was running?
    The ABAP back stack?

SAP B1 Drag & Relate causes DMP Error

We have noticed for windows 7 / windows 8.1 machines that when we come to use the 'Drag & Relate' facility, it is causing those SAP clients to crash with the following error:
I have found on this forum a thread which indicates this may be a bug, fixed in 8.82 PL10. Is anyone able to provide me with the SAP Note number?

SAP Business One 8.8Client throughs a .Dmp file

Hi Experts,
When we click Set Authorize Button in Report & Layout Manager ,SAP Business One 8.8Client throughs a .Dmp file Error and Closes Itself Immediately.
Then Also When we try To Open Reports Some times It Throughs The .Dmp File Error And Closes Immediately.

Our Patch Level is :12
SAP Business One 8.8 ,SP:000,
SAP Client Throughs the .dmp error in All our Client Systems.
And in server System too this error is coming and Closes itself Automatically.
We have Tried Cleaning Temp File Folders.
And We Have deleted the .Dmp files generated in Local Settingss\Application Data\SAP folder.
After Reports are opening normally .Again After Some times this .Dmp is created and Client Closes itself.
And We couldn't use Set Authorize In Report & Layout for Each Users.
Client always closes when we click Set Authorise in Report & layout Manager, by generating .dmp file in Local Settingss\Application Data\SAP folder.

When i am opening a report like Inventory Posting list and untick the daily subtotal daily,monthly and yearly.SAP gets hanged with a msg showing .dmp file is created and closes automatically.It happens both in the Server and the client.

Go to C drive-->Programfiles>SAP--
>Sap Business one
in this you find one log folder in this log folder
remove files whichever with files .dmp
for example:
SAP Business One_20110910093750.dmp
and similarly delete files from %temp%,recent,prefetch,cookies and recycle bin and restart ur system .
Now u will not get any dmp error .

Recently i upgraded my SAP B1 2007 B to SAP 8.8 PL:12 and when i tried to set the authorization for using crystal report an .dmp file get created and error msg box get displayed and SAP client get closed.
Administration -

> Report and layout manager -
>(Specified report is chosen)Set Authorization button is clicked the .dmp file get generated. Please give me a solution

follow these steps
first delete client set up from add/remove programms
secondly delete sap business one folder form program files from c drive whre sap is installed
now delete %temp%,prefetch,recent and recycle bin
and restart ur system and now install sap client setup and now u will not get any dmp errors
i think this will solve ur prob

Cant able to change adminstrator password

Hello experts,
Im facing problem when i m changing the administrator password by using the change paswd option in sap business one 2005,pl25.
Im already logged as administrator, then also it cant change, when i enter the new paswd and click on update button, its give dmp error and shutdown the sap.
Please let me knw any suggestion to resolve this problem.

Could you change other superusers' passwords? If you can, you may just disable this built-in user and create a new admin user.

Logged-on user after client crash

Hi,
Very often, after a crash of B1, if the user tries to log back on they get a message: 'Can't log on - user is already connected to B1'.
Sometimes this is sorted by waiting a couple of minutes (which is a bit annoying), but sometimes it is much more than a couple of minutes, and sometimes the connection has to be killed on SQL Server Managment Studio.
It would be great if we could disconnect a user from within B1 (maybe on the License Administration screen).

If such things happen when your user throws out of the system because communication link failure or critical cache or dmp error then wait for five minutes till the services gets stopped or restart system.
Anyhow this type of problem is good you have to raise support ticket to SAP in case of dmp error and if any communication link failure you have to look for network connectivity........

INDEX failed to create while Import using datapump

OS : Solaris 10
I am trying to Import the data using the following command.
impdp system/******* SCHEMAS=EIMS DIRECTORY=expdp_dir DUMPFILE=eimsexp.dmp*
but it fails import index and error out, but the tables and data imported.
I checked in the metalink and followed the Note id (During Data Pump Import Index Creation Fails With: ORA-39083 and ORA-14102 errors OR ORA-39083 ORA-02158 and ORA-39112 errors [ID 1066635.1]) , but no luck.
Kindly advice me.

Yes i applied the patch, still i am getting the same error and again i followed one more note (Impdp Failed With Error Ora-39083, 0ra-01403 On Index_statistics (Doc ID 755253.1))
in that note i given option "exclude=index", then i got in different error.
We are in the process of doing testing on Tablespace Encryption.
We are having two instances one is dev and uat instance.
we are creating Encryption tablespace on uat instance and trying to import the data from dev instance only from particular user.
We completed the followings.
1. Created tablespace Encryption.
2. Created user and assigned the tablespace to the user EIMS1.
3. Took export from the dev instance using the following command.

DMP 5.1 = 5.2 Upgrade Issue? "An error has occurred..."

I upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2, and the VP and DMP upgrades went fine (other than the one 4305 I managed to "brick" in the process). But
on the DMM upgrade, not so much. All seemed to work well, except when trying to access the DMM admin post-install I get the following error message: ("An error has occurred. Click on the button below to try again. If this does not work, please contact your system administrator.)
I suspected a DNS misconfiguration issue on the initial upgrade, but after verifying forward and reverse DNS FQDN's everywhere, I did a clean 5.1 build and upgrade to 5.2, and still the same issue.
Everything else seems to work fine. AAI is accessible and it sync's with SaS, and there are not other visible errors reporting anywhere else along the way, but I can't seem to get past this (Tomcat?) error.
Ideas?

Regenerate Certificate by changing Hostname (can be the same hostname, just select “OK” w/o changing the name).

Error while importing a .dmp file

I have created a DB in Oracle 10g and when i started to import the dump file

I get the following error
