DMR Functionality

Dear QM Gurus,
I have created DMR at inspection lot level, it is working fine, the only question is, it is generating skip lot as per settings and showing material directly in un-restricted stock, but lot is also having SPRQ status and when i go for UD it is showing stock to be posted. In mmbe it is showing in Un-restricted stock, so i am confused what exactly system is doing, when we use DMR with SKIP function?

Hi,
Donot confuse the procedure followed in the skip
as per std, if you maintain DMR in Qplan for the skip, the lot with skip will be moved directly to Unrestricted stock type.
but the system generate the inspection lot with  the status SKIP.
here you can clear the lot and donot want to do the post change.
check and confirm

    I have the following two scenario on DMR, hope you can answer me. Appreciated.
    Sccenario A
    May I know when the tighten inspection incurs as a result of dynamic modification rule, normally, what will the consequence on checking in term of business scenario, let say for example, we would like the the tightening inspection to be something likeu2026
    Sample size: increase to 10% compare to current level of stock quantity.
    The reject number of failed stock must be lower compare to current level of reject level.
    Question 1
    My 1st question is do I have to set this kind of tighten inspection in sampling schema?
    Scenario B
    Currently I have sampling schema setup with the following Inspection level/AQL value:
    Inspection Level --------------------------------- AQL value
    1 u2013 Inspection with Sampling Schema --------------- 1.00
    2 u2013 Reduced Inspection ---------------------------- 1.00
    4 u2013 Normal Inspection ----------------------------- 1.00
    6 u2013 Tightened Inspection -------------------------- 1.00
    This sampling schema is assigned to a sampling procedure, with the ADDITIONAL DATA value (i.e. additional data reference to sampling scheme) to inspection severity 4 and AQL value 1.00.
    This sampling procedure is assigned to an inspection plan with material A, and plant 1000. Further I have created a DMR and assigned it to this sampling procedure in Tcode QDB1 (assign sampling procedure) table.
    Next, an inspection lot is created and is rejected on usage decision. My DMR machanism kicks-in and update the next inspection stage as the u201CThighten Inspectionu201D stage.
    Question 2
    Thus, my 2nd question is:
    Does the system going to perform the valuation (i.e. to reject and to accept a result recording) based on the above inspection level of 6 (i.e. Tightened Inspection) sample plan specified on the schema BECAUSE the new inspection stage now is u201CThighten Inspectionu201D stage??
    If not like what I said, I am wondering how R/3 going to perform the logic on the new inspection stage when the DMR kicks-in for the next inspection lot?

    Dear Yong
    Tighetened inspection represents its literal meaning of tightening the insepection.
    1) Tighetened can be done in many ways for eg
    a) You increase the no of inspection for this material
    b) Increase the sampling size and acceptance number for the material
    This is all based on what you define in the system. It is not mandatory that you have to mention tightened inspection but it is more of a functional need
    2) System will valuate based on the acceptance number and AQL value which you have mentioned in the sampling scheme if the stage mentioned is Tighetened

  • DMR - stock posting for skip lot

    hi experts,
    i am creating a DMR for raw material GR gainst PO.
    I am creating DMR at lot level. i will inspect first batch an skip next 5 batches.
    after executing i am getting 6 inpsection lots with first as normal inspection lot and next 5 in skip status.
    now the query is in one system after GR of PO i am getting the skip lot  stock in quality and in other system (other client) .
    i am getting the skip lot stock directly in unrestricted use. both have inspection lots status REL SKIP.
    dmr RULE is same , material master inspection type settings are same.
    what is standard SAP function shud the stock go to quality or untrestristed for skip lot ?
    what might be reason for this different behaviour ? any function module or user exit  is used?
    anything i need to look in config.?

    Bit late but maybe other people find this a helpful answer.....
    Check the inspection lot control settings in the material master.
    If option For each material document item is chosen, the skiplot goes to unrestricted stock.
    If option For each material document, batch and storage location is chosen, the skiplot goes to quality stock.

  • Reset Date in Quality Level / DMR.

    Business Requirement = Vendor Annual Certification. All batches received by the vendor during the year goes through minimal inspection and on the 365th day (reset period (days) in DMR) it changes to the initial stage of the DMR.
    However, the reset date field in the Quality level screen resets itself on the basis of the "date of last Inspection" field in the same screen. This field changes every time a UD or MIGO is executed. Therefore, the true 365th day is never reached and so the quality level never resets to the original stage.
    I'd like to change the functionality of the reset date in the Quality Level screen to reset after the yearly requalification sample (to conform to the reset period in the DMR), as opposed to after every inspection UD/MIGO. The reset date should "reset" after the initial inspection stage (in the DMR) is completed.
    Is there a way to do this through config or a user exit, or something else? Thanks in advance,

    To fulfill this requirement created DMR as following:
    Stage -1: InspeServ-4,  Skip - Blank, Ist - Select check box, Stc - select, No of insp - 1, Next stage -2, reject -1, Nect -Stage 2.
    Stage 2: InspServ - blank, Skip - select check box, Ist - skip, Max. skip duration - 365, next - stage 1, reject - 1, next - stage 1.

  • Function Active but (BFS 'DIMP) not allowed - Billing Request Editor Web UI

    I am working on setting up the Billing Request Editor.  When I completed the configuration in the ECC 6.0 system and access the Web UI and enter my debit memo request (DMR) that came through my RRB (DIP) process, I get the following error:
    Requested function is active (BF 'SD_01') but not allowed (BFS 'DIMP')
    Has anyone received this error?  How can this be fixed?

    Hi Sara, I have the SAP documentation that describes the configuration and setup of the Billing Request Editor.  It however is a bit cryptic, but does give a general guide with screen shots on the type of configuration required.
    I have gone through the steps and though I am able to get the editor's UI up and running, I have a few errors to work through.  I originally had an error stating that the "Customizing for Characteristics was not complete" but solved this error by ensuring that all Characteristics that were setup as "character relevant" for the specific DIP profile were entered in the IMG activity "Select Characteristics from Dynamic Item Processing".  I found that it this error was resolved when the characteristics were entered in the exact sequence as they appear in the DIP profile (ODP1).
    Since then I have come upon two other errors that I am now working through:
    1.  "Form of Address Key not defined" - even though I have updated the form of address keys and config with generic values
    2.  "H is not a unit without dimension" - I assume this relates to the setup of the unit of measure and therefore requires me to use HR instead of H for hours.
    Has anyone encountered and solved these two items? 
    Sara, I hope the first part helps.  If you can't find the SAP documentation I would suggest looking up OSS note 1223103 and also check related notes.  The documentation should be attached.  I can't recall the number offhand where the documentation is found.
    Otherwise I can try to get it to you via other means.

    There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
    Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
    HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.

    When we use IF in calculation view with CE function the SQL engine is used.
    When we remove the "IF" the  CE engine is used.
    Is there any alternative for if or case in CE functions?

  • IPhone 5s Voice memo to mp3. Now music on iPhone. Won't play from search function.

    I record my band rehearsals using the voice memo on my iPhone 5s. Then I sync to iTunes and convert file to mp3. When i sync back to my iPhone it appears in my music. So far, so good. When I use the search function in music it finds the file but won't play from tapping. I must troll through all my music songs (currently 2227 of them) to find it and then play it. Is it something to do with it still being under the genre "voice memos" or what ?  Anybody help please.  Thanks

    Good morning! HP AiO Remote App is installed on my iPad4 and in the same WiFi network with my HP Envy 120 printer. The printer is recognized by the app and marked with a green led. When I tap on scan or copy in the app menu, it tells me that these functions were available in the app only for printers which provide these features. But HP Envy 120 has both scanner and copier. And last time it worked. Some idea what could have happened here? Thanks. UJ

    Hi UJKarl, welcome to the HP Forums. You should be able to scan from the HP AIO Remote App on your Envy 120 printer. You probably just need to power cycle the printer, iPad and router to regain proper function.
    Turn off your printer with the power button. Power down the iPad by holding the sleep button down until you get the option to 'slide to power off'. Then disconnect the power cord to your router and count to about 10, and then plug it back in. Once the router comes back online, turn the printer on. When the printer comes back online (blue wi-fi light stops blinking), then power the iPad back up. Try again, and it should work.
    Let me know how it turns out.

  • 7515 ios 8 scanning doesn't function using document feeder

    My AiO remote updated on my iPad today and i have issues scanning from the scanner. The printer and tablet functions properly when scanning using the glass however when using the document feeder, AiO remote scans the sheets then before saving it says there is a problem with the scanner, check the scanner. not sure why it works with the glass and NOT with the feeder.

    I am having the exact same problem. I will add that scanning from the document feeder to my Mac Book works fine. The problem with the document feeder is only whenn atttempting to use the AiO software on my iPad.

    I am replicating some of the sample report of SQL Servers in BusinessObjects XI R3.1.
    One of the SQL Sever's report is of product catalogue type that gives complete information like name, category, description along with the products image etc... for each of the products.
    I am trying to replicate the above said SQL Server report in Business objects XI R3.1. I am facing problem in bringing the image in to my BO report. The image resides in a table and its datatype is of varbinary(max). I don't know the exact matching while creating an object in the uiverse designer.

    Since installing LTR 5.4, which I've now upgraded to 5.6, I've encountered repeated slowness and malfunctions in operations, especially when using the Compare View function and the Tab key to open and close the right and left side panels.  Such problems never arose during two years of using LTR-4 and nothing else has changed on my computer.  I have a pretty simple system with only a few plug-ins, which are usually not in operation.  I have 12GB of RAM in my Windows 7 PC.  I could illustrate these problems with screen shots if you would tell me how to submit screen shots.  Otherwise I will try to describe the problems in words.
    The problem is clearly cumulative, growing worse as usage time passes.  Compare View feature gradually slows down and eventually seems to choke as my work session proceeds. If I Exit LTR and re-enter and start all over, things will work normally for maybe 30 minutes, but then the Compare View feature begins to become very slow to respond.   In a recent example with my screen full of thumbnails in Library mode I highlighted two images to compare. LTR started to open the Compare View screen by first having the top row of thumbnails disappear to be replaced by the "SELECT" and "CANDIDATE" words in their spaces  (but no images), but Compare View never succeeded in gaining control of the screen. After some seconds the top row of thumbnails reasserted its position and the Compare View windows disappeared. But LTR kept trying to bring them back. Again the top row of thumbnails would go away, Select and candidate would reappear, try again, and give up. This went on for at least 2-3 minutes before I tried to choose File and Exit, but even that did not initially want to respond. It doesn't like to accept other commands when it's trying to open Compare View. Finally it allowed me to exit.
    To experiment I created a new catalog of 1100 images.  After 30-40 minutes, the Compare View function began to operate very slowly. With left and right side panels visible and two thumbnails highlighted, hitting Compare View can take half a minute before the two mid-size  images open in their respective SELECT and CANDIDATE windows. When the side panels are open and two images are in the Select/Candidate spaces, hitting the Tab button to close the side panels produces a very delayed response--25-30 seconds to close them, a few more seconds to enlarge the two images to full size. To reverse the process (i.e., to recall the two side panels), hitting Tab would make the two sides of the screen go black for up to a minute, with no words visible. Eventually the info fields in the panels would open up.
    I also created a new user account and imported a folder of 160 images. After half an hour Compare View began mis-placing data.  (I have a screen shot to show this.)  CANDIDATE appears on the left side of SELECT, whereas it should be on the right. The accompanying camera exposure data appears almost entirely to the left of the mid-screen dividing line. Although the Candidate and Select headings were transposed, the image exposure data was not, but the data for the image on the right was almost entirely to the left of the line dividing the screen in two.
    Gurus in The Lightroom Forum have examined Task Manager data showing Processes running and Performance indicators and they see nothing wrong.  I could also send screen shots of this data.
    At this point, the only way I can process my images is to work 30-40 minutes and then shut down everything, exit, and re-start LTR.  This is not normal.  I hope you can find the cause, and then the solution.  If you would like to see my screen shots, tell me how to submit them.
