DMRS_tablename --why these tables are creating

Hi ,
i created a schema and designed the datamodel through the SQL DATA MODELER..after extrating and running the ddl the tables are created perfectly.but many tables in the form of dmrs_tablename are created reduntanly. i dont know why this created.
but im sure these are created after connecting the schema to data modeler tool only.kindly let me know why this are creating, wat are those tables and importance of those tables.
thanks in advance,
Jeevanand.K

Hi Jeevanand,
DMRS_xxx tables are created in "export to reporting schema" functionality. If you don't need reporting repository then go again to "export to reporting schema", select the connection for your schema and you can drop tables using "Drop repository" in maintenance tab.

  • How many tables are created in Master data loading ( Including hierchy )

    hi ,
    Please anybody , can you tell us how many tables are created in Master data loading ( Including hierchy )
    thanks
    Phani

    Hi PP,
    Depending upon the definition of an infoobject, the tables are created when the objects are activated.
    /BI<C OR DIGIT>/<TABLE CODE><INFOOBJECT>
    <C or digit>: C = Customer-defined InfoObjects
    digit = SAP-defined InfoObjects
    <table code>: S = SID table
    T = Text table
    P = Time-independent master data attributes
    Q = Time-dependent master data attributes
    M = Union of time-dependent and time-independent master
    data attributes
    X = SID table for time-independent navigational attributes
    Y = SID table for time-dependent navigational attributes
    H = Hierarchy table
    K = Hierarchy SID table
    I = Hierarchy SID structure table
    J = Hierarchy interval table

  • Why dimension tables are denormalized?

    why dimension tables are denormalized?
    Duplicate post
    Edited by: Pravender on Jun 17, 2011 12:31 AM

    Hi,
    As pr my understanding, if you have a normalized structure for say, a cube, mean you have 10 table connected to single central table. So while queying you are trying to read data in a single SELECT on virtually a view of 10 different tables.
    While in the present denormalized cube structure, you go for different selects virtually F table -> DIM table -> SID table -> Mastertable -> Text table. One can imagine sort of parallel SELECTs.
    So if for small amount of data this denormalized structure may be slow but if you imagine for huge volume, this method is better.

  • Any reasons why these options are grayed out in PSA? Transfer/Create/Delete

    Hi,
    I have a flat file mater data attri in PSA and it is not showing in Targeted InfoObject. When I select all the objects in the PSA, I thought the "Transfer" option in the menu option List, would let me transfer the selected data into the customer infoobj but Transfer, Create and Delete options under List in the PSA are grayed out.
    Any reasons for these options being grayer out?
    Any way to push the data from here in the the InfoObject?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    thanks for the input.
    No, this is not through process chain
    I created infopak to load the data from flat file... which placed it in the PSA.
    Then I created DTP which is supposed to take the data to the Customer InfoObj  but it did not. That is why I wanted to manually push it from PSA to InfoObj.
    Any more help?
    Thanks

  • How many tables are created?

              How tables does weblogic (7.0) create in database when using JMSJDBCStore? According
              to the DDL, there are only two tables; JMSSTORE and JMSSTATE.

    That's it. Two.
              And in the next release (named 9.0?) it will likely
              go down to one.

  • Why these tablespaces are cofigured "management manual" by default in 10g?

    By default, the tablespaces such as system,temp,and undo are cofigured "management manual"(segment management),not "auto"? Why?
    Is "management manual" better than "management auto" for these tablespaces?

    This is the default, and it has to do with upward compatibility between 9iR1 and 9iR2. Oracle has several level defaults, if you don't specify it explicitly it'll be the value it will take.
    Back in 9.2.0 when this feature first appeard, there were imcompatibility issues between 9.0.1 and 9.2.0, and if you wanted to downgrade 9iR2 to 9iR1 you were required to distroy this kind of tablespaces. And this default remained since then.

  • Just wondering if anyone knows why these lines are showing when I print?

    Hi,
    I am new to Photoshop Elements and was wondering if anyone could help.  I do not want these lines around my image showing up when I print. I am using Elements 8, Epson Artisan 1430 printer and Windows 8.
    Thank-you!

      I am just unable to get it sized correctly when I print from that application.
    Use the crop tool. If the paper stock is 5x7, then crop the file to 5x7.
    clctopoftheline wrote:
    The paper has also been cropped and sized to the paper stock I am using.
    I do not comprehend this.
    Additional suggestions:
    Be sure that you have the latest drivers for the printer. Check on the Epson web site
    Clean the printhead and align the cartridges under maintainance
    Make sure the size of paper loaded matches the paper size selected in PSE

  • Is there a way to find the temporary table that are created or read during?

    Hi All,
    I'm working on performance optimization where I have to find the temporary tablespaces that are created or read during runtime? Is there any way to find it?
    Can you please also tell me how the temporary tables are created? And after each run time whether the data is getting deleted or the whole table is getting deleted?
    Whether these tables are created only during runtime? What are the naming conventions for all the temporary tables that are created?
    Is the table creation has anything to do with Delta or Full load?

  • Tables are not coming to oracle model from sqlserver 2000 while using OMWB

    Hi,
    I am using oracle migration workbench to migrate SQL Server 2000 to oracle 9i. When capture source database and create the oracle model is run. only tablespace and users coming to Oracle model from sql server. Table are not coming. These table are owned by dbo in sql server and
    All other users in the database has full privilege on this tables. Do I need to some setup to get this tables

    Try the following
    || This script sets the "dbo" to have the "sa" login.
    || NOTE: Server settings for the SQL Server instance must be set to
    ||"Allow modifications to be made directly to the system catalogs".
    || This is found under Server Setttings tab for server properties.
    UPDATE sysusers

    Nobody knows whats the table is for....
    Actually we were working with oracle 7.3 upto 2004. On 2004 we upgraded to 9iR2. May be the DBA in that time made some mistake.... i think so....thats why all these tables are still here....
    I was not in the picture during that time.
    Now my question is how can i know whether this table is necessary or not. I asked the developers here they said they are not using these tables. But my manager is afraid to delete these tables.
    now what should i do?

    Hi,
    Yet another request to use my crystal ball.
    We had one pc which is having oracle 9i enterprise manager configured(windows 2000) only to connect the db.
    This remembers me of the Gospel of St. Luke, chapter 2, where it is stated,
    'and they found the child in the manger'.
    This resulted a Jewish theologian to remark: 'The manger? Well, so that must have been their own manger'
    So what does 'the' db mean? The Linux one? Or a separate on Win2000?
    It is quite possible to manage a Linux database using OEM on Win2000, with OMS on Win2000.
    'But our server is not having enterprise manager'. Yet another riddle. Which server? There seem to be at least two.
    1 Now if I drop these tables, will I be able to connect to our database using the windows2k pc through Enterprise Manager?
    Yes, but only in standalone mode, and you can't use OEM alerts, and jobs anymore. You would be better off using Sqldeveloper, as OEM Sql worksheet is a nightmare.
    2 That is your decision.
    3
    oemctl ping oms
    will check whether you have an Oracle Management Server running.
    You already seem to have the Enterprise Manager Repository, so you must have OMS running somewhere. (Why install the repository, if you don't use it)

  • Reg : delta field for vbbe table while creating generic extractor

    hi
    i want to know which field should i use to do delta from vbbe table.
    do i have to ask my functional consultant for what field should ibe using or
    should i decide on my own
    your answer would be defintely rewarded
    thanks a lot

    Hi,
    I would suggest you to create a new sales document and try to find out how does it the new entry is entered in VBUK, VBUP, VBEP and VBBE tables. Also, try to change / modify and delete existing record and see the changes in the table. You need to check which date fields or any deletion indicator is set / modified or not. Do all this one by one and see the changes in the tables. Also, all these changes will be logged in change log table such as CDHDR and CDPOS. This will have all the history of changes for one sales document. Once you identify all this then it will be very easy for you to identify the delta fields. The other way is to speak to functional consultant and ask him how all these tables are affected when you change / modify / add / delete records.
    Hope this helps.

    pankajThis is called recyclebin. Dropped tables goes into the recyclebin, and can be restored from the recyclebin.
    If you dropped table with PURGE option, it would not go into recyclebin.
    To drop object from recyclebin itself, use SQL>purge table "BIN$ja1wOa6kYLPgQAB/AQB5ZQ==$0" ;
