Hi Jayesh
This looks a clear issue of authorizations
when the user gets this error just type /nsu53 transaction code and you will get what authorization is missing to him, just add that and it will be fine
Also refer to
http://www.sap-press.de/download/dateien/1681/sappress_effective_document_management_with_sap_dms.pdf
This contains in detail what are the authorization required for DMS and also contains the full configuration of DMS

  • OS X Server not saving my File Sharing settings

    Hi there,
Hoping there is someone out there who can help as there are a few head scratching issues going on!
Basically the main issue I am getting is to do with File Sharing in OSX Server.
I have two raid servers set up with a mac mini server acting as the link to the main network. I use GlobalSan Xtarget to mount the Raids.
I have set up OSX Server primarily so that I can use the VPN function on the Mac Mini, otherwise it is a very simple set up. However, when I attempt to change the settings of my second raid, (As Displayed) clicking ok doesn't save the settings or infact close the window, it just does nothing, with no warning errors as to the reason why. What I am trying to do is remove allow guess users access to this share.
Now your probably thinking why don't I just remove the opportunity for a guest to log into the server, while yes this will work, it's just that I am getting other issues that I am wondering is linked to what is happening In OSX Server.
For instance, I have a Capture One Catalog archive which is supposed to link to a selected folder on my raids. One is for my commercial work, and one for personal. I have a raid for Commercial Work which works completely fine (All the images display and import into the catalog), and a raid for Personal Work (The raid with the file share issues in Server). When attempting to import the images from the Personal Raid, it doesn't recognise them, it knows they are there, but it doesn't recognise it as an image file. However, you can view them fine in Finder.
I thought it was maybe a Sharing and Permisions issue, so I matched the settings from the Commercial Raid with no success. So I am wondering if it is to do with this issue I am having In OSX Server.
To add to these points, I am also getting an Unknown User showing in the User list for the Commercial Raid, not that it seems to be causing a problem, but it is another thing thats happened since migrating the server from 10.8 to 10.9.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advanced.
    Aaron

Ok so I've solved the Capture One Issue, it was due to the / in the Personal/Moving name of the Raid, so that is all fine.
But if anyone does know why server won't save the File Sharing issues, and the issues with the Unknown User, it will still be a great help!
    Many thanks,
    Aaron

  • Server not finding image files

I built a simple, blank page and placed 8 photos.
Since this is not part of the site, I exported the site as HTML files and uploaded them to the server.
This is what I did with the home page and photos and it's fine.
However, this page won't load. I can see that the page is there... there are the placeholders for the
photos, but no photos. I've copied over the CSS list and still nothing. I've take the photos out of
their original folder - where they were when i placed them - and still nothing. If I Preview in Browser
in Muse, the photos are there. If I open the HTML page in Safari, the photos are there. But if I put them
on the server, the go to that page in Safari, they are not. I'm stumped.

The complete folder structure exported by Muse has to be uploaded to your server (with no changes).

  • Exchange server - not available post files

    Hello!

    Hi,
    Thank you for you support.
Kindly find the current mail server scenario following
gmail Google Apps - Currently 70% of users are using
Company Exchange server -  Currently 30% of users are using
    Active Directory - Windows server 2008 R2
    My Question :
All users IDs are available in AD who is using gmail Google Apps as well as MS Exchange. Currently we have created the mail box in Exchange server for
30% users only. these users information has updated from user object in AD to Exchange server without any issue. Other 70% users mailbox has been created in Google Apps, also these users ID object created in AD. But these
70% users details is not updating in Exchange server though user object. We have to create the contacts also for these 70% users in AD to get the information in Exchange server.
Can you please tell me is there any possible way to update these user information in Exchange server without creating the contact in AD.
Kindly update me if you have any queries..
    Hi AditionalDC,
Exchange server read user information from Active Directory, so you could update 70% users details to Active Directory from , then Active Directory will sync user details to Exchange.
    Best regard,
    Jim

  • Attached files not appearing in  BPM TaskForm.

    Hi All,
We are seeing an error in the server whenever we attach files in the BPM TaskForm.
Not sure what configuration we are missing in the server , Which will take care of it.
In the UI we don't see any error. But whatever file is attached. It won't appear the wizard.

    No we are not using.
I am thinking , Some setup is missing in the server.
Because the same code is working in One server and it's giving this error in other server.
    Steps to reproduce:
1# Click the "+" icon in attachments window in BPM TaskForm.
2# The Attachments window opens up.
3# Select file and click OK.
It throws below error in UI.
Token decryption failed.Could not extract infromation from Workflow context token.Ensure that the Workflow context is not corrupted and it was generated from one of the nodes in the same cluster.
    Thanks,
    Sid.

  • I can no longer attach files in Yahoo mail since upgrading to FireFox 4.0.1. I click the "attach" button and nothing happens - no file list to select from appears; nothing.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 the "attach files" function in my Yahoo Mail account no longer functions. When I click the "attach files" button nothing happens - nothing. No file selection box opens, no error message appears, no pinwheel of death, nothing.
The "attach files" button is no longer 'hot' in FF 4.0.1 either = the "little hand" icon does not appear when I scroll over it. Other action buttons are still 'hot' ("attachments", "emoticons", "format", "hide bcc"etc.) - just not the "attach files" button.
The Yahoo Mail "attach files" function still works when I use my Safari browser, however. So, it appears to be a FF4.0.1 issue.

Sometimes these problems can be quite the trial and error due to the multiple interaction of various files etc. At least we know this problem is specific to your User Account.
If you haven't done so, move the com.apple.safari plist back to its original location, writing over the newly created file.
Move to the desktop the Safari folder (which holds bookmarks, history, etc), and restart Safari. Try a download. If no relief, move the folder back, replacing the newly created one. If it does work, then you'll need to move one file at a time back to its original location, restarting Safari each time to isolate the problem file.
If the above doesn't work, go to the User Library>Caches>Safari and move that file to the desktop. Same routine as the previous step (restart Safari, etc). If no go, move the folder back etc.
The last one to try is the cookies.plist file found in your User Library>Cookies folder. Same routine, except restart the computer before restarting Safari.
    Post back.

  • Attaching files to a web form

please tell me how to attach files to a web form for uploading. i know how to make a page that just uploads a file. but before i do it, i have to attach files( sent by a pop-up window ) to a web form in a main window. There are some resources about uploading files, but not for attaching files to a web form... please help me...
    Thanks in advance...

    I gotcha!
    Try this:
    1) Open new window with file inputs within a std form.
    2) Have form submit to servlet
    3) Have servlet retrieve file(s) and save them in session.
    4) Have servlet spit out javascript to close popup window and refresh main page (which will then show some sort of verification that the files were received.
    5) When main form is submitted, retireve (and remove) files from the session and process.
    Hope that helps,

  • GSSAPI Error: Server not found in Kerberos database

    Hi all
For about 3 days I'm now seeing this error message in system.log every 3 minutes:
DirectoryService: GSSAPI Error: Miscellaneous failure (Server not found in Kerberos database)
This happens on a fileserver which is connected to an OD server.
I did a search in this forum and found one thread about it. The advice there was to look in kdc.log to see which principal is failing - but I don't have a kdc.log. The other tip was to use kadmin to get a list of the principals by using
    kadmin.local -q listprincs
but what I get instead of this list is:
Authenticating as principal xyz/[email protected] with password.
kadmin.local: No such file or directory while initializing kadmin.local interface
It seems that some file is missing, which would explain why DirectoryService can't find the server in the database... I have to confess that I have no idea as to how Kerberos works or how to configure it.
Authentication against the OD server is working fine, it's just that the errors in the log are getting on my nerves, and they make it difficult to find other, more important messages in system.log.
    Thankas, Tina

Ah, I see, the kdc.log is on the OD server, not on
the file server where I was looking for it.
OK, in the kdc logfile I have a lot of entries like
    these ones:
Kerberos is an auth system where the user authenticates to the kdc and is issued a TGT (Ticket Granting Ticket). The user then presents their TGT and a service principal (Kerberos name of a server) to the kdc to get a service ticket. The user then sends the service ticket to the server who lets the user in.
    Some interpretation:

    UNKNOWN_SERVER: authtime 1143003387,
    [email protected] for krbtgt/[email protected],
Server not found in Kerberos database
This (TGS_REQ) is request for a service ticket from 130.60.23.23 using the
TGT owned by [email protected], to get a service ticket for
krbtgt/[email protected]. It looks like krbtgt/[email protected] is not in your kdc's database. This looks like a cross realm request.
If you are also connected to an active directory system you might see something like this.
    Mar 22 09:19:20 zool09.abc.xy krb5kdc[218](info):
    AS_REQ (7 etypes {18 17 16 23 1 3 2}) 130.60.23.11:

    ISSUE: authtime 1143015560, etypes {rep=16 tkt=16
    ses=16}, [email protected] for
    krbtgt/[email protected]
The AS_REQ's above are the two step authentication process for user [email protected] from 130.60.23.11.

    [email protected] for
    krbtgt/[email protected], Server not
    found in Kerberos database
This is another service ticket request. Though the requested service principal looks malformed, I would look for something misconfigured on 130.60.23.11.
Possibly watch what user zds01 is doing during login to get some idea of what's going on.

    [email protected] for
    krbtgt/[email protected], Server not found

    Same as above.
What do they mean? I didn't set up Kerberos
authentication, I think I don't need it, is there any
way to disable it? Or am I using it without knowing
    it??
When you set up the OD Master, a kdc & the needed files were set up to allow single sign on to all the kerberized services in the system.
    - see if you have an
    /Library/Preferences/edu.mit.Kerberos file
    - Also look for an /etc/krb5.keytab file
Yes, I have both of them.
kadmin.local -q listprincs on the OD server gives me
a long list of computers, users and services like
    this:
I don't know what these all mean... could you give me
    a brief explanation?
    [email protected]
When you create a computer record in Workgroup Manager a generic principal name is added to the kdc for that computer. It is related to the host/computer_name@REALM service principal for servers.
    [email protected]
This is a user principal (this is the account name for the user in the Kerberos system) Sometimes you will see user/admin@REALM.
    afpserver/[email protected]
This is a service principal. They usually are in the form servicetype/server_dnsname@REALM
One of the things that Kerberos is very sensitive to is correct DNS configuration. You need to have both forward (name -> IP) and reverse (IP -> name) DNS set up for all the servers in your realm.
    Hope this helps

  • Uploading & Downloading Files into DMS Server using Web Dynpro Java

    Hello Friends,
I want to Upload a file from Portal to Document Management Server and to Download a file from Document Management Server to Portal,  In short, I want to give the user the facility to Upload a File into DMS Sever via Portal and also to download the file from DMS Sever via Portal.
Can anybody give me a Input for the same from Both Java Development End as well as ABAP End, more inputs are required from ABAP end, since i have a very less ABAP Experience on working with DMS. Few Questions i have in my mind?
    1. How to actually access the file contents with the help of Document Number?
    2. With the help of Doc-Number we can extract the file from DMS sever but to provide a option for downloading in portal, the   RFC should convert the File Contents into X-String or is there some other way?
+3. While Uploading the Data should be given in Which format to RFC? Are there any limitation with respect to size or formats. Is there any Standard RFC i can use directly in WD4 Java application to upload the file into DMS Server and which will return me the Document Number? +
Please give me your valuable inputs.
    Thank You.

  • Avoid storing shopping cart attachment in DMS server

    Hi Experts,
I had an issue in SRM extended classic scenario.  When attaching a scanned copy of manual PR in the shopping cart stores the data in both DMS and filenet server.  Due to image file the DMS server gets hanged due to this overload..
pls guide to to avoid this issue.

    Hi Atul
Thanks for your input, but the client business process is different.  Archieving of file in the DMS is also done, but eventhough it occupies space in the server and getting down the process.
Is there any mandatory requirement for the set up, as all the attachments should go to the external data base (filenet) Via  DMS or can we skip the DMS and save the attachment in the external database server.
Please give some light to proceed further.

  • Post Migration from SP2010 -Attach File Button not working in any list new/edit forms

    Hi,
We have migrated the SharePoint 2010 farm to Sharepoint 2013 on last saturday and we are noticing an interesting issue after the migration .
On any custom list on any web application ,When we create a new item,if we click on attach file button in the ribbon, nothing shows up on the screen.
In the browser Dev Tools its showing an error message as "Cannot read Property style of null".
This is happening on a javascript (form.debug.js) on line No : 5276
    (document.getElementById("partAttachment")).style.display = "block";
There is no element rendered in html with id "partAttachment",which is causing this error to happen.
    Solutions tried are
    1) Modified the List Advanced Settings to disable and enable the attachments ,which did not work
    2) Ran the Sharepoint Configuration wizard which did not fix
3)Tried reset the site definition for all pages in the site from site settings
    4) Deactivated and activated all the activated features in the site collection
Its an OOB List New Form,no customizations has been done.
Similar error occurring with List Edit form as well
when you click on the List Item in the List default view when you navigate to the list and when you click on attach file,a popup dialog to upload attachments appearing,However its not working when you
navigate into the list item and tried to upload attachment.
Please help if any Solutions / thoughts
