DMV quesiton. Can not run the DMV query in non system database.

As the title .I can run following query when I use 'use master' , But don't work at the DB which be created my myself.

Yes, you can run the query under none system database.... Make sure that your db is set 90.....

Can not run the J2EE application on webless iAS

What I thought you meant when you said "Port" was that you were using a Distribution project to move it to other machines. Therefore you have two options to proceed.
1) Copy the nicppaiu.dll from the system folder on your machine to the system folder on another machine you are "Porting" to.
2) Add a project to your solution that is a Setup project. Then add the output of your application to this project and add the MSM discussed earlier. This will create a MSI that can be used to install your application on multiple machines (it still requires a NI-DAQmx install).
There is a good topic in our help named "Deploying Measurement Studio Applications" that tells you everything you need to know.

Can not run the test form using servlet (patch 8)

Installed 9I AS 1.0.2.2.1 and forms patch 8 on Windows 2000.
Configured the Forms Listener Servlet by following the white paper "Forms 6i Patch 8: Oracle Forms Listener Servlet for Deployment of Forms on the Internet".
I can get the page titled Forms 6i Listener Servlet using URL: http://myserver/servlet/oracle.forms.servlet.ListenerServlet.
However, I can not run the test form using the servlet by the url:
http://myserver/servlet/f60servlet?config=servlet. In the formsweb.cfg file I also added a section
[servlet]
serverURL=/servlet/oracle.forms/servlet.ListenerServlet
No meaningful error message. At first it seems very slow, and then shows the "The page can not be displayed" page.
Please advise.

Can not run the calc scripts by mxl, if the first character is Number

I found that if you create the calc scrpt like 1abc.csc. You can not run it by mxl. I tried for times but do not know the reason for that. I found that you can use number in the name of the calc scripts(like abc1.csc, a1bc.csc), but not for the first character(like 1abc.csc).
Below is my mxl scripts:

I agree, if ever there was a "best practice" to developing scripts (especially when using variables) it is to enclose in single quotes. I actually use double quote, single quote.

I can not run the depreciation for particular asset which was not acqustion

                 I have created asset master in july 2010 when i did purchase that asset, but i did not post the asset aqusistion in f-90 up to january. but on remianing all assets i did run the depreciation job on every month. Now in january , i have openend the posting periods from july to march and post that asset aqusisition f-90 in july psoting period., we are using april to march fiscal year.
                  when i am trying to run depreciation job repeat run in afab in test mode from july to december   it showing the error message that, depreciation already done for that proper periods. But in janauary when i am trying to run in test mode, It showing total depreciation amount from july to january , and it hit to only in january month but not to july to december each months.
Now i want to psot the deprectiation for each month of july onwards to january 2010.
    pelase reply how to do run deprecaiton for that particular asset for each month for july to january

Repeat run you can do only for the last depreciation period. For the asset which you are tryin to post depreciation from July to Jan, please check the asset value date which you have given while posting the transactions or in the asset master.
If the asset value date is in July, then deprecaition from July - Jan will get posted in the current month depreciation in total. You will not be able to post depreciation individually month wise using AFAB.

here i have written a program on using package after complieing this program, and run this program i get the error of file not found. can u please gide to run this program.

after writing this program i saved in the folder c:\MyPack\ and run the program from the same folder by using this command first by javac Accounts.java. then, java MyPack.Accounts and i get this error
exception in thread "main" java.lang. No ClassDefFoundError:MyPack/Accounts. even though i made sure i have the java class file in the same folder.

Can we Run the same Query on Infocube and ODS?

There is an ODS A, Currently Query_ABC is created on the ODS A,
The InfoObjects available in the ODS A are also available in the INFOCUBE B.
I want to delete the ODS A, So can we create the Query_ABC on INFOCUBE B.
If so, should i create the Query from scratch or is there any other way to copy the Query_ABC from ODS A to INFOCUBE B.
Please provide your valuable suggestions.

HI,
Actually, Structures appear to be "Global" only within a specifi InfoProvider. If you are using RSZC then you are copying betwee providers, so I would expect that the copy may be having a problem wit the internal ID's associated to the Cells, which are probably derive based on the ID's of the rows and columns.
Since the Structures don't exist in the destination, or don't have the sam ID's then these pieces cannot be rebuilt in the copied query.
You could try this to get around having to rebuild:
1) In your source query make a copy in the same provider and remove the Ro and/or Column Named structure references (you don't delete the structure just make the query so it doesn't reference it). You do this b right-clicking on the structure name in the query, and chose the optio 'Remove reference'. This will make your query as if these details wer built directly in the query. Save this revised query.
2) Copy the revised query to your destination. Since all components wil contain internal ID's without reference to any external component (Structures) it should be able to copy everything.
You can then re-save the Row and/or Column definitions as structure associated to the destination InfoProvider, if you wish.

The Report is already added to the reports node in the form moudule.

The problem is that the FIND_REPORT_OBJECT call is not finding the report object. Do you already have this object defined in the Form?

I had the same problem on Win XP (Home) and Firework MX after
a
complete reinstall of my system.
There might be two triggers for the problem
1. I used my regular user account to install most of the
programs and
downgraded it afterwards to a limited user account! This
seems to be a
bad idea at all!!! Several programs (incl. Outlook, etc.)
failed to
start afterwards, because of corrupted user rights (i.e. no
read/write
access even for the owner of the files). Allways use an admin
account
for installing - don't change the rights of your regular
account for
that.
2. I restored my old macromedia configuration files (located
in "Lokale
Einstellungen\<user>\Anwendungsdaten\Macromedia\Fireworks
MX") by
copying them directly or using the windows "sicherung"
(ntbackup). I
found that the user and group information for that files were
empty!
Solution:
- I completely uninstalled the mx suite (probably fireworks
would be
enough) and in addition to that
- removed all directories not deleted by the installer and
- cleaned the registry manually from some "Fireworks"
entries. !!Be
careful with that!! Have a look at this reg-key first:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\Fireworks
You probably don't have to delete all the "Edit with
Fireworks" entries
and file associations.
I hope this might help a little.
By the way - I used the cygwin shell and the "ls", "chmod"
and "chusr"
commands to detect and change the user rights of files. This
was the
appropriate solution for the problems with all other
programs.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Can not run the java

It is very annoying when I type java at the prompt. It gives the following error.
Error: could not open `C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\i386\jvm.cfg'
Initially, a variable, qtjava was pointing to this path.
There was an entry i classpath for qtjava and there was a variable qtjava as well. I removed both of these. There is not qtjava in the list of set now but still when I type java, it displays the above error.
how this is being invoked when I try to run java?
Can any one give me some idea why this is hapening? and how to remove? the new java\jdk\bin is in the path? does it have to be in classpath ?

Thank you very much for your reply and link. There was an entry in registry. I am not sure how and why. Once I clean that and reboot the laptop, it is working now.
I have a few more questions. I am kind of new to java. In fact I have worked a bit in the past but have left for long. So, I am now trying to revive and plannign to go in it as java technology alludes me always. It is not affected due to econymy or other technology.

I would export the rule to essbase and test it there. I should run and the log will tell you something. I would also look at the business rules log to see what it says.
