DN always forwarding to VMail

Hello all,
I have DN=1000...everytime i call it i go directly to vmail...i tried deleting the phone/DN re-adding...same thing...any ideas?
TIA

Make sure that you do not have an unassigned DN 1000, go to Route Plan and make a search for the Unassigned DN's, delete all the results.
If the problem persists, take a CCM detailed trace and uploade it, include the Calling party number, called party (1000) and time of the call.

  • EAP Response frame is not always forwarded to the Radius Server when doing Full Authentications.

    We have seen issues with a Cisco 5500 and 2405 WLAN controller with older and the latest controller firmware(8.x) of not forwarding the first EAP Response frame to the radius server on 802.1x WLAN devices doing full authentications. The first EAP Response frame from the WLAN client is supposed to be forwarded to the Radius server but a Wireshark trace shows that frame is never sent by the WLAN controller. The WLAN controller does ack the first EAP Response frame but the EAP response frame when the problem occurs always seems to be a retried packet.   I do have all RRM and AP scanning turned off. This is an intermittent issue and only occurs on devices doing full authentications and does occur on multiple vendors products. This produces a 18-20 second drop-off until the station recovers by sending an EAP-Start frame and then it associates properly. Since the first EAP Response frame is never forwarded to the Radius server and the EAP Response frame is being ack’d on the retried packet, this seems to be a WLAN controller issues but I’m looking at all possibilities. Does anyone have any thoughts?
    I attached a wireless and wired trace of the issue. See the Readme.txt file in the attachment for specific information.
    Thanks in advance.

    Do you have a packet capture to see this ? If so pls attach it

  • Unity 4.0 - Call Forwarding and Voice Mail

    Here is the situation:
    We have a DN (5301) that is not associated with a Unity mailbox but is on a 7970 phone. This extension is an "on call" number that is always forwarded to a technicans phone (local 4 digit ext or cell phone).
    When a person calls 5301 I want the voicemail of the final destination to answer.
    For instance if I had 5301 forwarded to 2000 - I would want 2000's voicemail to answer.
    Is there a way to set this up?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,
    Sadly this cannot be changed until Unity 5.x (the ability to choose "Last Redirecting Number" in not available in any other Unity version);
    Here are the Unity 5.0 release notes;
    Route Forwarded Calls by the First or Last Redirecting Number
    Cisco Unity supports the option of routing calls based on either the first or last redirecting number when a call is forwarded to Cisco Unity.
    Note the following:
    This option requires Cisco Unity-CM TSP 8.1(2) or later.
    This option is not supported by integrations through PIMG units.
    This option can be changed through the Advanced Settings Tool (AST), which is available in Tools Depot.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/release/notes/501curelnotes.html#wp507371
    Call Information Exchanged by the Phone System and Cisco Unity
    The phone system and Cisco Unity exchange call information to manage calls and to make the integration features possible. With each call, the following call information is typically passed between the phone system and Cisco Unity:
    •The extension of the called party.
    •The extension of the calling party (for internal calls) or the phone number of the calling party (if it is an external call and the phone system supports caller ID).
    •The reason for the forward (the extension is busy, does not answer, or is set to forward all calls). There is also a reason code for Direct Calls.
    Cisco Unified Communications Manager SCCP and SIP trunk integrations can also provide the following call information (the choice of first and last redirecting number is set in the Advanced Settings Tool, which is available in Tools Depot):
    •Called number
    •First redirecting number
    •Last redirecting number
    Note Cisco Unity can use either the first redirecting number or last redirecting number, depending on the setting in the Advanced Settings Tool, which is available in Tools Depot.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/design/guide/5xcudg060.html#wp1040786
    If this was just a one-up type of setup you can configure a Voicemail profile (in CCM) for 2000 and apply it to 5301 that will allow this type of Call Forward to 2000's mailbox. The fact that you need this for Multiple Tech's will not work. Is there any way the Techs could use a Shared Line? Then these solutions could be adapoted.
    Or in Unity set up Alternate Extensions so that User A is an Alternate Extension for User B etc. Sharing a Cisco Unity Voice Mail Box between Two or More IP Phones
    Configure Alternate Extensions
    Open the Unity System Administrator web page.
    Navigate to the subscriber's profile. Select Subscribers > Find and Select a Subscriber > Enter Subscriber Information then click Find and click the Subscriber's name for the subscriber that owns the primary phone (2000).
    When the subscriber page comes up, select the Alternate Extensions option and click Add.
    Enter the alternate extension number (in this case 5301) and click the Save icon.
    From this good Unity doc;

  • When I try to forward a PDF file by using the email button on the toolbar, it won't send.

    I cannot always forward a PDF using the email button on the toolbar.  For example, I get a report forwarded to me as a link.  When I open the link, the document opens as a PDF.  I use the email button on the toolbar to forward the document as an attachment.  Outlook pops up as a new message with the attachment.  I finish writing my email and hit the "send" button and I get an error saying the doucment couldn't be sent.  If I close the email and save it as a draft, I can open the draft copy and it will send.  Is there someway to fix this so I can eliminate these extra steps?  This has happened on a computer with Adobe Reader as well as a computer with Adobe Acrobate 9 Standard.

    teresah7680 wrote:

    Is that the exact message that Outlooks gives you?
    Anyway, why don't you just forward the original link to the document, instead of the PDF itself?

  • No email address when forwarding

    Every time I forward an email, in the to: section the name of the person will just show up (from email I'm forwarding) their email address is not showing up next to it though like it should be. Please help, I am always forwarding emails to my assistants and they need to know who to email back.

    Can you please explain more clearly what you're needing, I don't understand.

  • Mail.app forwarding loses original sender's address?

    I've used MacOS X from the start, but only started using mail.app with the release of 10.7.
    I forwarded an incoming message to a colleague from mail.app, with the request that he reply to it.  He emailed back, "I can't, the original sender's address isn't included."
    He sent back what he received from me, including all (?) headers. No sign of the original sender's address.
    In  forwarding from previous mail s/w I've used, it seems to me, the original sender's address is always forwarded.
    Did I (or my colleague) miss something?
    Does mail.app NOT routinely forward the original sender's address?
    If this is the case is there a way to defeat this behavior?  (What's the point of forwarding a message unless the new recipient can reply?)
    Of course, the workaround is to manually copy-and-paste the address into the forwarded message.
    TIA

    In my mail app on my iPad if I reply to an email the reply email has the name of the individual and enclosed in<> is the original senders email address in the body of the email.
    Or are you expecting the original sender to appear in the to from cc area of the email. If that's where you want it type the first few letters of the senders name and the address should pop up to allow you to insert it.

  • Forwarding VS. C-Name???

    I am not a trained webmaster so take it easy on my terminology.
    Ok- I have purchased a domain and put together an iweb site. I called Godaddy to get c-name instructions on how to implement that. The tech guy said it is better to just forward my domain name to the .mac address and do a domain mask. Because if I do the c-name change people have to put the www in front of my address to get there, and if my address changes at all my site will not be found if using a c-name. So what is better and WHY.

    I called Godaddy to get c-name instructions on how to implement that.
    Here is some info so maybe you won't have to ask them again:
    http://help.godaddy.com/topic/163/article/4100#CNAME
    The tech guy said it is better to just forward my domain name to the .mac address and do a domain mask.
    That will give you the same url for every page of your site. Is that OK with you?
    Because if I do the c-name change people have to put the www in front of my address to get there
    You can always forward the short version of your name to the www version to avoid that problem.

  • Difference Between Port Forwarding and Port Triggering.

    Hi guys,
    I'm lost! The differences between port forwarding and port triggering is driving me nuts! It all seems very subtle to me. Can anyone explain to me (in a very simple way) what exactly are their differences. Thanks in advance!!

    Port Forwarding
    The big difference between this and port triggering is that forwarding is fixed.. you forward a port and it is always forwarded.. IE available to connection.. basically the forwarded port is excluded from the fire walling abilities of the router.  Second it is static and applies to one machine only. Whereas you could set port triggering to the router and thereafter any machine on the LAN can trigger it unless its already in use.. port forwarding must be specified for each individual machine.
    Port forwarding requires you to give each PC on the network its own unique static IP address.. Although there is ssh port forwarding that can be set dynamically. Most users only have the option of static ip port forwarding.
    The real downside of port forwarding is that it can be very tricky to set up... You may have to allow a series of ports on a machine and have to do that for each machine you want to allow through. Also routers often have limited abilities and may not allow you the ability to forward a port or select the service you require.
    Port Triggering
     This is a way of Dynamically assigning a service to a port WHEN it is required by an outgoing service. The port is initially not allowed so nothing can get in and you are protected by your network.
    A good example of this is when using Yahoo! voice .. the voice works fine for a few minutes after you connect to Yahoo! then Yahoo! sends some kind of packet that requires a response from your PC... The packet is allowed in through your router no prob but the outgoing reply is not authorized to open a port on the router and is thus blocked.

  • How do u make new folders in mail when I press edit only move delete or mark comes up nowhere can u make new folder

    I can't make new folder in mail on my normal acc or icloud

    If you are in desperation for folders you could set up an imap account such as Gmail or Hotmail, create whatever folders you want, add the account to your iPad, send the emails you want to categorise to your new email address and manage them from within. You could also consider gradually making the new email address your future one thus eliminating the need to be always forwarding and thus creating duplicates in a sense. Might be a bit clumsy but it is a work around!

    Here are (or will be eventually) our Top 10 FAQs:
    1. My hard drive crashed, how do I restore a site from my iDisk/published folder? How do I backup my iWeb site(s)? How do I transfer my iWeb work to another computer? How do I transfer my old website made in Homepage/another html editor to iWeb?
    Your iWeb data is stored, not in your actual html files, but in a file called Domain.sites, which is stored in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. You should backup this file whenever you make big changes to your site, because if it gets lost or damaged, you will have to start all over. For more info, try these links:
    http://homepage.mac.com/thgewecke/iwebdata.html
    http://web.mac.com/will.englefield/iWeb/WillG4PB/Where.html
    http://web.mac.com/will.englefield/iWeb/WillG4PB/Backup.html
    Important: You CANNOT restore an iWeb site from the published html pages in your iDisk or a published folder. Publishing to a folder is NOT a backup. You CANNOT use iWeb to edit existing web sites/pages created in other applications.
    If you want to move your Domain.sites file to another computer, try putting it on a flash drive. Be sure to keep a current copy on the flash drive if you plan to move it back and forth between two or more computers. For more info, try these links:

    2. I am having trouble publishing to .Mac. What’s wrong?
    Keep trying! Publishing errors come and go over time. Don’t give up, and don’t do anything drastic! For more info, look here:

    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303927
    3. How do I find my iWeb site on .Mac?
    Your site is published to the “Web” folder on your iDisk. The address for this site is
    http://web.mac.com/yourusername
    If you have more than one site, they will be located at
    http://web.mac.com/yourusername/iWeb/nameofsite1
    http://web.mac.com/yourusername/iWeb/nameofsite2
    etc etc etc…
    The index.html file for your “short URL” (http://web.mac.com/yourusername) will always forward to site1, which will be the top site in your site organizer (column on the left hand side in iWeb).

    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iWeb/1.1/en/bld1082.html
    4. How can I keep more than one site but only work on/publish one at a time?
    Yes, but this requires some “domain splitting” – duplicating the Domain.sites file and slimming down each copy to contain only one site. More info and some instructions are available here:
    http://web.mac.com/mark8heaton/iWeb/DomainSeparation
    Also, here is a free application called iWebSites that will help automate switching from one domain to another:

    5. How do I add _ to my iWeb page? Where can I find additional help?
    You can add just about anything you could add to a regular website to an iWeb site, if you don’t mind doing some post-publish editing of your html files.
    You can open the html files generated by iWeb in any text or html editor. In TextEdit, to view the code in an HTML file, choose File > Open and select "Ignore rich text commands." Then locate the .html file and click Open.
    Here’s how to find your html files:
    If you publish to dot mac, mount your idisk using the "go" menu in Finder. This will place your idisk on the desktop.
    Then go to iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/Sitename/Pagename.html
    If you publish to a folder, try looking in your Sites folder of your home folder.
    If you don’t want to look at the html code yourself, try MassReplaceIt (http://www.hexmonkeysoftware.com), a free find/replace utility.

  • Creating a new item in application Personalize Page

    Hi all,
    I've created a new item from the application's personalize page. There are a few questions I want to ask about this new item I've created.
    1. I know that the page has different regions as there is more than one controller class for that page(visually). If I use oapagecontext.getParameter("Item ID"), will that give me the item's value even if it is in a different controller?
    2. When I create a new item using the application's personalize page, does it automatically update the relevant xml in $FND_TOP/mds repository? Or does it only update it during run time?
    Cheers

    Hi there,
    it still seems unable to do what i want. The code I'm using right now is this
    I've created a new MessageTextInput item from the application and gave it the ID of xxActiveTo. I also made the view attribute of "ActiveTo" and attribute set of /oracle/apps/jtf/resource/attributesets/JtfRsResourceExtns/EndDateActive.
    **code **
    String temp = oapagecontext.getParameter("xxActiveTo");
    if (temp != "22-Aug-2006")
    setforwardurl (xxxxxx);
    When i see the field I enter 22-Aug-2006 and then press the button. However, it always forwards to the url as in setforwardurl.
    I know I'm getting the wrong value but I don't exactly know why
    Please help

  • Transaction happens twice.

    Transaction happens twice.
    I need two files to demonstrate this
    File 1.) index.jsp
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>
    <%@ page contentType="image/svg-xml" %>
    <svg >
    <text x="200" y="100" stroke="navy" >GPro</text>
    </svg>
    File 2.)
    public class Account extends HttpServlet {
    protected void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res) throws ServletException,IOException {
         System.out.println("Login5");
    RequestDispatcher disp=req.getRequestDispatcher("/pages/index.jsp");
         disp.forward(req,res);
    The servlet doesnt do anything but always forwards the request to an SVG document.
    The problem,
    When I call this method width the following URL:
    http://servername/Account?a=1
    http://servername/Account?a=2
    http://servername/Account?a=3
    You always have to have different URL to see this result in the log file:
    [02.04.16 10:22:33:500 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 10:22:33:609 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 10:22:53:875 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 10:22:53:953 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 10:23:10:375 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 10:23:10:500 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    The servlet executed twice .
    This happens always when I use IE 5.5 sp2 and Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0
    It is working well with Netscape 4.08
    I have the following in the log file
    [02.04.16 11:05:15:187 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 11:05:24:796 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 11:05:38:312 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    [02.04.16 11:05:44:328 MDT] 3d74e6fe SystemOut U Login5
    You may see it never happens twice.
    Id like to know what your opinion about this.
    Thank you,
    Jozsef Bodnar

    Thanks,
    Unfortunately, the bug is somewhere else.
    I just used a very simple test program no javascript nothing and I just typed those URLs in the address bar.
    Last time I tried this: ( this is the doGet method of my test servlet and nothing more );
    PrintWriter out=res.getWriter();
    String s="<?xml version='1.0' standalone='yes'?>"
    +"<svg >"
         +"<text x='200' y='100' stroke='navy' >GPro</text>"
         +"</svg>";
    out.print(s);
    out.flush(); out.close();
    There is nothing special here and the servlet got executed twice if I used explorer.
    It seems to me the SVG viewer for some reason tries to revalidate the document .

  • Edit Polygon Path in Acrobat 9 Pro

    Can I edit a pre-existing polygon path in Acrobat 9 Pro (add/delete points)   I cannot find the menu which would alloe me to do this.

    I actually made an account just to reply an answer to this question. It turns out that Adobe just isn't able to develop this feature at this time. You see, with so little income from the Adobe Acrobat product line, and with such a small market share, they just don't have the revenue stream to support continued development of features. They have just barely enough revenue to move icons around in each release, change the names of features, and improve overall customer satisfaction by ensuring their products are always forward comparable with the most recent hardware to encourage hardware upgrades and innovation in computer speeds. They just don't have the resources to thoroughly user-test their software. They can't possibly be expected to consider any user-cases in their software design or plans for future software. It explains why users have been asking Adobe to add a reasonably small set of features to their software for at least a decade, but instead, new and more complex menu systems have been designed to provide users with more places to click, and more ways to find previously non-hidden features. It's fun! It's like playing a scavenger hunt with every new release!

  • Problem with dual buttons on a form

    Hello -
    I have a single form with two buttons, currently named
    'Button1' and 'Button2'. Both buttons lead through the default
    DW/php code to update database records (in MySQL), but I want the
    page redirect after updating to be determined by which button was
    pushed.
    I am using $_GET['ButtonName'] to direct action based on
    which button was used to submit the form. Unfortunately, I can't
    seem to redirect the page where I want.
    The code I am using is:
    =======
    if (isset($_GET['Button1'])) {
    $updateGoTo = "edit_onepage.php";
    } else {
    $updateGoTo = "account.php";
    ========
    If the user submits using Button1, I want them forwarded to
    "edit_onepage.php". If he submits using Button2, I want him
    forwarded to "account.php". Unfortunately, no matter how I fiddle
    with this code, the form is always forwarding to "account.php",
    regardless of which button is pushed.
    Can anyone see what I am missing here? Thanks in advance for
    your advice.

    Oops! Found my own mistake. It works if I retrive the button
    information with '$_POST', not '$_GET'. I'll leave this up in case
    anyone else has a similar porblem.

  • Flex 3.0 Charting

    An issue which I was expecting to be trivial ended up becomin a nightmare:  Using Flex Charting with Flex 3 builder.
    During the release of Flex 2.0, the charting library was released as a sperate licensable component.  As such, a seperate license key was required to enable charting.  WIthout the charting license key, all charts would display a watermark indicating that it is an evaluation version.  Flex 2 builder licensing manager form had a seperate edit box for the charting license.  Once the license was provided, the watermarks would go away.
    Moving on to Flex 3, the seperate chartin license edit box is no longer present.  Running a charting application within the Flex 3 builder produces the evaluation watermark.  After consaiderable search, I stumbled upon http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403860.html, indicating that once the license.properties file is updated, all should work just fine.
    Well ... it did'ntwork for me.
    I attempted the following:
    1. Update the license.properties file as recommended by BK403860;  the watermarks did not go away.
    2. Copy the license file from th Flex 2 Builder section; the watermarks did not go away.
    3. Sam as #2 above, but replacing the flexbuilder license with the Flex 3 license number; the watermarks did not go away.
    4. Uninstall and reinstall Flex 3; the watermarks did not go away.
    Today, at 10am, I called Adobe support.  I was on the phone until 1:50pm, on and off hold, forwarded in circles through a dozen different individuals, and no answer.  No one seem to know who the correct person is.  I called the technical support number, and I was still goingin circles: I was always forwarded to a different department.  In one case I was told Adobe does not support this product anymore.  Can this be?
    HELP!
    Is there anybody who could help getting the Flex Charting component to remove the watermarks with the Flex 3 builder?
    Eddie

    Are you using Flex Builder 3 Professional?  Only the fb3 Pro serial will unlock charting, not Standard.
