DNA sim tray won't eject

Just received new DNA (ordered online). First step in guide is to install the SIM card. The tool for opening the tray was included in the box & I had tried & tried to use it but the tray will not eject. Even read online to insert tool & hold latch down. Tried that too to no avail. Please help!

BD Burner tray won't eject

I have a new quad and bought the LG GGW-H20L BD burner and installed it. The tray will not clear the computer on ejection. I figured out that I could pop off the drives face plate and thought I was golden, but the drive still doesn't clear the computers door. It looks like it may on the left side but there is a tab on the right that is a bit higher and it won't clear that. Anyone else experience this?
Before I took off the faceplate I was trying to take out the whole optical door assembly in the computer. There is one screw on the closet side to the you when looking in but I couldn't find what was holding it on the other side. I took out the plate in back that covers the cabling and used a mirror to look... I still don't see a screw or anything holding it in.
Help! I wanna burn some BD data discs.

Seems like a very fine drive, but when I went to the manufacturers site I couldn't find it. Perhaps you'll be able to get it to fit. Perhaps having it done at an apple store would be a good idea. I just hope that it's dimensions will in fact line up with those of the standard Apple drive. Maybe a call to NewEgg will get you some info.

Drivers? You made not need any. But if you do they should have come on a disk with the drive or perhaps you can download them from the site above. Good luck.

Sounds like the SIM was not cut properly.... likely not much that can be done short of opening the device if the SIM tray will not eject.

Use a small thin piece of plastic (metal tools are likely to scratch the case) and work along the seams of the tray. In all likelihood your tool is unlocking it but the tray itself is a bit gummed up, jammed. Be patient, don't force things, and you'll probably get it open in short order.

Why I can't insert the eject tool into my ipad 4's sim tray

I have an iPad 4 wi-fi cellular
I want to ejec it's SIM tray but I can't push the eject tool into that tiny hole.It seems like there is no space for it.It just goes straight down and I can't insert it in a 45 degrees angle.

Give it a little push. If the tray still doesn't open I'd stop by the Apple Store and let them have a look.

Press firmly and push either the sim eject tool or a small paperclip straight in until the tray pops out.
If that doesn't work make an appointment at an Apple store.

CD tray will not eject CD

I have a user who's CD tray will not eject a CD unless she relaunches the Finder. then it works until next CD is inserted. Won't eject until Finder is relaunched!
this is a G4 desktop with 10.4.6 loaded. the latest Quicktime was loaded and this is when problem started.
she's tried dragging the icon to trash, the eject button on keyboard, and eject under File menu. Nothing works until Finder is relaunched.
Any ideas?

I had this same problem with my PowerBook. Disk Utility would eject the disk, but nothing else. As I plodded through the normal steps (DiskWarrior, TechTool, etc) I found that disks ejected normally when I booted from my external drive that had Panther on it. This was good news because it eliminated the hardware possibility. So the hunt shifted to find what was different between the two setups. I finally remembered a utility called OnyX that lets you change lots of things like menus, etc. Very handy, and one of the things it has is a checkbox that says "Show Eject Item in File Menu". I figured I would never use that when I could just push a button, so I unchecked it. Surprise! It turns out that unchecking that box did away with Cmd-E, disabled the eject button and also the dragging to trash option. I re-checked it and all is well. So, boot from another drive or a CD or something before you buy a new drive and look for software problems. Good luck!

Force eject a stuck cd/dvd
First try the normal methods to remove the disc. Drag its icon to the Trash can in the Dock or select 'Eject' from the File menu.
If you are running a virtual machine, e.g. VMFusion, ensure that the CD is disconnected from the virtual machine. This will sometimes allow the CD to now show up in Mac OS X.
Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared.
If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar.
Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder
Open Disc utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button.
Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism.
Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray.
If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

Can't Open micro SIM tray on iPad 2

I was going to change the micro SIM card from my iPad to my new iPad2. I was able to open the SIM tray on the iPad with no problem, but on the iPad2 the SIM tray tool acts as if it's too big and won't go completely in the hole. I tried one from my iPhone and it's the same thing. Is anyone else having this issue?

The design is slightly different. Put iPad2 face down (use towel or something to protect screen if you don't have a Smart Cover or the like). Don't insert the Sim tool in sideways, but rather at a slight angle to follow the curve of the back.

SIM of an iPad is located about 2 inches from the bottom at portrait view (not landscape view) on the same side of the volume button.
Use a needle to poke into the tiny hole of the SIM tray. With one swift pull, you should be able to eject the SIM tray. It could fly off if you pull too hard. So be careful of your strength of pulling.

Okay so my i just got my new iphone 4 from sprint and sprint has the sim tray locked theres no hole on the side or anything and i was wondering if i took it to the apple store can i get it unlocked or another iphone with a open and close sim tray

sprint shouldnt have locked the sim tray anyways and i think this is just wrong because i payed for the phone and should be able to do what i want with it. they say you can unlock the sim card or the tray i guess if you in good standings with the company an apperantly im not so i was wondering if somthing can be done about this because i see no hole or anything to even open the tray someone HELP ME ! please and thank you

No. Nothing can be done about this. It was made clear quite some time ago what the situation was going to be.
Now... That said, if you have an iPhone 4S, there is a SIM tray on the right hand side of the phone.
If you have an iPhone 4 as you indicate, THERE IS NO SIM TRAY. The iPhone 4 is NOT a world Phone. You can only use that phone on Sprint or roam to their CDMA partners where present. The phone will not work at all throughout most of the world, including Europe.
