DND to external Javascript Application

Hello
I was wondering if it is possible to drag elements from a RAP Tree widget into an external Javascript application, which is running in a Browser widget?
So far I tried using the same Tree in a RCP application, which worked.
DND on the Tree itself works in RAP too, but as soon as an element is dragged outside of the Tree, the drop is blocked.
Is it not supported?

Hi Flavio,
to make the things clear - you want to drag a TreeItem to external JS
application (not RAP based) loaded in Browser widget? And this approach
is working in RCP? Right? Unfortunately, this is currently not possible
in RAP. Could you provide a simple snippet/project to demonstrate this
functionality.

External Javascript not working with C# and XAML windows phone app

I've added a WebView into my project. If I navigate to the html file that contains external javascript files they don't work. Bit if I write the javascript code hardcoded into the html file it works properly.
Here is the html portion:

but if the javascript code worked it would show

And in the C# code the uri is called this way:

Error when starting Firefox 3.6. "Javascript Application error. Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get this error, try entering your email address as your username." Any suggestions on what to look for to resolve this?

When starting Mozilla Firefox 3.6, I get an error window which opens up additionally overtop my browser windows stating:
"Javascript Application"
followed with :
"Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get this error, try entering your email address as your username."
Obviously it is happening with one of my email addresses/usernames & password combinations of which I know the username for (which I choose not to post here) and I'm not sure where to begin looking for a resolution to this problem.

I was able to resolve this by disabling (under Tools - Add-ons) Yahoo! Mail Notifier

When I double click on the Firefox icon, a box pops up heading Javascript Application and inside is the error message as detailed above. The box offers only one option "OK" and once I click on that the program works well. I access emails online and when I click on the respons button or to send a new email, the same error message pops up.

Just like the title says, starting with Firefox 4 Beta 6 or 7, I forgot. Any time I try to open a new blank tab (sometimes even when I start up Firefox and the app tabs load) I get an error that says "JavaScript Application - Reference Error: XPCSafeJSObjectWrapper is not defined" If I close it everything works as normal again (until I open a new tab) but it is very annoying to have to do this. How to Use Mobile Service in HTML/JavaScript Application

The Windows Azure Mobile Service is a back end tool for mobile applications. It supports various platforms, such as Windows Store, Windows Phone 8, iOS and Android. The Windows Azure
Mobile service can also support HTML/JavaScript. This article helps you to get a basic idea of how to use the Windows Azure Mobile Service in HTML/JavaScript applications.
Let us start with a Quick startup project provided by Microsoft. A Quick startup is a simple demo project that can help us to understand how to use the Windows Azure Mobile Service with HTML/JavaScript. So let's start from the Quick startup project.
Login into in the Windows Azure portal and use the following procedure.
This article assumes you already have a Windows Azure account and the mobile service is enabled in your account.
1. Create a new Windows Azure Mobile Service
Click on the +New button from the left corner and select Compute -> Mobile Service and then click on the "Create" button.
The Windows Azure portal popup creates a mobile service wizard when you click the Create button. Windows Azure asks you to enter the mobile service name as shown in the following image:
Select the database options and region for your mobile service and click on the "Next" button.
Once your mobile service is successfully created, the portal will show all your mobile services as shown in the following images.
Ok! We have created a new mobile service successfully. Let's move to our subsequent steps.
1. Quick startup Project
As we all know, the Windows Azure Mobile Service can support many platforms such as Windows Store, Windows Phone 8, iOS, Android and HTML/JavaScript. This article only tells us about the new HTML/JavaScript platform that is recently added to the Windows Azure
Mobile Service.
In the image above, we are in the quick startup page where the Windows Azure Mobile Service allows the user to choose their platform. I have selected the HTML/JavaScript Platform.
In the image above, we found 3 quick steps that can allow us to run <g class="gr_ gr_74 gr-alert gr_gramm Grammar" data-gr-id="74" id="74">a HTML/JavaScript</g> sample project.
1. Create Table: In this step the user needs to create a table that can used by the sample project, once you hit the create TodoItem Table button. The Portal will create a TodoItem table in your mobile service. You
can check this table by clicking on the data tab(menu).
2. Download and run your app: In this step the user needs to download the Quick startup project that is provided by the Windows Azure portal. Click on the "Download" button and download the project. You will
see the following files in the quick startup project.
The Server folder contains some files to setup this project locally. The user should run the file from the server folder corresponding to their OS. I am using Windows OS so I ran the <g class="gr_ gr_80 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace"
data-gr-id="80" id="80">lanch</g>-<g class="gr_ gr_79 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="79" id="79">windwos</g> file to setup this project locally in
IISExpress.
Press r and enter the key, you will see IISExpress started. Do not close this Windows and open your browser and request the http://localhost:8000/ page.
Enter the Item name and click on the add button. Your Item will be added to the TodoItem table.
3. Configure your host name: This step is a very important step for any HTML/JavaScript application that uses the Windows Azure Mobile Service. In this <g class="gr_ gr_83 gr-alert gr_gramm Punctuation only-ins
replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="83" id="83">step</g> the user must register their website name in the Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS). By default, "localhost" is added by the Windows Azure Mobile Service
so your quick startup project can run without making any CORS setting changes. The user can add their website domain name by clicking on the configure tab (menu).
The user can add as many website domain names as needed.

I'm getting a persistent "JavaScript Application" popup notice that is difficult to close. The problem just started today, and I can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions?

The offending popup reads:
[JavaScript Application]
(yellow triangle with an exclamation point) followed by the words "uninstal set"
Note: the spelling of uninstall is as shown above.

Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything in the Extensions category that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

How can I fix the problem of a pop up window that appears every time firefix loads titled [Javascript Application] and says "balance.balance is undefined"

The small "[Javascript Application] and balance.balance is undefined" pop up window is followed by a pop up that shows a caution sign and the number 3. They repeatedly pop back up when I click on the OK button or X, I must click them 10 times before they go away. Then Firefox seems to run normally until I exit and try to return later to Firefox.
I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with no effect. I have also run any troubleshooter that seemed to remotely refer to this problem with no effect.
This does not happen when I load Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Except for this problem, I much prefer Firefox over either one.

I had this problem too, drove me crazy until my son figured out that it was just Firefox (we also use Internet Explorer)...I looked on the help site & immediately saw that others had the same problem.
First I did the "DISABLE Java Console 6.0.22" that did not work, so I disabled the Yahoo toolbar (as another user had mentioned). I don't know if it was just the last thing, or both...but the annoying pop up is gone! Yaaay! It only took a few minutes.

had this problem but now sorted.
Go to settings for google shortcuts, follow link to homepage and upload latest version, it has not yet been approved by Firefox, but works and solves the bug.

How to hide url of third party external/partner application

I have a third party external oracle application arcims by the esri corporation that I have on a test portal.
It has it's own password authentication. In order to have sso work i have to turn off its password request.
The problem is that the URL address shows in the portal. Anyone could simply type in the URL and access the application directly and bypass the portal login. Can One hide or wrap the URL in portal? If so HOW is that done?

Since you'va already made Java non-portable by using Runtime, you're probably bbest off using the OS's capabilities to find the program's path.
If the 3rd party program was always contained in Java's classpath list, you could use Class.getResource().

I updated Firefox to 4.0 and now I keep getting a box that says its a JavaScript Application and inside the box it says "Uninstal Set". What do i do???

I keep getting more and more of them at a time and its annoying me! Everytime I try to open a page in firefox or do anything this happens.
