DNG converter error message

Using LR 2.7. Can't import raw files from my brother's memory card (Nikon D7100 I believe). Have downloaded DNG converter, and am fairly sure I have done everything correctly except I get this message: "The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files" when trying to convert. I have tried every level of compatibility under preferences. Any idea what I am doing wrong, or what I can do to view my pictures? I should have insisted he shot in jpeg. :-(

You should single-click the name of the folder with the raw files not double-click into that folder.
Also you should probably copy the files from the memory card to the local hard-drive using Windows Explorer or Finder before running the DNG Converter on the files.
I think you’ll need to use the oldest compatibility option: ACR 2.4 although you could try 4.1 and see if things work with that.

it's not possible to customize every message in SAP System to warning or error.
It depends on the coding. I have found message QA495 twice in coding, both times it's hard coded in Inlcude MM07MQSS. So it's not possible in standard to change this.
How to find this information:
SE91
-> enter the message
-> button 'display'
-> select the line
-> button 'where-used list' (CRTLSHIFTF3)
-> now you get a list of all programms where the message is used
Now you can check if message type is hard coded or read in customizing.
If you really want this you have to modifiy the coding. But I would not recommed this, as hard coded errors are necessary to make sure that the standard scenarios work correctly.

Converting error message to warning in ME22n

In ME22n i am not able to delete one material line item,as its displays" Invoices pending for delivery costs (function not possible)",

DNG converter error NEF- DNG

I'm using the latest version of adobe DNG converter (6.6.0.261) to try and convert my .NEF files to .DNG so that I can use my Macbeth Color Checker on them. I keep getting an "error parsing the file" message. I had used an older version of DNG converter (6.5.0.218) previously and it converted no problem. NEF is a supported file type and I believe that the files are not corrupted. How can I solve this problem?

Converting Error message to warning.

Hi. I need to convert an error message that exist in SAP 4.7 to a warning message. I am doing this for IT 2001 (absences). Does anybody know where I can find the config for the error messages? Thanks.

U can do this in table V_T554S by selecting in absence inputcheck screen. Different F4 values are provided in different options just select W insted of E.

Convert Error message to warning message

Hi Experts ,
At the time of creating RFx we are getting an Error message "Delivery date is before the submission deadline 19.07.2011; check item 0001"
Now I want to change the Message type from Error to Warning ..

I feel that this message cannot be switched to warning, since it is against the RFX process to publish it with an earlier delivery date.
I also 100% agree with you that, it should be a error message and it may not be changed to a warning message...
However I have a similar issue with some other message, could you please visit How to remove warning message "you are offerring itemxxxx for free"? and put your valuable answer?

Hi,
Certain Error messages are not passed to be changed to warning message eventhough you maintained proper customization for the same. I can only recommend you that neutralize the balance of Gl account and change if reporting is accepted.

Need to convert Error message to Warning message in MIGO

Hi Guys,
I need a warning message instead of error message in MIGO.
For example if a material is having shell life expiry when i am doing GR,if I dont enter the Manufacturing date.Its gives a error meesage.
The error message is in program MM07MMHD, MESSAGE e018(12).
In configuration when i press F4 its has only one value 'E'.
So how to change this to warning (W) instead of 'E'.

Check the message in these T.Code and change category from E to W.
OPJB for production messages
OBA5 for CO messages
OMT4 for material master messages
OMCQ Batch and quantity related.
Also you can check SE91 for this.

HT203164 Converting error message: "the file name was invalid or too long?""

Any ideas about how to handle this block to importing CDs into iTunes? It appeared suddenly, I think after updating iTunes. Disk Drive is OK per iTunes diagnostic. I also have tried to "repair" iTunes in Programs section of Control Panel. No error message number is given. selpan

When I create PO, the message still show warning , not error. I don't know what's wrong.
Could you tell me how to set , and the message can become error?

Thanks for you reply. I have checked QM IMG, I found out Control key for QM in Procurement Message mode set warning.
I have changed setting w->E, and try again to create PO.
Then the message show Error.

IMG Path -- spro --> Quality Management --> QM in Logistics --> QM in procurement --> Define Control Keys --> Message control for lock.

Failed to convert error message

When trying to convert pdf to msword get error "failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online. any reasons why? Adobe doesn't seem to honor the 90 day help promise

FM error message

hi all!
I am using this Standared FM (ME_CONFIRMATION_CHECK_QUANTITY).
In this FM i want to convert error message to information messgae ( type 'E' to type 'I') without modify standared FM.
Is it possible to avoid come out of the program in error message?

.CR2 from canon G9 won't open with DNG converter or CS2

Hi I've tried opening .CR2 raw files fro a new Canon G9 with Adobe DNG converter but message says 'files won't open problem with parsing the file'
I downloaded both Camera raw 3.7 and 4.2 to use in CS2 but can't open them there either. Does anyone have any advice?

Canon G9 RAW files will only be able to convert in the latest (and free) ACR 4.3 but ACR version 4.x only works in PSCS3
for CS2 the max version is ACR3.7.
You have 2 options left:
1- upgrade your version to CS3, apart from being able to directly open the RAW in ACR you will benefit from a lot more options in ACR4 and CS3 that are worth the money.
2- use the DNG route, download the (free) DNG converter version 4.3 from the Adobe site.
convert the G9 RAW files to DNG and then open the files in the ACR 3.7 converter in CS2

Converting NEF (Nikon RAW) to DNG results in error message

I'm trying to convert the NEF (raw) images off my Nikon d90 to DNG to import and work with in PS CS2. Using the DNG Converter tool, having made my settings and pressing "Convert", I get an error for all the 54 files in the selected folder. "An error occurred when the file was analyzed" (roughly translated). DNG Converter settings: JPEG preview: Medium size Compression: Lossless compression Keep Raw image Do not embed Raw image I tried with all the different settings though and get the same error message. I was able to convert the images to JPEG with Nikon's native tool, so I thought the NEF files were alright, but it seems something about them is corrupted? I'm on a one year old Dell Inspiron 1721 with an ATD processor with Vista Home Premium (32bit) and a legal copy of Photoshop CS2.

The DNG converter version was 3.7. I downloaded the version that was listed under Photoshop CS2 here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows since that's the version I have.
Tried downloading & installing 5.4 and everything works like a charm.
Sorry for the trouble, it was that list that confused me, thought it wouldn't work with the later version.
