DNG Corrections/Settings Will Not Appear in PS

I am a neophyte. Please excuse my ignorance:
I have been making images with a Epson 3200 flatbed scanner. I have found that best output for color correction is DNG. I am able to correct color, exposure, sharpness, etc. in Camera Raw, but when I save my changes/settings and open the images in Photoshop, none of my Camera Raw corrections carry over. These changes/settings are obviously saved somewhere (CR database? Side-car XMP?) because the images consistently load in Camera Raw with my changes/settings.
Has anyone experienced this or have any idea why this is happening? I have tried every conceivable combination of settings, file types, etc. Please refer to the screenshots below to see the change in color between the applications. (A note: the overall screen pattern and distortion are part of the image.)

I wonder if it could be your Photoshop color settings. Do you have this problem with other types of images (i.e. Images from a digital camera)? These settings are what I use, and I don't have the kind of problem you are describing.

I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?

I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

"Non rectangular objects will not appear correctly when exported using CSS."

I am using Ind CC 2014 exporting a document to a reflowable epub. The document contains an .ai image. The image exports correctly in some parts of the.epub but not others, where it is distorted. There is a warning on export :"Non rectangular objects will not appear correctly when exported using CSS." Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a single song that is on my iPod Classic 7 but the artist does not appear and under "artists" in the music it doesn't appear, nor does it in albums. All the information on the song is correct the artist just will not appear. Why is this?

All the information is correct and filled correctly, I have chacked seven times, but it still will not appear, why?

Any funny characters in the artist or album names? I take it that it is not hiding for the reasons given in Missing Artist or Album not with others by same artist? Sort fields can sometimes cause items to be listed in a different place within the list. Can you find it using search on the device?

An orphan photo will not appear in "All Images"

I have one picture in a project that does not show up when I go to "All Images" in the Library. I "imported" this picture from my desktop "Into the Aperture Library" but it did not show up in the Library.
Why doesn't it appear in "All Images"? All other images appear there.

I should have said Smart Album.
If you control click on the library icon you will be able to select New > Smart Album. With that you can select all images (ie no filtering). That should show your missing image.
Is the date correct on your missing image? If the date is wrong, it will not appear where you expect it to. See here for some information on smart albums:

GConf: "saving configuration settings will not be possible"

Hello folks.
I'm new to Arch, but not new to Linux. This problem has me stumped.
I've just installed Gnome on top of a fresh Arch install, apart from Firefox, a few daemons (HAL, FAM), and some laptop related settings (cpufreq, pm-utils), there's nothing else on here at the minute. I've followed the instructions on the wiki, and I've Googled my heart out about this problem without a solution.
Gnome starts fine and appears to work okay, but it refuses to save certain settings, specifically in the Sessions tool (I'm trying to setup Compiz). When I start the GConf Editor tool, these errors appear in everything.log:

I've deleted my ~/.gnome* and ~/.gconf* directories and started again, and this error still appears.
Short of changing the permissions on /etc/gconf (which I presume is The Wrong Thing to do), I'm not sure how else to approach this problem.

When you update to Firefox 4 it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
Firefox 4 is currently scheduled to be released next week.

Keyboard will not appear

My keyboard will not appear on my iPad. When the cursor is in position to type.....there is no keyboard on the screen. How do I get the keyboard back?

Have you been using a Bluetooth keyboard recently? Is the Bluetooth keyboard still around or in your area? If so, turn it off. Turn off Bluetooth on the iPad as well. As odd as this sounds, if you have any other Bluetooth devices nearby, that have Bluetooth turned on, move away from them as well.
If you turn Bluetooth off in the iPad settings, or you never used a Bluetooth keyboard- and the keyboard still does not appear - Reboot the device.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I've got automatic downloads turned off and I tried signing out and in via the settings and still keeps asking me for an apple id.
It doesn't do it continuously, it'll just pop up randomly ... if the phone is just sitting there it may ask for my apple id and regardless of whether I press cancel or enter my password nothing happens .. it may be another 2mins, 5mins, 15mins but eventually it'll just randomly pop up and ask me again. It does accept my password though because I tried entering an incorrect password to see what happens and it gives me the error saying it's incorrect, so when I enter the correct one in the box disappears and it accepts it as I say, but only for so long before it pops up again.

Quite a lot of my music will not appear in the 'artist' list.....

i can only access it through the 'songs' list. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it?

There are usually two things that contribute to songs not appearing under Artist on the iPod, both due to information either in or missing from the Get Info>Info tab against the song in iTunes. 1) the song has no album name associated with it or 2) the song is marked as part of a compilation.
If tracks are missing an Album name in the Info tab, this information needs to be filled in. The no album one is a bit quirky as the songs will appear under certain circumstances (for instance I read somewhere that if you have at least two tracks with different album names the rest will appear), however the simplest remedy is just add None or Miscellaneous to all the blanks in place of a title. Setting "Compilations" on your iPod main menu prevents you getting lots of single artist entries when you load an album by various artists.

If I go from 'Devices' to Summary and then Music, I only get one option-Sync Music,There is a box on this page but the options within it are grayed out. If I tick the Sync Music option I get this message-

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced.

Text caption is timed to appear at 2 seconds, but you have a click box at 0sec. Its duration is very short, which means that I cannot see if there is a pause. I suspect this click box is pausing at the end of its timeline, which is at 0.3secs and the Text caption at 2 seconds will not appear before the user has clicked on that click box. The timeline is the core of Captivate, learn at least how to read it.

If you want the green text caption 'Click on...' to appear right at the beginning of the slide, you have to check its Timing accordion: set it to start at 0 secs instead of 2 secs and extend its duration to the 'rest of the slide'.
I don't know what is in the Group. That group and the HIghlight box will disappear at 3 seconds. Or maybe the action that is triggered by the Clickbox is different from 'Continue'?
