Please would anyone be able to tell me how I can remove myself from the DNG Mailing list. I have it under 'My Stuff' but cannot seem to remove myself from it.
Many thanks

  • Remove from mailing list?

How do we remove ourselves from Verizon's mailing list? We get our bills electronically and do not wish to receive junk mail from them either through the post or email. I looked everywhere on their website but could not find a way to opt-out. Thank you!

Hudm, I am happy you are apart of our wonderful wireless family but I would like to apologize if you were unable to locate information for opting out of receiving our email alerts. You may request to be placed on the "Do Not Call/Solicit List" for any Verizon Wireless marketing campaigns. When placed on the "Do Not Call/Solicit List" you can choose not to receive outbound marketing solicitations in the form of any or all of the following communication:
    ·        Calls
    ·        E-mail
    ·        Mail
    ·        Text Messages
    ·        Voicemail
    ·        Survey
    ·        Market to 3rd party
If you would like to be placed on the Do Not Call/Solicit List for Verizon Wireless marketing campaigns, you can contact us at 1-800-922-0204. It may take up to 30 days to remove the information from active lists.
Please note: Verizon Wireless' "Do Not Call/Solicit List" restricts marketing contacts from Verizon Wireless only; therefore, you may still be contacted about your account for service related issues, billing, and other communication.
You also have the option to be registered on the National Do Not Call / Solicit List for 3rd Party Marketers. If you would like to take additional action to remove your name from advertising databases, you may call the National Do Not Call registry at 888-382-1222 (TTY 866-290-4236) or visit www.donotcall.gov

You will need to go through a couple of steps in order to remove your subscription: one is on any community, click the "following" button and it will change to "follow" which means you are no longer subscribed. The same applies to any discussion/question you initiate - you will be automatically subscribed, so unfollow that. And, last, click on your name "welcome Chascartri" and then Preferences and turn email notifications OFF.

  • I dont receive e-mails with attachment sent to OS X Server 3.0.1 Group-mailing lists

I have a small company using a mac mini with mavericks and server 3.0.1.
We are using most of the services available in OS X server (except DHCP, Netinstall and Xsan). One of the services we use the most is Mail server, and the whole company uses that as our primary mail server.
We have set up several different Groups and activated group-mailing lists on some of them. The setup has been working very good for over a year (started using it with Mountain Lion Server).
Recently I was going to send a christmas card to all employees using the workgroup mailing list. I was using the stationaries in Mail, and it was sent as normal but never recieved by me or any of the other employees. Below is the SMTP Log

I did some trial and error and it seems like it is linked to the fact that I have attachments to the email. Sending an email with only text is recieved like normal. Even attacment like PDF or jpg is "blocked" it seems. I have tried using email outside my domain but still the same result. Sending the same email (with attachment) to all reciepients (not using the mailiing list) works and is recieved by everyone. I have turned off all email filtering settings on the server but still the same result.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? My guess is that this is a Server 3.0.1 hickup, so it would be nice to get confirmation from others experiencing the same.

  • Mailing list set-up in OS X Server.

    Dear members:
I have been looking at different options for setting up a few mailing list groups. One of the best options I have found in terms of functionality and features is Listserv software but it is very expensive and is only available in a Unix version (no OS X available) which would require me to install it using terminal.
Two other options are DirectMail and OS X Server. According to the info page on Apple's web site setting up a mailing list in OS X Snow Leopard Server is a fairly simple thing to do. At least that is what they say.
According to your experiences how simple is it to set up a few mailing lists in OS X ? Please consider that I am an advanced user but without any advanced training in networking or programming.
    Thank you in advance,
    JRC

    ~ Joseph ~
i have now resolved all my issues with the mail list functions on SL... and i am pretty confused as to why it is done like it is now. done... BUT... there are now TWO ways of creating lists in SL 10.6
1, the mailman way, which is a proper mail list server and can be relied on and has sensible mail handling and bounce control and aparantly no longer linked to workgroup manager or OD
2, the apple-wiki tool which uses a postfix alias populated with a group membership on creation.
SO... if you need a group that is linked to a OD group and you do not mind the complete lack of management and the fact that the mailing list will be called [email protected] then use mailing lists linked to wiki...
    OR
Use mailman... 10.6 has now removed the link between groups and mailman lists.. and you will soon loose the workgroup manager control (that no longer works) for integration with mailman lists... if you use mailman you have an industrial strength mailing list tool that you can sync with various other DB sources (inc LDAP) and has sensible bounce and mail handling...
it took me a while yesterday to finally realise what has really changed and what i need to do to work as normal.
My plan is to create a group in workgroup manager called "Mailing Lists" and then with a perl script interrogate OD for groups that are in my "Master mailing list group" and then sync the OD group user list emails with the list of the same name (as any group in the OD group "mailing lists") in MailMan.... which will give me OD managed group mailing lists again and also give me [email protected] for my list name...
i object to have to call a mailing list with a "-wiki" extension to the name, and i would like to automatically have people added to mailing lists when they are put in groups...
i am still working on all of this and i hope my findings are of some help.

  • Enable group mailing list in Server.app not working

    Hello everyone,
I have been trying to enable a new (?) feature of Server.app : "Enable group mailing list". Until now, it does not work for me. When I try to send an email to the group [email protected], Mail tells me that the smtp server cannot send my message. Here is what I see on the server's /var/log/mail.log file :
    Sep 10 16:55:54 testserver01.pretendco.net postfix/smtpd[2311]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from testclient01.pretendco.net[10.1.101.10]: 550 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<testclient01.pretendco.net>
    Sep 10 16:55:54 testserver01.pretendco.net postfix/smtpd[2311]: disconnect from testclient01.pretendco.net[10.1.101.10]
It is interesting to note that group mailing list aren't even mentioned in the Mac OS X Server Advanced Administration Guide :
    http://help.apple.com/advancedserveradmin/mac/10.8/#apd9430d30c-5796-4a20-a8f9-1 20638938942
Does any has any good/bad experience with group mailing lists under Mountain Lion Server ? Any advice ?
    Thanks a lot !

Hello Mark23 and thanks for your help !
The log says nothing particular when I (un)set the "Enable Group Mailing List Option". The only difference I see is a line saying mail_groups[127]: sleeping for: 1 hour(s). I have no idea what this means exactly. Googling it did not help me much either.
I post the /etc/aliases file below. Interesting : every time I (un)set the "Enable Group Mailing List" option, the /etc/aliases last access time changes. But the md5 hash of the file stays the same.
I guess that the "sudo newaliases" uses /etc/aliases to construct the binary database file /etc/aliases.db ? It seems that this script is run every time I (un)check the option since the access time of *both* /etc/aliases and /etc/aliases.db are changed to the current time.
Do you have any other option checked ?
Here is my /etc/aliases (I removed the blocks of comments at the beginning and at the end):

  • End User's mailing list administration

    Hi,
I have a customer who has just migrated from iMS 5 to newest JES05Q4. Everything seems to be OK except one thing: In iMS 5 end users were able to use Delegated Admin to manage their mailing lists. In 05Q4, Delegated Admin does not allow end users to login. Is this a configuration issue, or is that function removed from the newest Delegated Admin? What is the recommended way for web-based mailing list manipulations?

Yeah, that's gone from the current DA. We're hoping to get better stuff into JES5, due out sometime around the end of the year.

  • Group Mailing Lists and Email Addresses

    Howdy All,
    A couple of quick questions:
    1. When a Group mailing list is created does this create an equivalent Mailman mailing list (i.e. that would appear at the Mailman list URL)? I'm not so much concerned as to whether Groups uses Mailman behind the scenes just whether or not one could "further" admin the group mailing list through the admin interface.
    2. What happens when you have a username "x", a group name "x" (which I commonly used on other Unixes) with a mailing list (implictly named "x"), and a Mailman mailing list named "x" (what was created as a Mailman mailing list in Server Admin) and then you email x@serverDNSname? Because I often use the same user and groups names this could be quite common.
Thanks for any thoughts on these puzzles.
    Cheers,
    Ashley.

I am beginning to suspect a combination problem- i.e. bad converter and bad Admin Tools.
The 10.6 Mail Admin manual states that:
+In Workgroup Manager, enable the Mailing List service for each group you want to have a mailing list address.+
+The setting is located in the Basic group options in Workgroup Manager.+
However, I no longer have these options in Admin Tools. I had them in 10.5.8, but not in 10.6 or 10.62 tools. I took a screenshot of the basic tab in WM:
    Image: !http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t69/dunkelza/Screenshot2010-01-08at81609AM. jpg!
I checked the About Workgroup Manager menu item and got "Version 10.6.2 (361.2.1)"
So it appears that the update to 10.6 not only failed to convert the LDAP settings correctly and/or map them to the mail system; but, that the update also removed my ability to see this and fix it through the GUI.

  • Entourage (2004) mailing list rule

I have a POP mail account which I've made leave messages on the server, but I've been getting a lot of spam lately and would like to set a mailing list rule to have the spam deleted from the server automatically instead of having to click on each mail and then click on "remove from server". Conveniently all the spam is automatically being labeled with {Spam?} in the subject line. This makes it easy to apply the If..., but I can't find an action to perform that will remove the mail from the server and I'm pretty certain Delete will only remove it from my computer. Any ideas? Thanks

  • Mailing lists - Unsubcribes and bounces

When exporting mailing lists from Business Catalyst, are unsubscribes automatically tagged in some way, or removed?  And are email addresses that have bounced also indicated in some way?  If not, do these two processes need to be undertaken manually?

    Finally solved it...
The whole POSTFIXSTYLE_VIRTUALDOMAINS line was not necessary and was the wrench in the works for this particular configuration. Here is the winning combination I used to get a mailing list to accept mail from a virtual domain:
The main mail domain on this machine is mail.domainPrime.com; the virtual mail domains are mail.virt1.com and mail.virt2.com
Create the list using the Mailman web interface. Once created, I went to it's url (http://mail.domainPrime.com/mailman/admin/list) and changed its preferred hostname from mail.domainPrime.com to virt1.com and saved.
in /etc/postfix/virtual I added the following to the bottom:
    [email protected] [email protected]
    [email protected] [email protected]
in /etc/postfix/main.cf I added the following to the bottom:
    mynetworks = 127.0.0.1/32,172.16.1.0/24
    virtualaliasmaps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
I then used the following commands:
    postmap /etc/postfix/virtual
    postfix reload
After performing these additions, I was able to send mail to the lists of the virtual domains. I can't attest that this is best-practice, but it is working for me. Hope this helps anyone else looking to do the same, and if you have any suggestions to improve my setup, let me know since I am not too skilled in Postfix and Mailman.

  • Delete an entry from group mailing list

Does anyone know how to remove entries from a group mailing list?
There is no edit button and the list is not visible in mailman?
    Thanks in advance
    Gary Finch

I would like to know that myself! Afer a long search I was only able to find the following information:
    http://rickcogley.blogspot.com/2008/05/how-to-remove-leopard-wiki-mailing-list.h tml
I'd be glad to know if another (more user friendly) way exists. The MailServiceAdmin.pdf apparently wrongly suggests that mailmain can be used to administer server based mailing lists. Is there any "official" way to manage the mailing list and its web archive?

  • Aur-general "You are not allowed to post to this mailing list"

I found a font I needed a few days ago that I couldn't find in the AUR, so I made a package and threw it up on the AUR. A few days later, when I realized I didn't even end up installing it after the packaging, I searched for it to download and install it, only to find there was a package of that font from half a year ago, so I figured I'd go report my package for deletion.
The AUR wiki page states that removal requests should be emailed to aur-general. When doing this, I get an automated response from aur-general-owner stating:
"You are not allowed to post to this mailing list, and your message has
been automatically rejected.  If you think that your messages are
being rejected in error, contact the mailing list owner at
    [email protected]"
How do I get permission to send my removal request? And if getting permission requires something not so easy, could someone forward the email for me?

  • Send problem with address book mailing lists

    Hello,
    Plateform : openSuSE 13.1 Thunderbird : 31.1.0
When I use a name or alias of a mailing list from my address book I get an error message by clicking on Send button : CSCA <"ConseilSyndical"> n'est pas une adresse valide car elle n'est pas de la forme utilisateur@domaine. Veuillez la corriger avant d'envoyer le courrier.
That's to say that CSCA is not a valid address because not like user@dmoain.
I've created these lists in a previous version of Thunderbird and it was always operational. I've done a google search and verified that name/alias and addresses do not contain special characters. The name/alias do not contain blanks. The lists don't end with an empty address.
What should I do to make it operational like it was before v30 ?
    Thanks

This was a reported bug and version 31.1.1 fixed that bug.
I see that you are curently using version 31.1.0
suggest you update your version of Thunderbird first to see if the bug is removed.

  • Mailing List Emails

Hi Folks, I feel like a dope, but I searched high and low in the admin portal for my site and I can't find an option to turn off confirmations for mailing list subscriptions. I DON'T MEAN the emails that get sent to customers. I mean the email I recieve in my inbox every time a customer subscribes to a mailing list. It says:
"The email address [email protected] has subscribed to your list Website Launch."
I really don't want to recieve these emails anymore. How do I turn them off!?! Thanks!
