DNS, A record doesn�t exist

Hello.
We are using IMS 5.2 p2, Solaris 8.
There is a domain, co.schneider-electric.com, it has MX records but not A records, my server mail can�t send messages to that domain. Is possible resolve this in IMS? Is a schneider`s bad configuration problem? They say they receive mails from another systems without problem.

...and I want to know if the update didn't work because the record doesn't exist. It is possible that you are looking at the problem wrong. An update doesn't 'fail' if there is nothing to update. So it works whether anything was updated or not. And so it might simply not be possible to see whether zero or more rows were updated. (Returning how many rows were updated might represent an enhancement rather than a necessity.)
I didn't find anything specifically that said this was or wasn't supported by briefly looking at the Oracle docs and searching google.
If nothing else you could always do a select first with the same where clause and then do the update if the select returns a non-empty set.

QM info record doesn't exist for material

While creating PO's I getting this error - No Info record in QM for this material supplied by the vendor.
How to check this whether the material is having inforecord?
What t-code I need to use?

Selecting Records from one table where records don't exist in a linked table

Transactions (Left Outer Join)
Criteria:
Select all items with no transactions between a selected date range.
The items will exist in Main table but I want to select all items that haven't been in a transaction between a date range so I can identify no movement with stock items just sitting in the database doing nothing.
Any suggestions??

Dam meetings all day yesterday.You are essentially looking for something that doesn't exist in the db so you need to look at it from a different approach.You definitely don't want to use a full outer join. From what i can tell from your description above you are looking for stocks that are inactive/idle.So you need not look at data that doesn't exist but the last activity date.So you'd want something along the lines ofselect s.stock_name, s.stock_blah, max(t.transaction_date) Transaction_datefrom stocks sjoin transactions t on s.itemid = t.itemidwhere whatever restrictions you need to addgroup by s.stock_name, s.stock_blahthis will produce one record for each stock you have in the stock table showing you only the last date of activityput that in a command in crystalin the selection expert in crystal reports put in a simple criteriatransaction_date <= some datethis will only pull in records based on your date selection so if you say give me all records from dec 31, 2006 you will know all the records being pulled in are stocks that have been idle since dec 31, 2006 or earlierlet me know if this doesn't work

Hostname/DNS "A Record" name

We are having an issue with one domain bellsouth.net we are basically getting this back from them.

When I looked up the Detected error on SMTP command, I found some information about the Hostname, currently on our server it is setup as Hostname/DNS "A Record" name: ndhc.org (according to the internet domain holder (godaddy) the host name is ndhc.org and the "A" record name is mail. What should we have in the Hostname/DNS "A Record" name field? I believe that we have tried the servername.domain name (liberxx.ndhc.org) and that failed and I think that we also tried (mail.ndhc.org) I cannot confirm that we actually have it has been awhile since we did this project, but I am just wondering if someone can help clear this up for me. Thank you. This issue only started happen with Bellsouth.net when we switched from the NetWare GWIA to the Linux GWIA is there something else that might have been missed.

Okay, so you think we should try putting "mail.ndhc.org" into that section (Hostname/DNS "A Record" name field) instead of what we currently have "ndhc.org"
But that error doesn't sound like it's related to DNS. It much more
sounds like you're really blacklisted for sending spam. If it's really
the hostname, then their system is giving out extremely stupid result
messages. Have you tried to contact the given email address in the
message?
I know when we first setup the system we were having an issue with the GWIA relaying, but that has since been rectified, they are the only ones that are blacklisting us, because I have checked on other sites (blacklisting websites that is) and there is nothing about our site being blacklisted. I think basically the people that are trying to receive the messages respond back saying that they never received emails from the people here at ndhc. If memory serves they have been emailed from other accounts and those go through because Bellsouth.net is not blocking those accounts, like yahoo, gmail, etc.

Adding an element with an attribute to destination schema that doesn't exist on source schema

I have source schema which looks something like below:
source schema
name                    //attribute

I need to map it to a destination schema which looks like below:
destination schema
employee                  //record (repeating element)
  fieldname                //attribute
  type                       //attribute
After mapping, the xml would look like below:

<employee fieldname= 'address1' type ='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'address2' type ='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'city' type ='string'>
(fieldname exists in source schema, but 'type' doesn't. basing on the fieldname, I add it on the destination schema using ValueMapping functoid )And I am able to do it successfully, but my question is, I need to add a field called 'salary'
of type 'double' to the destination schema similar to the other values
<employee fieldname= 'salary' type ='double'>
But salary doesn't exist in 'source' schema, and it needs to be there in destination schema associated with the attribute 'type='dcouble''   How can I accomplish this? Appreciate any help. thanks!!

For your requirement, all you need is Table Looping functiod and Table Extractor functiod.
In this example, I am not using the value mapping functiod (you can also use it, but I prefer to make this sample easier for you to understand) so using a “string” as constant.
When you mean by you want

<employee fieldname= 'address1' type ='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'address2' type ='string'> <employee fieldname= 'city' type ='string'>
I assume you’re looking for something like this
<employee fieldname= 'ValueOfName' type='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'ValueOfAddress1' type ='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'ValueOfAddress2' type ='string'>
<employee fieldname= 'ValueOfCity' type ='string'>
Or if you just need field names not the value of the fields, you can still do what you want with the way you do now but using Table Looping functiod and Table Extractor
functiod.
Let me explain this.
Use Table Looping functiod with following parameters:
5 = You need 5 records in output i.e. name, address1,address2,city and salary.
2 = you need 2 columns. i.e. fieldname and type.
Link from 'name' in source schema. Here I have just linked the 'name' from source schema, so this will have VALUE-of-Name element/attribute. Or if you can want just the
field name, you can use the way you’re using to get the field name.
Repeat the above step for all the rest of the fields. I have linked address1, address2 and city.
7<sup>th</sup> parameter is “string” as constant, which I will be passing to “type” attribute in destination. Again you can use value mapping functiod as you
do. If you use value mapping functiod, then rest of the parameter shall be value mapping functiod.
Then I add last two paraters “salary” and “double” as constants, which I will be using to add the new record. Below image show the parameters for Table looping functiond:
Now select the “Configure Table Looping grid” property and map as shown. Give a closer look to the way how this grid has been mapped. Last record in the grid shows the
additional record which you want to add with “salary” and “double”
Now add “Table Extractor functiod”, set its first parameter to “Table looping” and second parameter as “1”
Now another “Table Extractor functiod”, set its first parameter to “Table looping” and second parameter as “2”. Below image show the Table Txtrator functiods parameters:
Now link the Table Looping functiod to “employee” record in destination schema.
Use the above you will get the output as you wanted. Following is the output, note: as mentioned in the fieldName attribute I have the value of the source fields/attributes
since I have used the direct link from soruce in Table Looping functiod parameters, you can use the link which is producing the value for you now for fieldname:

Table doesn't exist

CS3 on a Macbook Pro
MAMP
SQL database with 15 fields and 124 records that was imported from a csv
I have connected my database to dreamweaver successfully, but when i right click on the table of the database to view data, it produces an error stating the the table doesn't exist. It does. I can view the table through phpmyadmin and there are 124 records.
I created a test table within the same data base and filled it with data, and I was able to see the data in Dreamweaver. I don't know why one table will 'exist' and the other one 'doesn't exist.'

thank you david for your guidance. i solved this problem just a few minutes ago. i was taking data from an excel spreadsheet, copying the csv data and pasting it into a text document and then changing the extension from .txt to .csv. this was a necessary workaround because of a problem with the original database. i found a way to generate the csv data directly from the original database and that solved it.
i now have a problem and i've started another thread... i have 104 records in my table and view data in DW only shows 100.

Error- Material doesn't exist in Plant

I have created one semifinish material(HALB).
& two raw materials for subcomponents(ROH).
I have maintained BOM in CS01.
Now when i create PO, an error occurs as follows"Material doesn't exist in plant or not activated", what does it mean?
(I've maintained info record for Semi finish matl using category subcontracting.)
Please help.

We have a Z program to create items in purchasing contracts. It normally works OK with all vendors/ contracts. For contracts of a particular vendor, it throws up an error "Address doesn't exist CUSTOMER_ADDRESS" message no. AM010. How to resolve this error?
ADRC table is having only one entry of ADRNR. i.e. I got ADRNR from LFA1 table by inputing vendor number. I input this ADRNR in ADRC table and there is only one record in ADRC.

EXS24 samples won't boot: "Specified Volume Doesn't Exist"

My sample library is in my external drive... I scanned the whole thing in Project Manager, which took forever, and I saved it...and I was able to use the samples on EXS24.
But when I reboot Logic, only the samples that were recorded are recognized...
when I try to pick a new sound I get the most lovely message:
"Specified Volume doesn't exist:
Result Code -35"

Something really odd is going on. In your first screen shot, I noticed that the Applications folder does not have the proper icon displayed in the side bar. Also, in the title bar it lists it as Applications 08-59-29-909.
Not sure where it's picking up that odd name, unless it's because it's still truly within the Trash folder.
Try this. In the Finder > Preferences > General > turn on "Always open folders in a new window". (I have a feeling you have the default setting with this off).
Now, in Finder > Go > move down and open the Applications Folder from there. Now open the folder where you see all your applications that you show in your screen shot, select all, and move them to this true appliactions folder.
This is what you should properly seeing (but with different apps listed):
See how the Applications folder has the icon of the letter A shaped with a pencil, ruler & pen.

Adding T-code to Role Area Menu which doesn't exist in box

We are using a SAP system called QIM which has "jumplink" functionality, which is a web based linked (NWBC) which will launch you into a ERP system transaction when clicked. For example, in QIM we will display a outbound delivery, and if we click on the link it launches VL03N from the ERP system and displays as web UI.
In PFCG under area menu, this transaction code appears under the menu, but VL03N doesn't actually existing in the system... The issue is we created a custom object for inbound delivery and we need ot add it under this area, but when we attempt to add a transaction code under the Role Area, the system says the t-code doesn't exist... Even when we try this with an existing t-code showing in the menu (Vl03N) it says it doesnt exist. Same if we look at the authorization object S_TCODE. These t-codes exist in here, but when you try to readd them they system says it doesn't exist.
Please find the attachments with some screen shots... Any idea how we can do this?

You can create a role menu as remote enabled remote menu.
The authority checks will happen on the remote side, also against objects which don't exist in the calling system as the music is on the other side.
On the RFC client system side, you only need the parameter transaction to start the remote transaction in the remote system.
See the documentation on SYST function module ABAP4_CALL_TRANSACTION.
This is however a rather antiquated technology... it is more popular to use a SAP Portal or webdynpro applications for this sort of thing (the user does not notice the difference) or later versions of such integration such as Fiori UIs or imbedded links within the Business Client.
I don't want to lean out the window too far, but the buggy phase of these new things is approaching an end and they are usable if you are on newer releases. Then you can pool the menu and use APIs for navigation and no more irritating S_TCODE checks.
