Do all apps marked "Install" as opposed to "Try" come with my subscription?

Hello. I am new to Photoshop and I have a question. I just purchased the $9.99/mo Photoshop and Lightroom package. While on Creative Cloud I noticed that some of the other apps have an "Install" button as opposed to a "Try" button. Being as they are marked "Install", I am wondering if these come with my subscription. The apps that say "Install" are:
Bridge CC
Edge Code CC (Preview)
Edge Inspect CC
Edge Reflow CC (Preview)
Exchange Panel (for CS6 Apps)
Extendscript Toolkit CC
Extension Manager CC
Gaming SDK 1.3
Scout CC
Touch App Plug-ins
Thank you!

YEs, those apps are not specifically tied to a plan and can be installed by everyone.

Since iphone5 6.1.3 upgrade mine has been running hot and totally reduced the battery life. Before I was getting 2days out of it. Now it's half a day ... No new apps and I've been closing down fully all apps. I think something is definitely up with 6.1.3
Are there many others experiencing this?

The number of apps that run in the background are very few and far between. An app being in the recently used apps bar or dock means just that for the most part - the app was recently used only and is not running.
Have you powered your iPhone off and on and/or tried a reset which is similar to a computer restart since the update was installed?
Are you accessing an Exchange account with the Mail app on your iPhone?

That message is just a standard one issued, mainly for Windows users, you can disregard it if you didn't install any anti-virus. (OS X has one installed by Apple that doesn't interfere)
It's just some forms of anti-malware are really paranoid and lock the entire machine down. (like Norton)

  • After reinstall not all apps are installed

    Hi!
I've had the problem that my iPhone 3G freezed and the restart only shows the apple logo. So I started it in recovery mode, reinstalled iPhone, activated it and my computer and synced one time. All contacts, calenders and all settings were restored - wonderful!!!
But not all apps have been installed. But why? All apps are lying in the directory where the others are lying which were installed. After another sync nothing more happened. Then I double clicked an app-file directly and then it showed up in iTunes under Programs. After another sync some programs are installed on iPhone but not all.
So is this normal? How could I install all my apps?
Is it possible to download apps which I didn't synchronized before restore, because iTunes says there are no downloads available.
    Thanks for help in advance!!
    Greetings
    Udo

As far as I know you shouldn't have ANY TROUBLES with the NATIVE APPS...you know like Safari, Calendar, Photos...etc. However, the apps that you download from the app store, I believe, need to be re-installed manually. This is what I have to do with my original iPhone with 2.0 software anyway. I would think that it is the same with the 3G.

  • All Apps re-installing on phone (even deleted apps)

    Hi,
Has this happened to any of you?
I was listening to music on my iPhone all morning, but I highly doubt this can be the cause.
All apps that I have tried and deleted in the past 3 months have resurfaced on my phone and I cannot delete them without having to re-install first. So,that is roughly 60 applications.
    Please help.
I have switched phone off and same issue when I turn it back on.

That's my other big issue. My iPhone will not sync with iTunes now that I have a new hard drive. Would you believe my hard ware crashed while updating OS from
Tiger to Snow Leopard. Now my phone can't be recognized by iTunes.
I am getting tired of Apple.

  • All App failed when key in (few) Chinese characters with iOS5

    hi,
my iPhone 4 was upgraded to iOS 5.0.1. But when I key in certain Traditional Chinese Characters (e.g. 還, 或, etc.), the app stop and return to iPhone start up menu. It happens to all app's, including native app of Messages, Notes, etc. I checked with some of my friends who upgrade their iPhone to iOS5. Strange enough is no one suffers the same issue with me. So I wonder what went wrong with MY iPhone/iOS5?

http://expresslane.apple.com/ setup a callback with them and have your account info updated i would assume

  • I purchased Photoshop CC but I already have Lightroom 5.1 installed. Do I need to re-install the Lightroom download that comes with the purchase of Photoshop CC?

I have purchased Photoshop CC that comes with Lightroom 5. I already have Lightroom 5.1 installed and wondering do I need to install the Lightroom that comes with Photoshop CC 2014?  Thanks

As  you bought the CC plan of Photoshop plus Lightroom, you should uninstall your standalone copy of Lr as it may interfere with the correct working of the CC version, and install the CC version.
I don't think that's true at the moment; the CC version of LR5 is identical to the stand-alone version, and it will interwork with Photoshop in the same way.
However, when LR6 is released then that comes free with CC but not with the stand-alone version.  So you might want to follow johnhawk666's advice when LR6 is released, if you haven't done it by then, or you won't get the upgrade to LR6.
By the way, uninstalling your existing LR5, then installing the CC version (via the CC app) shouldn't alter anything - your settings, catalog etc should be picked up by the new installation.  However, a wise person would back everything up first anyway, just in case!

  • How do get the free apps such as pages numbers etc which come with my new iPod touch

How do I get my free apps which come with my new iPod touch such as pages, numbers etc

Just go to the App store and try to purchase them They should be free if:
GarageBand is free on the App Store for all iOS 7 compatible devices; additional GarageBand instruments and sounds are available with an in-app purchase. iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated on or after September 1, 2013. See www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/ for iOS 7 compatible devices. Downloading apps requires an Apple ID.

  • IPad 2 is getting very slow after installing iOS8. Is Apple comming with a fix for it?

iOS8 is making ipad2 extremely slow. I can't work with it anymore. When is Apple comming with a fix?

Now, you can downgrade your iPad from iOS 8 to iOS 7, BUT do it quickly. A few days later, the way is not available any longer:
    1. Download iOS 7.1.2 firmware for your iPad 2. (just google it)
    2. Make sure you have install the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Connect your iPad to computer via a USB cable.
    3. After detected, your iPad will be shown in the left column. Click your iPad to show the control panel.
Note: Make sure you have backups of your iPad. if not, backup it now.
    4. Under Summary tab, hold on Shift key in Windows(Option key in Mac ) click Restore iPhone....
    5. In the pop-up window, find the firmware on your computer and click Open.
    6. Then, iTunes will downgrade your iPad to iOS 7.1.2.

  • Updated to CC 2014 yesterday; all apps where installed in addtiton to the prev. versions. How can I clean up?

I did an update using CC Desktop of all my CC apps. Everything apparently went ok; no errors or warnings. But all my prior inatsallations wher kept in addition to the new ones. How can I uninstall/get rid of the older versions w/o loosing all my settings/prefs etc?
Also CC desktop suggests that I should instll Lightroom 5, which is already installed (and was updated to latest version yesterday, as well).
It seems that soemthing is wrong with either Air or CC desktop: how can I fix this?

Jeff, I've already read Julieanne Kost's blog post about this. I could understand this for the move from CS6 to CC last year, because there were a lot of changes under-the-hood, as well as several apps dropped from the suite (Fireworks, Encore). I'm not totally convinced this time round that the number of changes from the latest CC to CC 2014 justify a completely separate install. The only other explanation that I can come up with is that Adobe are not 100% certain that the new features introduced in CC 2014 will work correctly across all users' systems. If that is the case, then surely the answer would be to have an expanded beta-test program, then slip-stream them into users' existing CC installations. As it is, the way CC 2014 is being rolled out means a lot of extra work for users in terms on installation and setup. I'm speaking here as a fan of Creative Cloud - I really feel that this situation is not helping Adobe to sell the benefits of CC to those still on older versions of Creative Suite who have yet to be tempted by the subscription model.

  • How to install the extra version of Lightroom with cloud subscription

I already own lightroom 5 and wondering when i purchase the cloud for photographers and receive the lightroom 5 with that, how do i go about the installation since i already have a working version. When i updated from lr 4 to lr 5, it automatically brought over my catalogs and presets. Will the cc version do that or do i have to manually move everything

A few weeks ago when I went through this, I had LR5 installed from my LR4 upgrade, then when the CC-Manager program offered the CC-delivered version, I just uninstalled my old LR5 and installed the CC-delivered version, which is the same thing, just a new license key, so all my presets and preferences, which reside in the user-library folders,  were immediately used, again, since only the program files were re-installed.
Since that time, I’ve seen one person saying they weren’t being offered the CC-delivered version of LR5 apparently because they already had a non-CC-delivered LR5 installed.  I don’t know if the offering was just delayed as things percolated through the cloud, or if the CC Manager app is different, now, and doesn’t offer LR5 if you already have a perpetual-license version installed.
I guess what I’d recommend is not uninstalling your old LR5 until you are offered one via the CC-Manager program, and then it should work to uninstall the perpetual-license one and re-install the CC-delivered licensed version.

Im thinking someone somehow remote jailbroke my phone or someone without my permission and without me knowing jailbroke my phone and may have possibly installed some form of spyware etc. Is there anyway possible to check if it is jailbroken and to see a complete list of all apps ever installed?

To see all your applications, use iTunes.

  • Old iPhone, new iTunes/Mac; App sync warning about losing all apps and data

I have an old iPhone with plenty of apps on it.
I have a new Mac/iTunes that I have setup and "successfully" synced with my phone.
However, on the Apps tab in iTunes (within my phone device section), the Sync Apps checkbox is not checked. If I check this box, I get a very disconcerting warning:
-- Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone "Some Guy's iPhone" will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library. --
My goal is to update iOS4.2, but I can't do that because it warns me there are things on my phone that aren't on iTunes. Yet Transfer Purchases isn't doing anything useful.
I have also Reset Warnings and reattached my phone to sync. Nothing new and exciting happened.
So, will I actually lose everything if I do the update? Will I ever be able to control my apps from iTunes (via Sync Apps)?
Does Apple realize how non-intuitive and difficult the whole iPhone-iTunes management thing is? This is so counter to their philosophy.

    Hello.
You need to transfer your iTunes library from your PC to your Mac per the instructions included with this link along with all other important data from your PC that you will need or want to access on your Mac such as photos, documents, etc.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
Transferring your iTunes library from your PC to your Mac following the instructions included with the link provided along with authorizing your Mac with your iTunes account with iTunes should prevent any iTunes content from being erased on your iPhone with the first sync with iTunes on your Mac. Since all iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and 3rd party apps should be available in your iTunes library on your PC, transferring your iTunes library from your PC to your Mac will prevent any iTunes content from being erased on your iPhone.
The only data that is wiped on an iPhone when syncing an iPhone with an iTunes library on a new or different computer is iTunes content when not transferring your iTunes library from the existing computer used for syncing your iPhone with to the new or different computer per the instructions provided, and photos transferred from the existing computer. Photos on the existing computer should be transferred to the new or different computer along with your iTunes library and all other important data from the existing computer.
Photos in the Camera Roll are not included with the iTunes sync process or touched except for being included with the iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
Photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. When there are photos and/or video in the Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer. Importing photos from a digital camera is not handled by iTunes and the same for photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll. With a Mac, you can use iPhoto for importing photos/videos from any digital camera or from a digital camera's storage card including from the iPhone's Camera Roll, or you can use the Image Capture application for this if you don't prefer using iPhoto for photo storage and management on your Mac. iPhoto will provide you the Events and Faces feature available on the iPhone and you can use iPhoto for setting a location for photos that were captured by a digital camera which does not include a location feature for the iPhoto locations feature.
Contacts and calendar events on your iPhone are not touched when syncing with iTunes unless you are syncing contacts and calendar events with a supported application on your computer. With a Mac, you can sync contacts with the Address Book and calendar events with iCal. Before syncing contacts with an empty Address Book and calendar events with an empty iCal, enter one contact in the Address Book and one calendar event in iCal before the first sync for this data. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select. Syncing contacts with the Address Book and calendars/calendar events with iCal is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your Mac.
If you don't have any music or movies in your iTunes library on your PC - all you have are 3rd party apps in your iTunes library on your PC, you can transfer all apps from your iPhone to iTunes on your Mac. First you need to authorize your Mac with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. After confirming all 3rd party apps on your iPhone are in your iTunes library on your Mac, under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes select Sync Apps and make sure all apps currently installed on your iPhone are selected below.

  • Is it possible to close all apps in one one click?

Is there a simpler way of closing all apps on your iphone than doube-clicking the home button and then closing each one individually? I don't see a "close all apps" option anywhere.  Sometimes I find myself with 20 apps open all at once and it's tedious to close them all one at a time.

Another concern is power consumption; I have been told by friends with "modified" iPhones that they still use more power if not closed out. They claim that their battery lasts longer when their alotted memory scope is smaller. I just need some fuel for dispute since I feel that the memory has the same power consumption whether it is 'holding' useable data or not.
    Thanks
