Do all iPhone 4s have a gsm slot?
I would like to buy an iPhone 4s, but I do not live around At&t or Sprint etc. I would like to know if all iPhone 4s have gsm slots. Because it's what I need for it to work and have a number where I live Thanks
The 4S does, the 4 does not.
Regardless, if it's is a Sprint or Verizon iPhone, you will not be able to use it unless you're a customer of one of those two and get them to unlock it.
Buy a device from your carrier or an officially unlocked device directly from Apple.

Also if I download a calculator app, the app also does this?I get the same answer as the OP when I immediately start the second calc without clearing the first. What then happens is that you're dividing 0.64 by .80 = 0.8. When you press = again it divides that answer by 0.8 from the first calc.
Don't know why the OP doesn't just clear the first calc. -

The SIM slot in the Verizon iPhone 5 is used for the 4G LTE SIM when used domestically and for a GSM SIM if you're traveling abroad. All Verizon 4G LTE phones require a SIM because they work on both Verizon's CDMA (3G) network and their 4G LTE network.

The company I'm trying to connect the phone with says phones with a sim card slot cannot be activated, so instead of buying an Iphone 4 (which I don't want, due to the slower speed and less camera pixels), I figured I'd give one last try and see if anyone on here knows.

p.s. If you have any pictures or eBay listings of 4S's without a slot, please post them.That sounds odd. All iPhone 4S and 5's come with SIM slots. The only iPhone model that does not have a SIM slot is the Verizon (CDMA) iPhone 4. Every other iPhone has had a SIM slot, from the original to the 5.

My MacBook Pro HD crashed. It is all up and runmning except for one issue. I have about 200 songs on my iPhone but have only gotton 53 back on my laptop from my iPhone and those are the songs I purchased via iTunes. How do I get the rest of the songs from my iPhone back onto my HD.
The songs I'm not able to import casme from CD's. Nothing from napster etc.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

I spend good money for my iPhone i have the iPhone 5 with the new charger slot which is smaller. I have been through at least 3 charging cords and this is not acceptable to me. i never had a problem with this on my older phone. apple needs to correct this and reimburse me for this cord.
Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement. -
Do you need to use an email as an apple ID? We have a family email which is currently the apple ID so I can keep track of purchases but i have 2 iPhones and 2 itouches. Can all 4 devices have different apple ID under the same email address. Also I wanted to know because for the game center we wanted to keep track of each individual not just o e account. DID I MAKE SENSE

I have downloaded IOS7 on my iPhone and all calendar events have disappeared. The general functions of the calendar have changed and are definitely not 'user friendly'. How can I retrieve my calendar events. Will Apple improve the calendar function or revert to the previous system. Even the typing function on IOS 7 is faulty - very slow to respond to the keyboard. I no longer enjoy using my iPhone. Can anyone assist. Thank you
Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen. -
I updated my 3GS to os5 and set up icloud and it backed it up, although, the backup says incomplete. I turned off the contacts under icloud and they are now all gone off the iphone. How do I get them back? I feel like they are in icloud, because the contacts went to another iphone i have.
I did turn the contacts back on and it didnt work. I am hoping the wi-fi connection I am on at school is not compatible, and it will work when I get home. Thanks!

My photos will not sync to my Apple TV (1st generation), ipad, iphone, or itouch. They used to be there but upon recent syncs with all devices they have all gone. I am totally baffled as I have not changed settings?
I had the same thing happen to me. It's a bug in iPhoto 9.4.2.
The first time you run iPhoto after upgrading to iPhoto 9.4.2, it "updates the iPhoto library". This sometimes tickles a bug where iTunes can see all your iPhoto albums, but iTunes thinks they are empty. Since iTunes thinks all your albums are empty, it dutifully deletes any photos from your synced iOS devices.
It's easy to tell if this is the problem you are seeing. Open iTunes and go to the photos sync panel for one of your iOS devices. If you have multiple albums checked, but iTunes shows a total of 0 photos, then you have the problem.
I spent an hour with an Apple Genius. he couldn't find any mention of this problem in their internal support system. His recomendation was to reinstall the operating the system. I suspect that this won't solve it.
The only solution I have found is to restore iPhoto 9.4.1 and the corresponding iPhoto library from your backups.
I would refrain from upgrading to iPhoto 9.4.2 until Apple has a fix for this issue. -
On my iPhone, I have songs from a CD that I bought and no longer have. I now have a new computer and it is telling me that to move songs that I only have on my computer, I must erase all of the music from my iPhone (It also says that my phone is already synced with another computer so it has to download everything). I would like to keep all of the music on my Phone and still be able to have these songs from my computer on my iPhone. Help!
The iPhone is not a storage device. iPhone is designed to sync with 1 computer and
iPhone sync only one way computer -> iPhone except content bought from iTunes.

iOS devices do backup automatically to iCloud providing:
iCloud Backup is turned on
It has a Wi-Fi connection
It is connected to a power source
The screen is off
5GB is plenty of storage for me to backup to iCloud automatically.
I have a 64GB iPhone & a 128GB iPad both backing up to the same iCloud account and I still have nearly 2GB free.
This is mainly because media is not backed up and Photo Stream & iTunes purchases do not count against your iCloud storage.

I have a new iPhone and have kept my old one to play music in another room. I have recently updated my software on the new iPhone and when it backed up it backed up to the old iPhone, I have therefore lost pictures, messages and apps from my new iPhone as it has backed up to the last session of the old phone, how can I get all my new stuff back and stop it from happening again?

No such thing has occurred. iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.
