Do all java sciprts invoke the security pop up bar in IE?

Hi
Rather than use an animated gif for an image crossfade
slideshow, I found a cool javascript one. However, it invokes that
security pop up bar in IE - is there any way of avoiding this, as I
don't want that message scaring people off.
If not, is there a non-java script, cross browser way fof
making an image crossfade slideshow?
Cheers
Shaun

Shaun,
I'm assuming you are previewing the page locally.
See if this helps:

• Invoke the secured webservice from BPEL in Solaris environment

Hi All,
Can any one tell me how to invoke the secured webservice from BPEL in Solaris environment as i am able to invoke the secured web service from BPEL in windows platform(soa suite 10.1.3.4).

Hi Nagaraju,
Read your post. We've somewhat the similar problem as yours as we are facing some error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from our BPEL Process on the windows platform(SOA 10.1.3.3.0).
For the BPEL process we are following the same steps as given in an AMIS blog : - [http://technology.amis.nl/blog/1607/how-to-call-a-ws-security-secured-web-service-from-oracle-bpel]
but sttill, after deploying it and passing values in it,we are getting the following error on the console :-
“Header [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing:Action] for ultimate recipient is required but not present in the message”
As you have wriiten that you've already called a secured web service in windows platform ,so if you can please help me out in this issue.
I've opened a separate thread for this to avoid confusion. :-

• How do I get rid of the Security Pop-Up?

Windows 7 - 64bit
IE 8 run in 32 bit
Latest version installed of Flash Player
All of a sudden (I think it started when a web page tried to open adobe reader) I get a continual IE security popup that keeps re-appearing over and over again on the same page as well as on new pages that has a yellow banner saying: A webstie wants to open web coontent using this program on your computer
Allow or Disallow
Then it says it's from Adobe and the program is Flash Player and under the details it shows
...ys\WOW64\Macromed\flash\FlashUtil10e.exe
What do I do to get rid of this?
Much appreciated!!

I keep uninstalling Adobe to get rid of this problem. Then something comes along that I need Adobe for and install again.
Then this same problem is back. I won't even consider buying an Adobe product until I know the issue can be resolved.
I'm frustrated in Texas. I cannot find a way to contact customer service about this, so I guess this has to be the next best thing.
Can anyone help yet? It's October 2011.

• I was just surfing Google Images on my Macbook I bought yesterday and all of a sudden "Mac Security" pops up asking me to register (which costs money). Is this a fake? Now inappropriate websites popup randomly on my Macbook.

I think this is what I have:
http://http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9216335/Fake_security_software_tak es_aim_at_Mac_users

Yes, it's malware. Lots of people getting that one and MacDefender (another trojan) from Google images in particular. Don't try to close the window; that starts the download. Disconnect from the net (turn Airport off or unplug ethernet). Quit the browser (Force Quit if need be). Then remove the ,app file and check login items in your account for it's presence, and delete it if there. For further info, search MacDefender on the forums; plenty of threads and advice.

• Firefox was working previously but when I click to open it all I get is the top blue Windows bar with Mozilla Firefox labeled in it and a blank white window. What happened to everything?

June 25 my virus software detected a threat from milkiwals.com and zonedg.com. Although the virus software said it contained the threat, I continued to get a widow opening asking if I wanted to run an unknown program in a sandbox, and the same threat alerts would continue every few minutes. I then noticed a new exe running in the task manager labeled conhost.exe. I removed it to the trash the threats stop, but would come back when I did a restart, so I did a system restore to June 24. I restarted the computer with no more alerts. I thought everything was fixed so I shut down the system for the night. But when I restarted the computer on the 26 I got the above describe Firefox problem.

This began to happen to me when I tried to run two separate profiles simultaneously on the same installation of firefox with -no-remote

• Some Java applets do not work after silent installation, solved by toggling "Enable Java content in the browser" - Why?

We have about 1,800 workstations running Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit) running various versions of the Java JRE from 6 update 32 through 7 update 51. Most are on 6 update 45. We would like to standardize on Java 7 update 51 (32-bit) and get everyone updated to that version for security reasons.
For the past two weeks, we have been having trouble with our installation pre-pilot. What we are seeing is that our procedure successfully closes any open Internet Explorer windows and Java-related processes, uninstalls all old versions of the Java JRE, and then claims to have successfully installed Java 7 update 51. The Java Control panel works. We can even take Internet Explorer to Verify Java Version or Java Tester - What Version of Java Are You Running? and confirm that the Java applets on those sites are loading (though the latter only works after adding the site to the exceptions site list); however, when testers try to access our Kronos Workforce Central 6.3.10 system, the Java applets used by that system do not load.
We have tried the following things, none of which worked:
Clear Internet Explorer browser cache and cookies.
Clear the local Java cache.
Reboot the computer.
Reset Internet Explorer settings, including personal settings.
The one thing which does work is going into the Java Control Panel, going to the Security tab, unchecking "Enable Java content in the browser", pressing Apply, pressing OK on the pop-up window, checking the "Enable Java content in the browser" box again, pressing OK, pressing OK on the pop-up window, and then restarting Internet Explorer. It is only after this point that all Java applets, including the ones used by Kronos Workforce Central 6.3.10, work.
What I need to know is how I can automate the procedure of reinitializing the "Enable Java content in the browser" checkbox after installation or am I doing something wrong or missing a step in the automated installation that is causing this to happen?
We are using Microsoft SCCM 2007 R3 to accomplish this upgrade, and everything is being run on the client machine using the SYSTEM account. First, the PowerShell script "javaclean.ps1" is run, with part of the command-line process changing the PowerShell script execution policy to Bypass. This script handles the closing of Java-dependent applications and Java processes and uninstalls old Java versions.

Help on this issue would be much appreciated!

It turns out that this is actually a problem with Kronos Workforce Central. We had the "site.java.plugin.CLSID.familyVersion" setting in that application set to "clsid:CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA", which is the Java CLSID for Java 6. After updating this value to "clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93" (the Java universal CLSID), this problem did not occur upon the automatic upgrade of Java.
We have both Java 6 and Java 7 in our environment, and did during our Kronos implementation, so I don't know why we were using the Java 6 CLSID in the first place.

• Flash Player security Pop up when using camera and microphone.

Hello Friends
Can any body suggest me how to remove flash player security pop up for camera and microphone through coding.
Thanks in advance.

The security pop-up was first introduced with FP7. If you want to bypass it I can name two ways off the top of my head:
1. Regardless of ActionScript version (2.0/3.0) in the Flash authoring enviroment, in the Publish Settings dialogue box, the Flash tab, near the bottom choose Access Network Only from Local Playback Security.
2. Publish your movie as a projector. Both of these techniques will allow to "play" your swf file locally.

Hi All ,
When I invoke the forms services using the following url in the browser , the browser window closes :-
http://<IP-address>/forms/frmservlet
Could anyone let me know what could be the reason for this and how to resolve it.
Thanks,

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious, but it couldn't be something as simple as
http://<IP-address>/forms/frmservlet, where i don't see port's number?
That is:
http://<IP-address>: <port_number>/forms/frmservlet

• Where is the "Security" tab?

On an older cruzer micro 8 GB device, if I rt click and show properties, there is a security tab, which I can use to limit the number of people who have access to the data on the device. On a recently purchased Cruzer Glide USB flash drive, there is no security tab. I am using Windows 7. Can I get it back? I have sensitive data on the drives , and I do not want any person who logs in while I am away from the computer to gain access. The "sharing" tab just does not seem to do the job.

Ed said:I agree but I insert & extract my USB drives all the time without doing that, what am I missing?Don't you "Eject" them 1st? Error msg comes us saying close all programs & windows. The security tab you are referring to, if I understand this correctly, is a part of drives formatted with NTFS, rather than the standard exFAT or FAT32 formats and in Windows 7 you only have access to the tab from Safe Mode. Thanks for the info regarding "Safe Mode" I will look into that. I will have to also look into the formats on the drives in question. If they are different, that would explain why one has the tab and the others don't.

• Swing uimanager affecting all java programs?

I set a ton of UIManager properties like:
UIManager.put("ScrollBar.thumb", java.awt.SystemColor.activeCaption);
However, when I do this, these become the defaults for all java programs until the virtual machine is reset. This is kind of screwy!!! I set these values in one applet and change the look and feel of the java console and other applets that will be run. How is this possible? I don't know if this is a "bug" or just a poor design.
Any thoughts?

Maybe you should try just a few questions at a time?

Hi,
Exactly what's the difference between the all-java JMF and the windows performance pack? In terms of files?
TIA,
Reggie

A few features are completely unavailable on all-java, most notably capture. Other than that, it's a matter of some formats and codecs not being available (eg, MPEG-1). The list of supported media types on the JMF home page should pretty much spell it out.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store
