Do all T410s ThinkPads come with a 6-cell battery that sticks out ?

I remember reading somewhere that the 6-cell battery sticks out the side of the T410s making it awkward in appearance and in handling. Is that still true? If so, do they have something like a 4-cell that stays flush with the chassis? I could not find this as an option during the online configuration nor is it listed as an an available accessory for the T410s.

My T410 has a 4-cell and is flush. I think it was the default on the configurator I used, or at least it was an obvious option, because I didn't have to search for it. I don't know if the 6-cell sticks out or not.
I ordered using the "employee" (retired) system in the US at the end of March. Don't know if that is relevant or not. I'd try calling sales if you decide you want one.

That doesn't help the user with the serial code though.
There has to be some kind of code somewhere within the package. The disk itself does not contain one. You can look here for help with finding your serial number:

thanks for your reply but if i upgrade the new phone to ios7 I will have to erase the Iphone to start again in other to get to the page where I have to chose restore from icloud, wont this process reverse the operating system back to ios6 or is that another way to restore other than erase and reinstall. pls help

Ipods have a 1 year warranty.
If Apple determines that you ipod is defective and it is withing the warranty period, then they will replace.
Have you tried the basics from the manual? Restart, reset, restore.

Is the 30 pin conector usb cable that comes with the ipad the same that comes with the iphone?

Recently I've try to charge mi iPad 3er gen. with the usb cable 30 pin that comes with the iPhone 4S (original) via my MacBook Air, but when I had plug it into the usb port, my iPad started to make like repetitive sounds (charging, not charging sounds) and iTunes dont recognized the ipad, I was worried, so I disconnected the cable and tried it with the same that comes with my iPad and works fine, I am thinking that the usb cable from my iPhone is damaged or something, but i want to know, from the experience that some of you would have, if this is right or wrong.

Yes ur probably best to charge your iPad with the supplied iPad charger some laptops don't have enough grunt to charge the iPad if it does the charging may be slow

The TM question isn't relevant, as it isn't found on PCs. However, it should be present on a new MBP (the software, that is - you still have to designate a drive for it).

Do all T430s models come with the nVidia 5300 chipset?

We have a small inventory of T430s laptops, and only on some of them do I see the nVidia chipset listed in Device Manager, while all of them include the Intel HD 4000 chipset.
Is there a specific SKU on the T430s that include the nVidia chipset? And can the nVidia chipset be added to the T430 as an addon card, or does it come onboard the motherboard as part of the SKU only?

Some motherboards have the NVidia chip and others (most) do not. It is part of the motherboard and cannot be added later

just purchased a thinkpad tablet pc with preinstalled vista ultimate and wanna downgrade to xp. where can i get the xp install cds?
im in germany.
and is it possible i get the vista ultimate recovery cd from lenovo 'cause the recovery is only on the hard disk.

You have to burn yourself a set of recovery media using an external dvd burner. Downgrade wise, you will have to call Lenovo and see whether you are still eligible for a downgrade, which you must pay a service and handling charge.
But if you are using tablet, i suggest you stay with Vista, as the XP tablet edition is not that great.

I'm not absolutely certain I understand the term "switch-mode".
If they are referring to a power supply that can auto-sense the input voltage, such as whether it can function with 115VAC versus 230VAC, then the answer is "maybe".
Recent workstation systems will have that.
Smaller server systems will have that.
Mid-sized servers may or may not have that.
An example: Sunfire V480's were auto-sensing, whereas the V490's require a nominal 200-240VAC.
Another example: the Ultra 5 and Ultra 10 workstations had power supplies that required you to slide a selector switch.
You are going to have to provide specific models, to get accurate answers.
Alternatively, just look it up in the Sun System Handbook.

You don't need to get the SIM immediately. You can activate the 3G data option at any time. You would need to check with the cellular providers in your area for options they offer.
