Do all things that have been purchased from the iTunes Store get deleted once the iPod's firmware has been updated?

- You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. It sounds like you want to switch you syncing computer.
- To change your syncing computer you have to erase your iPod and restore the iPod. You can try making a backup of the iPod by right-clicking on the iPod under devices in iTunes and select the backup option. However, that option may not be available. If not available, and if you can't get the backup file from the old computer you will have to restore to factory defaults/new computer.
- If you update as is you iPod will be erases and replaced with what is now in the iTunes libray. App data will be lost.

You will not get recharged if you download them from the Purchased section of the iTunes Store and you are signed in with the Apple ID they were originally purchased with.

In windows 7 click on your start menu, go to the accessories, right click on the command icon and choose "run as administrator"
Once it opens type the following command...
netsh winsock reset
Hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer
IT WORKED....... cleared all the "action2 on the CPU and loads IStore perfectly -

That suggests that the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

The record companies and other content owners will not allow Apple to sell cross-border, so Apple has to have such restrictions on who can open an account in a given country's store.

how do you purchase a ringtone? i have enabled 'ringtones' in the 'general' section of itunes preferences and i am connected to the internet but i just cant see where in the itunes store to click once i am at the song i want to turn into a ringtone. help!
You don't
You have to create a ringtones. Google will find several ways to do this.

I upload a podcast each week using Podcast Maker. When I search the iTunes Store to determine if the most recent one is listed all the podcasts are in random order. This week's is #14; last week's is #1. Any ideas how to correct this? The odd thing is that when you try to subscribe to the podcasts, they are listed in the proper order.

I'm an artist with a number of CDs in the itunes store and most of the customer reviews and ratings are missing or hidden. I know there have been reviews posted but I can't see them on my computer in the itunes store. Anyone have a solution?
You aren't being left in any lurch. Your hardware is obsolete, and the software world has moved on. If you have a qualm about the matter then discuss it with the software's developers. Apple is not responsible for software they do not develop. This is technology, and you will just need to get used to it.

Firstly, give your Pod a lot of time to dry out before trying to use it - at least a week, a fortnight might even be advisable. Water takes a surprisingly long time to evaporate from inside something.

The hard drive was recently replaced on my computer and now only tracks purchased from i-tunes store show up in my library.Is there any way that i can sync from my i-pod classic back into i-tunes to replace lost tracks?

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iTunes purchases. It sounds like you may have been looking in the Account Information page, but there is a separate Purchases section you can download the songs from.
I recommend downloading your purchases directly to your computer using the Purchases page in the iTunes Store using these steps:
Download previous iTunes Store purchases to an authorized computer
Click iTunes Store near the top of the iTunes window.
Click the Purchased link at the right of the iTunes Store homepage (below Quick Links).
In the page that appears, select a category.
iTunes shows you which of your purchases are available for download. You can view all of your past purchases, or just the ones not currently in your iTunes library. Items already in your library aren’t available for download. If you select Music, you can view your purchases by song, artist, or album. If you’re viewing by album, click an album to see which songs on it are available for downloading.
To download all available items, click Download All.

Cannot purchase from UK iTunes Store
For the last 6 days I have been trying to purchase some tracks from the UK iTunes Store. Every time I try, I get the following message: "*The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time.* Payment processing is temporarily unavailable. You may continue to browse the store. Please try to make your purchase later." I have tried changing my payment details to another credit card in case that is the problem, but I get the same message if I try to edit my payment details.

Do I have to have a new/different accounts to bye from iTunes in the US? My account is Norwegian. I tired to by from the US store but it said that i only could by from the Norwegian store. When I tried to make another account for the US store it said that I already had an account and that I could use that account for purchase from the US store too... I AM CONFUSED!!!!
