Well, since you've had the same problem, with three different phones, that all use different size sim cards, it seems pretty obvious the problem is with your carrier/coverage & nothing to do with your phone or sim card.

The app called "Air Sharing" allows you to do that. Connect to a wifi network, run the program and you can mount your iphone as a drive using Finder. Upload all the PDFs you like, and you can open them from within the Air Sharing app. Also, you can view most image files, most office files, etc.

On some of the tabs I pin to the top of the browser as an "app" the website icon is simply a dotted square!? Others have the web-logo. Is there a fix for that or procedure I am missing?

Wondering why some website tabs I pin to the browser just show a small dotted square instead of the website's logo. So then, I have to hover over the tab to reveal text as to what site it is! Is there a fix for this??? Thanks

If the web site doesn't provide a Favicon, Firefox uses the default "icon". As of Firefox 8.0 that default icon is the blank dashed square, where earlier versions used an icon that was a bit narrower and looked like a sheet of paper with the upper-right corner folded over.

All videos was in AVI format and then videos was edited and converted to MOV with Windows Movie Maker (using a Windows XP) and then converted to mp4 using MP4 Conveter.

The first is the ability to view the next several calendar items I have on the home screen instead of touching the calendar to see these events. As it is, it pretty much will do what the regular Flip will do at $150 or so. Quite a deal for those who want that capability. I'm sure I will because I have it (my regular bells-and-whistles camcorder never goes anywhere anymore).

When I then tried to copy my work done in FCP Project that's originally DV PAL , into a new FCP Project that is HD, and tried reconnect media with original HD movies (video), the sequence project got distorted for all the text, shapes used and all.. everything changed its orientation and scale.. Is there a way by which I can preserve my work done on DV PAL and switch it preserving its proportions, scale and orientation, but on a HD project sequence?? Appreciate your help and advice..

Yes. A couple of ways that might work.
First Way
What you need to do is load one of your hd clips in the viewer and edit into a new HD sequence. Does it display correctionly?
OK, select the clip in the hd timeline and copy (command-c). Now go to the HD sequence with the material that's distorted. Select all (command-a) and paste attributes (option-v) and choose basic motion and distort. That should maek things work. What won't work is anything that you've adjusted as far as basic motion or distort in your PAL sequence. That I'm pretty sure you'll have to redo.
Second Way.
Choose your original PAL sequence and do a Media Manage changing the sequence preset to the appropriate HD paramenters with the media offline. You then should be able to reconnect these clips with your original HD media.

Speech to text as it currently works takes a powerful computer and a large database. It will awhile before phones are that powerful and have that much storage. Based on the trends toward cloud storage and constant connectivity, I don't see it as something companies will be interested in developing.

Of course not. Number blocking must be done by your wireless provider.
