Do apple charge?
I have a problem with my iPhone 5 (White 16GB) and there's no sound, the sound comes back only if I squeeze on the part next to the home button (bottom right side) and the sound comes back only for a short period of time. It's getting annoying, only had it since Sep. 20 2013. Do Apple Charge for sound repairs?
As long as the fault is not caused by physical or liquid damage the fault should be covered by your 1 year limited warranty. Take it to an Apple Store to be evaluated and they will let you know.

The fix is to log into your current account. Go to appleid.apple.com and change the primary email and apple id back to the old email address (doesn't matter if you have it any longer). Once the change is made, then enter your password for that account on the device. Once you get in, go ahead and go back to appleid.apple.com and change it back. That fixed mine.

No it doesn't. Sometimes it make a sound that it should when connecting but that is it. Never actually charges or syncs. And it is a brand new cord.

1. It works on a hit or miss basis, it chargers sometimes and at times it doesnt...
2. I have been reading in news that ppl get electricuted by using 3 rd party chargers? This seems serious.... However is this an issue with using 3rd party charger and/or cable? I was under the impression that, once we have a apple original charge/adaptor then using any cable should be safe from any hazard? If you didn't make an in-app purchase within the app then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
You may also want to turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off' -
