Do I get full conference call management options on iPhone 6 model A1549 if using it with GSM carriers?

I have iPhone 6 model A1549, bought from and currently using with Verizon. You all must be aware that we can use the same phone for GSM carriers like at&t as well. Now we all know that some of the features related to conference calling are not available on CDMA carriers, like we cant have more than 2 callers, and we can't manage conference calls by making the conversation with one party private for some time and again switching back to conference mode, disconnecting a particular party instead of having to end the entire call etc. reference link- iPhone: Understanding phone features - Apple Support These features are available on GSM models and carriers, I just wanted to ask if I use a GSM SIM from a GSM carrier on this model, do I get these additional conference call management options or I am restricted to Verizon like experience while being on at&t (and while using the at&t SIM in this model)

Yes, I am dealing with this right now on at&t with a 6 plus. I've been down the same road as you. I got it to work with a windows phone yesterday but not my 6 plus when I switched back to the iPhone. My wifes 6 works fine. I believe it is an at&t issue and not an 8.3 issue. After dealing through several levels of support at at&t, they are telling me it has to do with their transition to hd voice. Some people are having this issue because they are updating their system and some peoples phone profile, on phones that have hd voice capabilities, are not getting added to their line and call forwarding will not work without it. I have a trouble ticket open to their engineering dept and they promise it will work for me on or before the 24th of april. Engineering has to build my phones profile so call forwarding will work with my iPhone.
This is frustrating because like you, I need to forward my calls because I have no signal in my office and need to forward to another phone so I can get my calls. If at&t would quit dragging their feet and enable wifi calling, this wouldn't be an issue for me. I would suggest you put more pressure on at&t and escalate this until it gets resolved. Or put your sim in a phone that does not have hd voice capability and see if it works then.
Good luck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will be fixed for me on or before the 24th. We'll see.
EDIT: I see you did put it in another phone and it worked. That backs up that the issue is at&t and their hd voice upgrades. They had no explanation as to why some work and some don't, but have them make sure a profile for your phone is on the line. If not, they'll need to build one for the phone so that it''l work. At least that's the story for now. Like I said, I'll know more in a day or two.

    Haha .. I have seen one million post on this issue since 7.1 was released. Everybody hates it and it is perhaps Apple's stupidest design decision. I, personally, happen to like it ... or not mind it as much either way, I should say.
    But that's not what you asked ... Apple thought it was best for some odd reason to change the full screen pics to an itty bitty circle. As a previous poster said, it cannot be changed. But be sure to go to Apple's feedback website and let them know you are unhappy about it. I sense an iOS 7.1.1 coming out REAL soon!

    I dont know if you know the procedure in Canada and Turkey. Wind mobile wasnt supporting Iphones until they decided to let people use Iphone 5s with their $40 plan.And as i know, Turkey is the only country that asks you to register the imei on your passport to use it. So, most of people did not know it. so procedures are changing country by country. Are you sure that If I buy an Iphone 5s from a canadian apple store, use it with my wind mobile line and the turkish line in Turkey?

    Hi Just wondered if anyone can help with the above question? I had O2 phone unlocked and bought a local sim card, but although the calls are fine i have no option for internet etc.  I have done searches and got the info details from the sim provider to activate, but  instructions say i go to : Settings; General; Network and then Celluar Data Network, but I dont get that option ?  When i put back my O2 sim card, the option reappears?
    Can anyone help me please? Off to Australia again soon and really could do with it working properly this time.

    Hi Ronnie, was wondering what brand sim card you bought?
    Was it from Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Virgin or Mayasim?
    I have a 4 S running iOS 5.01 is there an option in Settings - Network - Carrier? As this should be set to the supplier of the sim card. In my Settings - Network there is no option for Celluar Data Network.
    What version of the iOS are you using?
    Some prepaid sim cards may not have a lot of data, so I suggest searching the companies websites for the best deals before you come here. Telstra usually have good plans. If you take your phone to the shop you purchased the sim card from they will usually set it up for you. 
    Telstra runs on a different frequency to others and offers the best coverage in Australia.
    Just for the record I am not an employee of any mobile company.

  • No option to enable html email. An issue with the carrier. RIM please help

    I am registered as a BIS user with STC ( Saudi Telecome.  www.stc.com.sa ). I turned out that data over the air compression is turned off! As a result , I can't enable html email. resending service book , pulling the battery and upgrading OS won't enable the html option on my blackberry bold, as it is a restriction imposed by RIM when over-the-air compression is turned off by the carrier.. I am on thier unlimited package and hence I have no problem in consuming uncompressed large amout of data. Can you please enable this feature!! I hardly see the reason not to.

  • I've lost 3/4 of my music on my iphone 4s during synchning with itunes and why can i get my itunes' library downloaded on my iphone instead of having to synch with itunes .

    help me i've lost 3/4's of my music on my iphone4s while synching and why can't i download my itunes library onto my iphone? i've tried and can't find a way. i've gone to itunes music section and checked off the artist, was that wrong? this working all so well before upgrading to ios6. what's going on?

    Incidentally, my first thought was to map a network share from the NAS to my computer, so that my music files appear on the Z: drive, say on my computer. I could then set up iTunes to store music etc in that folder, and to copy all new items to that folder. However, if I do that, all that'll happen is that on my NAS, the library file will become out of date as I add music to the collection but not to the index.

    They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
    AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

    i am having issues using my conference calling feature on my iphone. The second and or third call gets dropped about 30 seconds into the call. Is this morelikely a ATT issue or an iphone issue?

    I as well. 2nd caller get's hung up on when trying to conf to the 1st caller.
    No options for releasing callers, or holding all but 1 for a private conf, then re-joining, etc.
    My Droid does a way better job!

  • Full screen caller image not coming in nokia 5800

    Hi, 
    Previously i was getting full screen caller image in my nokia 5800 but from last week i am getting thumbnail size small image during the call. Please let me know how to fix this.

    This happens if you change the location/remove of the picture on the phone used as the caller image, since the phone just links the contact files to the picture files. Moving the picture breaks this association. You could also use Ovi Suite to embed the picture into the contact file so as to have no problems like this in the future.

    My organization have 4 Subscribers and 1 publisher between 4 different sites. version of all call manager are 5.1.3. all are running on HP Proliant server.
    I looking to upgrade to Version 8.6. Do I need to upgrade server hardware as well for upgrading latest version of call manager or I can use my old server ?

    So you're not using ADF BC at all, right ?
    From JSF point of view, it does not matter how you provide UI control values.
    What you can do, for example, is to use pure JDBC in order to get and display the database values.
    What you need in your backing bean, is appropriate properties (setter/getter method pairs).
    In the getter, you can obtain DB values by using JDBC

  • Is there a conference call/speaker phone made that is supported by iPhone?

    Is there a 'conference call accessory available for iPhone that will provide good sound, in and out, in a small conference room?

    I've not tried it yet, but some of my colleagues swear by the Jambox (by Jawbone) as something that works not only as a speaker but also as a speakerphone. It connects via bluetooth.
    I'll probably borrow one for my next call and see if it works as well as they claim ;-)

    I have a Gateway 2651XM with NM-HDV E1 (IOS 12.3(7)T). I Want to configure it with MGCP Protocol in order to be controlled by my Call Manager.
    In my configuration, I only use this 3 command :
    ccm-manager mgcp
    ccm-manager config server x.x.x.x.
    ccm-manager config
    obviously I configured the isdn switch-type.
    1- with these only commands, Is it working good? Is the gateway is able to retrieve completely and properly all his configuration? The update or change configuration on CallManager update well the gateway?
    2- During the configuration, I haved this message :"Q.931 is backhauled to CCM-MANAGER on DSL 0. Layer 3 output may not apply". Could you explain me this message?
    3- I want to use SRST. Is it compatible to use MGCP with SRST?

    It has T1 line config but similar config goes for E1 line too. It has debugs and ways to moniter as well to see MGCP is working with CM or not.
