Do I get my credit back when I drop this service

Can I get my credit back when I drop Skype?  Does anyone know how to do that?
I am frustrated with Skype after so many years of great user friendly service.
It's changed beyond explanation to a complicated, limited accesss entitiy.
Now I can't even view my contacts' numbers nor edit them.  I can not navigate past getting to see and click on my contacts' names once I sign in.  It is like we are funneled into pen and can't get out.
Their 'Help' section is a joke with it's limited suggested questions that are not relevant to the most commmon problems.  Having spent at least 30 min. trying to get  questions answered on the 'Help' section of Skype, I can find no answers.

    Apple usually offers a refund one time. You need to decide if this purchase is the one that you wish to use that one-time refund with.

    I have a Sonos system in my house and suddenly discovered that many songs I bought off of iTunes years ago are 'grayed out' when I try to play them from my iPhone or do not appear as options at all when I try to play them on Sonos from my overall music library.  It's well over 100 songs I bought back before mid-2009 when Apple dropped this DRM thing.     I agree it was not all communicated real well, but in your case it will work out.  You missed the program where you could have upgraded 100 tracks for 30 cents each (=$30) but now you can do it via Match (=$25).  It works pretty simply, per this document:

    Yes. If you subscribe to iTunes Match, you can download your previously purchased music again in the iTunes Plus format. To do so:
    You need to delete the original DRM song from your library first. Doing this enables you to download the song again in the iTunes Plus format from iTunes in the Cloud.
    Click the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store.
    Click Music.
    Locate the artist of the song you want to upgrade.
    Click the iCloud Download icon next to the song you want to upgrade.
    Just don't forget to put the Plus files on your hard drive -- properly backed up of course -- and to cancel the Match subscription before the second year rolls around!

    Contact the credit card company and have them do a charge back.
    Tell them the device was not new, and it was broken on receipt, tell them you cancelled the service and that you want your money back.
    They will reverse the charge
    The return phone not received scam is quite often posted here. Just search the forum. All you need is a tracking receipt to show it was given to the post office, or even scanned any place along the way and you are not liable.
    Small claims court just loves these cases.

    Contact Apple directly at 1 800 692 7753.  Explain you would like a refund on your iCloud storage.  They will be able to look up your purchase, and verify if you successfully cancelled it or not.  They can also ensure it is cancelled.

    It sounds like you may have a 2nd generation iPod. If so, it can not be upgraded beyond 4.2.1. The Apps you are trying to load are compatible with a higher version of the iOS.

    As  Winston Churchill wrote, however you might want to do a factory reset on the Apple TV.
    This way all information pertaining to your daughter will be removed from the device. Specifically if see was sign into any of the streaming service, Netflix, Hulu, etc. her credentials will still be associated with this Apple TV, doing  a factory reset will remove all that and make it as if you purchased the device and just plugged it in.

    If the app is still in your country's store, and you haven't changed countries since buying it and you are logged in with the same account that you bought it with, then you should be able to redownload it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your device, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes

    I have had experienced this more than a couple of times with purchases from the App Store.
    Your product should have a support link, either on their web page or under Help.  Go to there and submit a message about the fault you experience and the company should get back to you relatively quickly (not Apple, but the vendor).
    I live in Australia and after purchasing my third app that didn't work I submitted a help request and in the end the company (after I sent a copy of the App Store receipt) issued me with a serial number I could use and downloaded the product from their website.  This only took two days - not bad considering time diff (company was in US).  Support person was very helpful.
    Trust me, they want your business.  If you experience a problem, chances are others are too. 
    I no longer purchase apps from the App Store without trialling them first.  Since there are no trial apps on App store, I always go to vendors website.
    While I understand Apple is not responsible for the third party apps found in the App Store, the duds that are in there sure are breeding a lot of frustration for Mac users. 
    Side note - my sister recently purchased Norton Antivirus for Mac - after trying to get it to open the activation window so I could enter the Product Key (for two days!) we are now in the process of getting our money back from Symantec.  While you may not have any luck with the App Store, you may find you have luck with the actual vendor (software producer), get onto their tech support and you may be pleasantly surprised.
