Do I have a virus?... please help
At the beginnig when I switch on the mac, on my display appears an image of a world which flickers and then disappears in about five seconds, running the OS normally. What does it mean?. Do I have a virus?... please help!

You don't have a virus since there are no viruses that currently affect or infect OS X which just had its 6th birthday.
Try reselecting your startup volume (or system) at System Preferences > Startup Disk and then perform a restart.

I have bought the whole CC and it says my trial has expired. But when i go to license the software, it asks for a serial number and i dont have one. Please help.
Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.
Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate.
1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.
/etc
3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
When asked Authenticate with your Mac password.
Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.
Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check. -

You will have to contact the previous owner, only he/she can remove the phone from their account. You don't have any contact details for the person that you bought the phone from, email address, phone number, postal address ? If you can't contact them then you won't be able to reactivate and use the phone.

1. Ethernet .. are you using ethernet?
2. Change the name of the TC to short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
3. In the file sharing page change the workgroup to WORKGROUP.
4. In the same area, change the guest access to on read and write.
5. If you setup homegroup on the PC get rid of it.. TC is not compatible with homegroup.
6. Turn off ipv6 in the network settings for ethernet. (since you are going to be using ethernet).
From Mac version utility it looks like this.
Go to the admin tools and ensure that bonjour for windows is on.
Manually type the IP directly into windows explorer.. do not open via MyComputer.

Hi, I have just bought another ipod, I have now a 60GB video ipod and a new 8GB ipod. Does it pose any problem when synchronising ? Can they have different names ? ThksYou can name your iPod whatever you like. If you are connecting a second iPod for your own use, just connect it to your computer and it will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update the whole library, selected playlists or you can manage it manually.
When using a small capacity iPod like the Nano with a large library, you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" (called Sync Music - All songs and Playlists in iTunes 7). This would allow you to create a playlist specifically for your Nano and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Nano (around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB). Hi guys Ive had my mac book pro for 3 years. Recently i keep getting pop ups from strange sites but primarily mac keeper. i haven't downloaded anything but my sister was watching a movie online a couple of days ago and I think thats were it came from. So firstly every time i go to my Safari Preferences and change my homepage, i close everything, and when i open it I'm brought to the same page which is something called only-search.com. Its ALWAYS my home page no matter how i try to change it. Another thing is that when i type in a search, the little text on the right says google search but when i actually search for it, it always goes to a yahoo search. The popups seem to come randomly when I click on websites. They open new tabs and promote their crap. Please help!
