Do I have it or not?
After badgering my IT dept for what seems an age, I finally had version 10.0.45.2 downloaded on to my lap
top. However when I go to a site that used to require me to upgrade I still cannot see any content. The Adobe site assures me I'm up to date. So why am I unable to view? I have Kaspersky 6.0.2.678 on the laptop, windows xp and so i'm told when I'm at work, I am connected via a server? As you can guess I'm not that savy with computers so any help you can offer would be most appreciated.
If it helps I have managed to "see" just once since updating and now it seems to have stopped?!?
Thanks, :-) Well, IE6. Nothing stops IE6 except a Firewall or an Anti-Virus. Go to that Flash folder and delete/remove that unwanted guest and reboot!!
Then go to Tools, Manage add ons and check in "currently loaded" and "have been used" for Shockwave Flash Object..
ActiveX Control...Flash 10e.ocx and make sure that is listed since that is vs 10.0.45.2 and it is Enabled.
Don't do anything with it, just post back that info.

But when I go to update it states you have purchased items not backed up are you sure you want to update now? So I go back and check it for all my apps and they are all there on the computer in itunes. I still have the original iso 4.3.3 please help as all
Even though you think that all of your apps and purchased content is in iTunes, transfer your purchases using these instructions and then try and update again.

If you are receiving an alert about purchased items that have not been transferred from your iPad, you may want to try initiating the transfer from iTunes to see if that may correct it. You may find the following article helpful:

My phone is not showing up in itunes. I want to sync it. I have a MAC and I have restarted the phone, it's charged, I have the most current version of itunes. What do I do now? It says to reinstall itunes if you have windows but not for mac. Help!
With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page. I don't want to have to check off an additional 5 or 6 attributes each time I print out contact information. Is there a way to change the default setting for printing lists, so it is not just "phone," "photo," and "job title?"
I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone. -

I used to be able to open separate windows with Firefox, and the content could be completely different in each window. No matter what I did in any window, no OTHER window open at the time, nor any of the content therein, was affected. This is no longer the case and it is extremely frustrating for me.
I do ''not ''like tabs and do not use them. I prefer multiple windows plus I am so used to using them, for so many years now! But with v9.0.1 I suddenly can no longer do what I've always done with my browser without this aggravating problem constantly reminding me that I can't have what I want in firefox anymore.
Or can I? Does anyone have a solution I don't realize exists?

Note that a view is not the same as a window, and a window can have multiple views. There are also many ways to implement "tabs"; take a look at some of Apple's applications - they use various mixtures of toolbars, checkboxes, and radio buttons, for example. An application such as this will be a lot more involved than what you have done so far though, using custom classes and subclassing existing ones, so be prepared to do a lot of reading and researching. -
Do u have to have a computer/pc to use home sharing? I have apple tv not sure if it's 2nd or 3rd generation or even if it's first generation. My laptop is broken and in the shop, can I run my apple tv off my iPad?
If you have home sharing turned on in the settings of your apple tv and your iPad you can AirPlay from your iPad to the apple tv. When you play a video there is a tv icon on the right side of the play/pause/fwd/rwd icons. Click that and choose your apple tv. Your apple tv and iPad must be on the same network.

I have Lightroom 6 (not CC) on a Windows machine. I'm prompted to log into Creative Cloud when I restart my computer (I don't have, use, or pay for Creative Cloud), and then when I launch Lightroom, it tells me to use the application I have to log into my Adobe account...AGAIN! And then to further add insult to injury, I'm prompted to enter in the license number of my product. I've gone through this process a dozen times now...SCREAM!!!

Finally if you are in a managed environment then please work with your I.T. department to apply the update. -
Maybe my title says to much. I have multple contacts, notes, sometimes just two, sometimes 14. I upgraded to Mt. Lion and that may be an issue or maybe syncing is the issue. It is making me crazy/er! I have 4 e-mail contact lists and that may be part of the issue with e-mail but why duplicate notes? I am stumped. Please give your thoughts for a solution. I have deleted the duplicates from iPhone (3gs, iMac, and iPad2).

JimI forgot to say that the duplicate entries return after I have deleted them. Strange to me is why do some contacts show up as many as 14 times. I am suspecting that there could be an issue with iCloud or iTunes. Truly a mystery to me for now.

You can sync as many iphones/ipods/ipads as you like to one computer/library.
Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want, sync

I want to sync tasks in Outlook with my iPhone. I have tried Toodledo (not good) and Todo. Todo works, but it cuts off most of the text. I only get the beginning of my (long) lists. Any ideas how I can solve this problem? I starting to regret that I switched to iPhone...
Usually if you have some kind of hardware failure there is some beeping during POST or most motherboards now have LED indicators to produce and error message based on the type of failure
So if its bad memory, not place properly, mismatched, processor not inserted properly, mismatched voltage or voltage connector not present etc it beeps or generates the error id.
Power supplies can be tested for failure. There are some walk throughs for testing just them with a switch, paperclip or a jumper (I'd suggest not doing this if you are not familiar with the dangers of electricity).
Memory can be tested with memory diagnostics programs like Memtest+
Processors can overheat if the proper precautions have not been taken usually you will get a POST beep or error code for that.
If the motherboard has no response then do the basics first:
Check power connectors and power supply. Once you determine that is not the case move on to other items like graphics cards in all the way or memory.

Why does drop shadow on text only work when you rotate?
I can't get the drop shadow to work on text while keeping it aligned horizontal. Seems to only show up it I rotate the text. Goes away when I put back horizontal. Frustrating. Just want to drop shadow text with out rotating. Can anyone advise on this
