These are called Access Modifiers;
1. Public - can be accessed by any other class. If the keyword is missing, access to the class is limited to the current package
2. Private - can be invoked only by code in the same class
3. Protected - can be invoked only by code in a subclass or the same package
4.Static - is not an instance variable
5. Synchronized - acquires a lock when it begins execution.

I did the 1.1.3 update, and all it did was make the dock look ugly like the iphone "cheese grater". The only thing kinda cool was the new video chapter browser, but i could skip chapters in 1.1.2, so big deal.
The really annoying thing was that in the settings>reset page it has "reset home screen layout" even though you can't change the order of the icons!
Also, you can't save safari pages to the home screen without forking over the $20.
I want back the sleek look of 1.1.2...

Having trouble with Mercury Engine, do I have this right?

Ok, so after many months of looking for a replacement for Sony Vegas Pro we decided that the Adobe solution was the best option for our needs and bought a license for CS5 and two new machines for our video editing.
The desktop is a poweful beast with the latest and greatest installed, and we also invested in a new laptop which was custom built for on the road editing. This laptop includes the GeForce GTX285M graphics engine but for some reason the Mercury engine within CS5 is not working with this card.
Can someone explain why this is the case and what the solution may be? I am new to Adobe software so have I installed evrything correctly or is there something I need to install or change within the program to get the mercury engine working with the card. I have tried the usual route with the drop down for Renderer but it is greyed out. Help?

Hardware acceleration doesn't work, officially, with any laptop GPU chipset at this time. Search around here for the "GPU hack."

When is Grid Control 11 due out ???? Let me see if I have this right......

I have to install GC 10.2.0.1 (which uses an Oracle 10.1 database).
Then I have to upgrade the Oracle DB to 10.2.0.3, by first installing a new 10.2.0.1 ORACLE_HOME and applying the 10.2.0.3 patchset.
Then I have to apply the Grid Control 10.2.0.4 patchset.
If I wait for the next release for Grid Control (11), how long will I have to wait?
Another question. Can I install the 10.2.0.3 DB, then install Grid Control into an existing database and then run the grid control 10.2.0.4 patchset? What's the best approach?

You can precreate a 10.2.0.3 database and then when you install GC, just choose the option to install on an exsiting database.
Then patch GC to 10.2.0.4...
No idea about 11g

is that enabling the 'evalScripts' option will result in
<script> blocks being executed when loading an HTML fragment
into the panel BUT IT WILL NOT (for the sake of discussion)

The HTML panel evals the found <script> in to the page
where the panel has been found. If u include the functions in the
script block of the page that the HTML panel is loading. There
should not be any problem.
And yes, u can also include the scripts in the primary page.
Both should work.

I think I have this right, but if you guys could follow me along for a minute....
I want to have two websites.
Right now I have built one site on iWeb but have not done anything else with it. When I have this complete I what to upload (with FTP) to a web hosting service (not .mac)
The second site (I have not built yet) I want to upload to .mac. I do not have a .mac account right now.
So, let's say I finish the first site today (for the web host service) if I load this to a file folder then upload with an FTP program this should be good?
Then let's say a couple of days later I build another site on iWeb for a .mac account can I do this?
Will this work or will I have to use iWebsites program to run two websites? Does anyone have my set up and use iWebsites?
I run iWeb 08.
Any help or thoughts would be great.

Use iWebSites or Multisite to maintain two separate domain files for your websites like Mireille described. Then it's so very easy to keep the two apart and publish which ever one you want.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />

What's the error when you create a computer variable manually?
Please make sure you have give "Modify Resource" permission to this user. You could see it in Administration workspace -> Security -> Security Roles -> Full Administrator -> Collections -> Modify Resource.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
