Do I have to buy another copy of PhotoShop?

My 14 year old daughter received a Wacom tablet for Christmas. We did not know she would need access to PhotoShop. I have a copy on my laptop for my personal use as a very amateur photographer. Do I have to buy a whole other copy of PhotoShop for her computer?

Yes. Technically, your TOS states that only one copy can be used at a time -- home/office or desktop/laptop for example.
If you need to purchase a copy specifically for your daughter, Cozmicone's suggestion is a good option. Another option would be to join the Creative Cloud's Photography Plan for $10/mo which includes PS CC Extended and Lightroom.

You're allowed to have it installed and activated on two computers at once but you can never copy an installed copy of PSE. You need to install it from scratch on the Mac Pro. If you need the file, you can download it here:

What Russa is saying is that if you don't save "Install OS X Mountain Lion.app" before you install you'll need to download it again each time. It's important to save it before you install because it self-destructs after restart.

You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.

Hello. I have Adobe Captivate 6 and wanting to upgrade. How can I upgrade to the new Captivate 8 since I do not have 7 or access to 7? Doesn't make since I'd have to buy another full version opposed to simply upgrading what I have. Please help.

It stinks that there isn't an upgrade option from 6, but it's due to the new subscription option for Captivate which actually ends up being far cheaper for you in the long run. Captivate 7 came out a little over a year ago the upgrade for that was the same as the 7 to 8 upgrade. As the upgrade is $400 and a subscription is only $20 per month, or $240 for a year, you'll end up saving money should the next upgrade come out in another year.

No Family Pack any more. You buy it once and then you can install on as many computers as you "own or control" meaning however many are registered on the App Store under the same Apple user ID. But unless you save a copy of the installer before you first run it, you will have to download it again each time for each additional computer, becasue it is erased after you use it (unless you move it out of your Applications folder first). What do you mean by "multiple"? I have a total of 3 so I put a copy of the installer on a USB drive and also burned a copy to a DVD. Instuctions are in a number of threads here, so do a forum search.
