Do i have to buy lightroom again when i switch to a iMac from a pc?

You don't have to buy it again.  The license you own is cross-platform.

Version 11.0.4 does not have a "BUY ALL" selection when I go to purchase item from MY WISHLIST. I have to purchase each song individually......A bit tedious don't ya think?

Other people have commented about the same thing - you can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe it'll be brought back in a future update : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

When i want to download a bought movie... It says that i have to buy it again, what do i have to do?

What happened to the 4 movies that you purchased and downloaded direct with your iPad?
Were the movies deleted from your iPad before the movies were transferred from your iPad to your iTunes library on your computer?
If the movies were deleted from your iPad before transferring the movies to your iTunes library on your computer, you will need to purchase the movies again.

  • I had Iphoto on my computer when i bought it and now had to reinstall a new hard drive do i have to buy it again?

I had Iphoto on my computer when i bought it and now had to reinstall a new hard drive do i have to buy it again?

    reinstall from the original source
    Could be
1 - the restore disks that came with the computer
    or
2 - the iLife DVD that you purchased
    or
3 - the app store - log in under the Apple id used to purchase the software or to set up the computer - look under purchases - you might have to unhide or accept the Application first

  • Lost discs, do I have to buy logic again?

Lost data disc due to fire. I still have the serial numbers via email from apple.
when i buy a new mac mini next friday do i have to buy it again?

    Hey sekhem
I don't know a definite answer to your question but I have some experience with the Apple staff in my country. Apple is very well organized and they know who registered their software digitally after the installation.
I once bought a Logic Pro 9 Upgrade for a colleague as he had Logic Express. It was the wrong upgrade however, it was the upgrade from Logic Pro 8 to Logic Pro 9 and NOT the upgrade from Logic Express to Logic Pro 9. So I tried to bring it back and replace it with the correct upgrade version.
The friendly Apple salesperson looked up if the copy of Logic had been already activated (which was not the case as the colleague realized it was the wrong upgrade version when he tried to install it) and by paying the difference I could get the correct upgrade. Even though the box was opened!
To cut a long story short: Apple knows if you registered the software and I'm sure if you ask in one of the Apple shops and give them your name and your serial number they might organize discs for you. I was pleasantly surprised about the Apple customer care several times so it sure doesn't hurt to ask.

  • Hi, I am using Lightroom 5. How do I upgrade to Lightroom 6? Or do I have to buy Lightroom 6 as a new software on its own?

    Hi Randolf
Link for German Store - Adobe Deutschland | Software
When you click on 'Kaufen' there is a dropdown box for 'Vollversion' or 'Upgrade'.
    Hope this helps.

  • I have aperture 3.4.4, which does not work with Yosemite. Is there a way to upgrade my Aperture version, or do I have to buy Aperture again?

I have aperture 3.4.4, which does not work with Yosemite. Is there a way to upgrade my Aperture version, or do I have to buy Aperture again?

If you own any version of Aperture 3, you are entitled to a free update. Only it can be tricky, if your version is not associated with your AppleID, because you bought it with a serial number.
Have you checked, if you can see an update at the App Store Updates page? Or an "Accept" button on the Purchases tab of the app Store?
Contact the AppStore Support and request a redeem code, to be able to buy the update for free. You will need to provide a proof op purchase of Aperture.
    Use this link: http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact/
Apple sent redeem codes for Aperture 3.6 to several users who had bought the version on disks, if they could provide a serial number.  See for example this discussion: (The post marked as the solution)
Re: Aperture update not possible after update to Yosemite
It is really unfortunate you missed the window of opportunity with Mavericks MacOS X 10.9.5, when the update was easy.

  • Why are my movies not avaiabel in my purchased articles ? do i have to buy them again ?

i want to download some of the movies i bought in the store again because i got a new macbookpro. when i go to the section "purchased articles" i cant find any movies . only music apps and books . So my question : Do i have to buy them again ?

No, you shouldn't have to - are you going to the Mac App Store or the iTunes store? If the iTunes store, just make certain that you're using the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the movies. If you have any problems, contact  iTunes store support - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/.
    Good luck,

Be aware of the Mountain Lion upgrade problem.

I downloaded Lion from the App Store on to my iMac and did not save it to a thumb before installing.  Do I have to buy it again to install  it on my Macbook Pro and iPad,  or is there another way to do that?
All my electronics are about a year old.   iPad is Model MB293LL (4.2.1) only wi-fi - no phone.
MacBook Pro is  OSX 10.6.8 Build 10K549.  Also have an AT&T iPhone that I basically use as a Palm, since I changed carriers.
    Thank you for your help.
ps: I got an error message and it looks like this did not get posted the first time.  2nd try.

Open the Mac App Store on your MacBook Pro
Hold the Option key and click on “Purchases”
Hold the Option key and click on “OS X Lion” from the purchased app list
“Installed’ should now say “Install” which allows you to download OS X Lion.
This assumes you are using the same Apple ID on both computers.
Lion does not get installed on an iPad. It runs iOS.

  • I bought an iphone 5 about 4 months ago and got applecare. yesterday I had to get on a different plan within the same company so i traded in my phone and got a new iphone 5. can i transfer my applecare to this new phone or would I have to buy it again?

I bought a 16gb iphone 5 about 3 months ago and got applecare. yesterday I had to get on a different plan within the same company so i traded in my phone and got a new 32gb iphone 5. can i transfer my applecare to this new phone or would I have to buy it again?

As this is a WW forum with different AppleCrare offerings you need to specify which Country
as in North America has AppleCare+ and everywhere else AppleCare ,very different products
So to avoid incorrect guidance suggest you specify Country
