Do I have to delete all of my itunes?!
I got my iPod last christmas and I had over 500 songs on itunes, some of which i bought but most i put on from my cd's. My computer recently crashed and I had to send it in to get fixed, when I got my computer back, i had to reinstall itunes (this happened twice, and the first tmie my songs were easily replaced) but the second time, Itunes wouldn't let me download anything until I installed the new itunes, and when I did ALL of my old songs deleted. I'm afraid to hook my iPod up to the computer in case it updates my iPod and elaves me from 489 songs to zero! How do I get my songs from my ipod back onto the computer? Is it possible?!xox

You may try "ipod2pc" a utility, Free off the internet that rips from the ipod and places to PC.

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
I am trying to update my iPhone4 to the iOS7 but I do not have enough storage. I don't know how to get more storage. I have already deleted all of my pictures, apps, music, and text messages. However, it's still says I do not have enough storage. I don't know what to do!!
If you cannot clear enough room on the device to do the update via the phone, then connect the phone to the computer and iTunes and update that way.

Why have you deleted all the common search engine in the search engine box. It appears that all you want to do is irritate your public!
They have not been deleted, as they are not present in your computer it indicates there is a problem with your system. Try removing the search.sqlite file as shown in the "Unable to search" section of this link - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_search_or_add_new_engines
That file contains details about the installed search engines, deleting the file will force Firefox to rebuild the list. -

Unless you stop using your computer immediately and purchase file recovery software, the answer is 'No'. It's a deliberate process to delete all your email, so that makes me wonder why you were messing around with it, or not paying attention to what you were doing.
This is exactly type of situation where you need to have a bootable backup of your entire hard drive. -

I tried to restore them from backup however, it restored to certain date and it still lacks about 2 months. Is there a way to get those important 2 months?

I have about 14 gbs of Other on my iPad. After searching, I notice that it is mostly photos. Years and years of photos. However, when I sync thru iTunes on my iMac, I only sync the last 6 months. I have tried deleting all photos and syncing again. No luck. Any suggestions?
Read the User Tip that razmee209 linked for you in the post above. If nothing in there works, there May be something on your iPad that is corrupt. Backup the iPad, restore to factory settings, and them restore the backup. If that doesn't fix it, restore as new and download all of your purchased content again.

Deleted all music in itunes upgrading to 7.0.6.29; how do i get it back?
i recently ugraded itunes 7.0.6.29 and managed to (accidently) delete all music in itunes. i am now having to go into all my music, folder by folder, to import the files back into itunes. 3500 done, 5000 to go. AArrrgh. any ideas how to do it faster? i would like to get the playlists back that i ahve on my ipod but i dare not try to sync it in case it wipes the ipod as well. this idiot would appreciate any help he can get.
If your iPod is set to update automatically you just need to take care connecting to a changed iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7.3 or later installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that way you can continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it until you can restore your songs and playlists: Managing content manually on iPod

i have 5 devices all on one itune account.i have not activated icloud because i dont want it to sync all our information together. is there a way to set it up to only sync the music together and not the contacts photos messages etc
Unless you subscribe to iTunes Match, iCloud doesn't sync music. Just set up every person's devices on a separate iCloud account and your iCloud data and photo stream will remain separated. Each iCloud account will need a separate ID, but it does not need to be the same as your iTunes ID. You can continue to share the same iTunes ID and maintain separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs for iCloud.
You'll also want to use separate IDs for each person for iMessage and FaceTime. This will keep your text messages and FaceTime called separated as well. The easiest way to do this is to have everyone use their iCloud ID for these two services as well. -
I want to change from the US iTunes store to the Australian iTunes store but i have to spend all of my iTunes credit first, what the **** will I spend 60 cents on? Should I have purchased unwanted music to the exact value to change country? Why cant I just agree to wipe the credit? it's less than one dollar. Why can't I just transfer it at going market rates (or even cent for cent) when it is only such a small amount and I would make a profit? You cannot use another countrys itunes store.
You must be physically locates inside the borders of a country to use that countrys itunes store and a credit card issued in that country with a valid billing address in that country.
The owners of the distribution rights of movies/music/etc differ by country. These distributors decide who can sell their content in that country.
Buy from another source if your countrys itunes store does not carry somehting that you want. -

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings

I asked a question about deleting deleted emails but after trying to delete all mail, it said no mail but it still keeps reappearing. The mail icon on the main screen says I have thousands of emails. I've rebooted, hit the trash one by one but they still come back! I'm going nuts!
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Do i have to delete all files on my external hard drive, to make a Backup of my Macbook?

I Have a MacBook Pro, and i want to make a Backup of it (with help from Time Machine.)
- To a external hard drive, but, i have one little issue, and that is that i already have other files on that external hard drive, (from other computers..) but when a start up Time Machine, it want me to delete all thoose files, (which i wouldn't!)
So what can i do, if i want to make a backup of my mac, on a external hard drive, where there already are other files on which i don't want to delete?

To add to Barney-15E's point, not only must the drive be formatted correctly, but the volume or partition being used for Time Machine (TM) must be used for TM and for TM only. You indicate that you want to store other files on this hard drive. That's fine. But those files should be stored in a separate partition and NOT the partition that will be mapped to TM. TM backs up incrementally. It will automatically delete the oldest back-ups as space is required for newer back-ups. Any files stored in the TM partition that are not stored anywhere else will, eventually, be deleted.
