I am planning to sell my iPod Classic on eBay and want to make sure I don't miss any details before I sell it. Don't want the eventual buyer to have any issues.

Yes the Restore will erase everything and put the iPod to factory defaults.
Of course, being conscientious, you may want to do a Disk Diagnostic, and tell the buyer the health of the Hardisk. Refer to this post by tt2.

Airplay is a wireless streaming protocol. It allows content to be pushed from the iPad through the Apple TV onto your connected HDTV.
If she wants to see the iPad displayed on the big screen and/or play games that involves mirroring. As long as it's an iPad 2 (or later) then you will be fine. More info on both has been referened below

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice!

That comes with iOS 5 (Settings>General>About>Version) and only the 3G abd later iPods can go to iOS 5 or later

It could be an indication or a damaged or dying hard drive. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread. He also covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

Can i use anything else to sync my ipod?

i keep having the message that my ipod cannot be updated as there is a missing file. I've followed the guide on here and have reinstalled it etc and followed advice on here, but it still doesn't work.
I'm sick of i-tunes, can I use anything else to put songs on my ipod? I know that media player doesn't recognise ipods, but is there something else I can download to put songs on.

These programs will all let you manage an iPod however there are a couple of things that they won't do:
a) You won't be able to update the firmware on your iPod if a new version comes along. The iPod software updater is integrated into iTunes 7
b) If purchasing iTunes Music is something you wanted to do you won't be able to buy from the iTunes Music store.

I have an 80gb 5th gen. Using it with my Windows XP it was fine. I recently got a Windows Vista HP laptop and it worked fine until today, when I plugged it in and transfered music, iTunes froze midway. So I unplugged the iPod and iTunes closed. I plugged it in again and the blue screen came up saying there was a memory dump needed and it restarted the PC.
Additionally to crashing my PC, it messed up my iPod software so now I cannot listen to music or videos. The files are still on the iPod when I check through disk mode, but when I use the iPod itself no songs or movies show up. Some of the songs on the iPod when viewed through disk mode are also unrecognized when played through windows media player, a few are fine however but still do not show up on the iPod.
The files are still there when you use disk mode, but when you use the iPod no files show up. When I plug in my iPod to iTunes it says the iPod files are not readable by iTunes and that I must restore my iPod to company settings. Is there any way I can repair my iPod without having to restore it and erase all my music/videos, I have 74GB of media and some things are not on my computer anymore. Is it possible to restore the iPod to an earlier savepoint? I do not know if the iTunes program automatically creates backup points but if there is a way please let me know. I am very very reluctant to restore my iPod to company settings so help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I have exactly the same problem i use a 60 GB video ipod which shows that i tunes cant play content from the ipod when i connect it to any computer after connecting to the HP laptop that had vista on it. so please if someone knows how to fix it without loosing the media from the ipod tell me how to do it! i got 6500 songs on there!

Like LexSchellings said, simply plug it in, configure to sync however you like, and then actually sync away. Basically, you can do the same thing you did with your first iPod.
There is no limit to the number of iPods, iPads, or iPhones you can sync with one iTunes library, computer, or account.

Two years ago my husband bought me a 120G ipod classic. It only has 15 songs on it- I never used it because I got an iphone shortly after (it is on my husband itunes account.
The laptop I had it married to died and is unusable. The email address I used on that itunes account I no longer have access to. When I try to answer the security questions it says my birthday is incorrect. (this is just SO frustrating to me)I am now stuck...
So I have this ipod and I cannot find away to actually use it- it is wed to this other account that I cannot access. I would like to let my son have it.

Thank you so much. There was also a problem with my new laptop recognizing this ipod- so I had to reinstall the driver, which I did. I was also able to sync it to my husbands itunes account. I lost the songs on it- but I have no issue with it.

I'v scoured the pages here and nothing, I mean nothing works with AIM users. Does anyone have a sure fire way of making this work, without having the end users ( AIM ) do all sorts of crazy changes on their end just to satisfy our small 3% or users versus 95% Windows users?

I know of people on the cable service from Cox and they have a cable modem that does not route.
This means if they want to use multiple computers and possibly go WiFi they have to add a router of some sort.
