Now just waiting for my network provider  ( BT )  to come thursday as my broadband speed is shocking since i went to unlimited broadband. My current speed just tested at speedtest.net was 0.46mbps download :-( and 0.36 upload when i was getting 3.56mbps before.
so not a happy at all.....
Sounds odd - I'm not with BT but just going to 'unlimited' shouldn't cause a drop in speed unless they're applying traffic shaping/controls differently at peak times or something.
Did you go from the up to 8Mbps servive to up to 20Mbps service too?
My exchange has just had the 21CN service added which will potentially allow me to go onto the up to 20Mbps service but as I tend to get 3-4Mbps connections it probably won't help at all anyway.  I really ought to take the plunge and go for the Virgin 100/10 service.
