DO I HAVE TO PAY TO CREATE A PDF ?

Do i have to pay to create a pdf ? I tried adobe workspace but it only proposes a mensual o annual subscription

But, if you are still getting the message that you need to pay then
1. Check the app you are running. It probably isn't Acrobat. Could be Adobe Reader.
2. If it's Acrobat please let us see a screen shot (DON'T email it!)

  • Why do I have to pay to create a PDF in Acrobat X Pro when I have owned it for quite awhile?

I have been needing to create a portfolio with my designs and I need numerous files to make one PDF. I know how to do it, but apparently, I have to pay now. I NEVER had to pay a few years ago, and when I actually need this, I have to fork out money when I have already spent it on the software. Is there a solution to for this, or do I have submit and pay for my existing software?

  • Do I have to pay for creating a iTunes or pay for the apps??

    - Okay, I'm new to iTunes, do we have to pay for creating a iTunes with a monthly fee? Or pay by the drink? (Meaning: Pay for the apps that's not free.)

iTunes is a Free Download... Apps are either Free or Cost money... depending on the App.

    Hi,
This looks like you clicked under the Adobe Online Services tab.
Also, subscription policy is only for online services. You dont pay every month for keeping a software.
Anyways, could you provide with a little more details about what versions of OS and Acrobat are you using.
Also, are you able to open Acrobat successfully or is there some error? Does that also happens with Reader?
(I am assuming that you are trying to create a PDF offline.)

How can I get a newsletter created in PDF format to appear in the body of an email I send, rather than attach it.

You cannot. (A few email programs might show it automatically; you cannot stop that either).

  • If I have a CC subscription, do I still have to pay to create PDF's on iPhone?

    Hi,
I have a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.  I am trying to use the Camera to PDF function in the Adobe Reader iOS app on iPhone.  It looks like I need an additional subscription of $9.99/mo to do this.  Is this really true?
Is there not a way to create PDF's on mobile with a CC subscription?

Yes. The PDF Pack (required to create pdf files using Reader) isn't included in the CC Suite.

    Not that I'm aware of.

  • Do you have to pay to create an iTunes account?

A friend of mine has an iPod Touch and would obviously like to download apps and music.  Unfortunately, she says when she tried to create an account, she found out she had to nominate an amount to spend each month.
We did not have to do this when we set up all three of our accounts in our family - why would this family have to?
    Any ideas?

I set up an account in my iPhone without a credit card or anything like that. The only thing that apple has of mine are an email address and my actual address. If that's what you want make sure you're not signed into any account in the app store on your iDevice. Find an app that you want that's free and hit install when it says create an account or log in hit create account. Fill out everything as you normally would but when you get to payment options under the credit card varieties there will be the various ones and there will be an option "none" just hit none and finish making your account and that's all you need to do. Keep in mind though that you will only be able to download free apps, if you would like to purchase them you would have to set up a credit card or something like that to your account.

  • How can you create a pdf report to attach to an email?

I have a need to create a PDF report with graphics and signature and somehow attached the PDF document to and email to send out. This is all hopefully done in my APEX application. Has anyone done anything similar?

I have several projects that use PL/PDF - with the pdf form filling API's - to populate pdf form and then attach the output to a BLOB variable in PL/SQL - which can then be attached to e-mail, displayed to user's browser, and saved into a BLOB column in a table. If you are comfotable with coding PL/SQL packages, this is not difficult to do at all.
The goodness of PL/PDF is that it is composed of PL/SQL packages with some wrapped Java programs - the output is generated directly from the database. You don't need to deal with the complexity and security concerns of calling an external Java middle tier to return the document. However, if you are not comfortable with PL/SQL coding, this may be a lot of work because the software does not have a report designer like Oracle BI Publisher, which costs more than $90K to run on a 2-CPU Server.
    Thanks.

  • Batch create multiple pdf's while using epilogue.ps for setting initial view and opening bookmarks

    Hi,
I'm trying to batch create multiple pdf's from word files, and use the epilogue.ps file for setting the initial view and opening the bookmarks panel, but i keep getting no satisfying result.. i'm probably missing something fundamental.
I've read some forum posts and adobe help posts explaining this, so i'm pretty sure this would be possible?
    Reference:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7f0f.w .html  see advanced panel options
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7f14.w.html
    System: Windows 7
    Acrobat: Acrobat X professional
i've searched for and found a way to overwite the epilogue.ps file and have inserted the following:
%  Insert your custom PostScript here...
    [ /PageMode /UseThumbs
    /Page 1 /View [/Fit ]
    /DOCVIEW pdfmark
After that i checked my Adobe Acrobat preferences, and in the categorie 'Convert to Pdf' i selected 'Microsoft office word' in the select area 'Converting to pdf'.
Clicked 'Edit settings' to allow creating a joboptions file (field: 'adobe pdf settings') which has the option 'Use epiloque.ps and prologue.ps' checked in the advanced section.
So now i thought i would have everyting setup to create my pdf's, however, my view isn't changed to fit, nor are there any bookmarks or in this case thumbs (i used /useThumbs) visible.
Did i miss something obvious? Is there a better way to test this? Any help would be appreciated!

i like it about that ok in how to open my site

  • Creating a PDF

I have posted this before but because I was away my reply to a responce was not answered so here goes again:
I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro v 8.13(as part of CS3) and MS Word 2007 (as part of Office 2007)and have been trying to create a PDF file from a word document.
Here are the steps I have taken:
Open Word document and then click the "Acrobat" Tab.
    Then click "Create PDF" tab
In the dialog box that appears I selected "Fully Fucntional PDF" and clicked OK
I get the following message: "PDFMaker cannot locate the Adobe PDF Printer's printer driver. Please re-install Adobe Acrobat 8.0."
So I re-installed Adobe CS3 (which contains Acrobat 8 Pro). This did not solve the problem.
I repeated the whole process again this time selecting "Quick and simple PDF" and clicked OK. This time a PDF file was created.
My question was - why can't I create a "Fully Functional PDF" file?
Here is a reply I received: "Look in the printer list to be sure that the Adobe PDF printer is loaded. Also, go to the Adobe.com>download>updates and download all of the updates for AA8 and install them in order (don't try to skip unless the site says you can). The current version is AA8.1.3. That might solve the problem. It may be that you need at least AA8.1.2 to work properly with WORD 2007. There were a lot of problems with the initial release."
My reply was: "I have Acrobat Pro version 8.1.3.
However when I checked the list of printers in Word there was no Adobe PDF printer (there was a Quicken PDF Printer).
What do I have to do to get the Adobe PDF printer in the Word 2007 list?
I would appreciate someone who can help me solve this problem. Thanks, Alan

Suddenly (this week) my AA 8 PDF Maker was not working with MS Office 2007. AA 8 would convert any file that was not Office related to PDF format, so I concluded the problem was Office related. I finally came upon what fixed my problem, I hadn't 'personalized' the MS Word program. You do that by clicking on the drop down menu (upper left corner)> then click on 'Word Options' and type in your name under 'personalize your copy of MS Office'. Works like a charm now! BTW I also uninstalled the PDF converter that MS offered as an add on. I don't know if that conflicts with AA 8 or not.

  • Creating a PDF from a secure website

I am attempting to create a PDF from a page within a secure website, which is successful, however the content on the page turns into random symbols.  Could this be due to encryption on the site ?

I don't think so. It is either a problem of the browser to hand the page in over to the printer or of Acrobat, since the browser displays the page correctly, I suppose.
You have three ways to create the PDF:
    1. Open the URL in the browser, switch to print preview (IE can do best) and check if OK, then print with Adobe Printer.
    2. Open URL in Acrobat and convert to PDF.
    3. Save the page to disk (*.mht) and then convert.
    Any of this should work.

  • It used to be that when I created a pdf from a word or publisher document, hyperlinks worked fine. Now I cannot get them to work unless the text displayed for the link is the complete address and it all appears on one line. Why?

You can print to the Adobe PDF printer, but that only creates links that Acrobat or Reader recognize as such. That is the reason for needing the entire URL on one line. It is not actually an embedded link, but one created by Acrobat on the fly. With OFFICE 2013 you have two choices: 1. create the PDF with the print to Adobe PDF and then add the links in Acrobat so that they are complete or 2. I think the WORD save as PDF or XPS will create the PDF with links, but not sure. If so, that would be the quickest solution for you, but be aware of potential problems with the MS plugin.
Of course, the third option is to upgrade to XI which can be done with AA 9. You will probably not be eligible for a for an upgrade to whatever the next version will be.

I need to be able to easily create a PDF catalog/brochure direct from my website. Can I use the .xml file that I use for the Google Merchant Centre feed to create a catologue as this would seem to be a quick and easy solution. We have 1200 products so creating a PDF catalog from scratch will take a lot of time and effort.

Apps previously purchased will continue to operate wherever you are.    However; you'll not be able to update them other than by using the original purchase details.   What this means is that you can only 'purchase' from a country's store if you have a valid credit card and residence of and in that country.
