the iPad comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. It starts automatically when you buy your device (one thing to watch out for this time of year, buy your ipad on black friday, give it to someone at christmas, they have 11 months of warranty left)
Now if you purchased apple care after the fact, then you do need to register it. For example when I bought my iPad I bought apple care a month or so later, I had to register my apple care within a certain number of days for it to activate. I believe the terms with apple care plus is that you only have 30 days to buy and activate that warranty. However coverage may vary from country to country and state to state. So you may want to read more for your specific country.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

No, reordering within folders and albums is not supported. the yare arranged automatically by date. I found this, but I have not used any of the apps besides iPhone. You might check the descriptions to see if they do what you need.

No I don't have another computer. I was thinking initially I would put them on my ipad but since I don't have enough gb maybe I can store them in some cloud thing? You might look for generic cases. They're not as sturdy or durable as custom made ones - they tend to use elastic to hold in the iPad and keyboards - but that elastic does give them some flexibility.
Or see if Belkin has anything.
Or you may simply be out of luck with the compatibility. My Keyboard is in a case custom built for my 2 and I know whatever tablet I replace my iPad with I'll be getting a new keyboard as well because it most likely won't fit in a new case.

I cannot get my IPad air to connect to wireless in home. Two other iPad 2's connect as well as laptops. I have already exchanged one iPad air and none want to connect. Husband has taken iPad air to the apple store, connects here but not here. Who can help

Can someone please help??? I received am IPad air in November for my birthday and have not been able to use yet, I could not get it to connect so I returned it for another iPad air. And cannot get it to connect to wireless either. I have three other iPad 2's and laptops in home and everything connects with no problem. What is the deal with these iPad airs? My husband took the iPad to Apple store, it works there but didn't change anything so it won't work at home. Do I need to step down to old IPad since that's all that will connect in home. Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Do not have passcode to open iPad air

I have been given a new iPad air and done the start up using the fingerprint touch, but now it will not take the print and wants a passcode which I don't believe I ever entered.

There are two different locking mechanisms: passcode, prevents access to your data, and activation lock, prevents use of device if stolen.
If the passcode is set & forgotten , you can reload from backup or wipe ( first typed whip ) the device.
iPhone or iPad locked from incorrect passcode.
If you enter the wrong passcode six or more times, you'll see a message that says Ipad is disabled.

Do you have a computer with iTunes on it that you have associated the iPad with?
If the answer is yes, simply set iTunes up to back up the device locally, fully sync the apps, photos, movies, etc. A copy of everything, including the config of the device and all your settings (scores) will be made on the computer's drive. This even includes a backup copy of all the apps. When you get the replacement device (probably a refurbished blank unit), a Restore from that backup will totally reconstruct what you have today.
If the answer is no, you will have quite a bit more work to do in order to get back to the original state that the iGadget is currently in (minus the crack).
