Do I have to use IDT audio? I want to use Nvidia audio. No more IDT!

I do not want to use IDT Audio anymore, I downloaded the new Nvidia driver and it comes with HD Audio. Can I disable or uninstall IDT and use Nvidia audio? If not, what about Realtek Audio over IDT?!!! Thanks in advance!
It isn't a matter of simply choosing which software/driver you want to use.The hardware in a machine determines what driver will work. For instance, to use a Realtek driver you must have a Realtek audio chip on your machine's motherboard.

Just when you activate your mail and notes, it asks you to create icloud e-mail, which is completely separate and allows you to have one more e-mail address. Just some extra benefit, you don't have to pay for, but useful to save your notes and send e-mail or two if Google server goes down.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

A couple of methods.
The first is to copy 2 files, key3,db and signons.sqlite from the profile folder of the old computer t the profile folder of the new computer. For details of how to find the profile folder see the [[profiles]] article.

In the garage I have a Netgear Router. it is connected by a ethernet cable, I have a 1tb drive that I want to use there. On the drive there is only a USB port. on the Netgear there is only ethernet ports. is there an adapter that will work for that?
It's not that simple. You need a "smart" device to connect a hard drive to, like a Time Capsule, or another computer, or an Airport Extreme/Express that was made to share a drive, or some other brand router that has a USB port for sharing a drive, etc.

A 2G Shuffle can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. So if you are trying to connect and use the Shuffle with a new computer/iTunes library, you'll need tor restore it before you can begin syncing or manualy adding content to it from the new library.
So go ahead and restore the iPod and then configure it for manual management. See this article for more details on configuring the shuffle for manual management.

First you have to know what you are doing, like an engineer : you have a
Laplace, continuous time transfer function but LabView handles discrete
signals only. Use matlab/simulink if you want to simulate continuous time
systems easily...

When you move to Portugal (very nice, I've just come back from visiting Cascais/Sintra/Sines ) I think you'll just get re-directed to Portuguese iTunes. When I moved to France from the UK I got re-directed to the French store.
To view UK programmes in France I used to subscribe to a VPN server through https://www.my-private-network.co.uk/ (there are others, but very pleased with their service). The catch-up channels (iPlayer, etc) think you're in the UK so you can watch the programmes online. Wouldn't work with iTunes UK store though . -
I have downloaded MAMP for Mac and want to use it for working with Wordpress. I'm on an Imac with Maverick OS 10.9. I had mysql installed before this and would like to uninstall it and use MAMP. It was easy to turn off Apache and PHP but don't know how to uninstall mysql. Please help!!
It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

I have a macbook pro and I want to use my canon firewire digital video camera on yahoo chat. When I sign on to chat and attempt to use a camera, the system automatically defaults to the built in camera on the notebook. Can I override that default?
You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

You need to delete here conversation and start another one using her phone number and not her Apple ID. You cannot delete iMessage, you can disable it. If the Apple server still sees her iPod with iMessage on and using her Apple ID, then it will continue to appear to your phone that she has iMessage. She needs to take a look at this support document about permanently disabling iMessage for her account. Can’t receive text messages on a non-Apple phone
