Do i need a separate appleID and password for itunes store, icloud and app store apart from my admin login and password?
after having my mbp upgraded with new m.lion by apple tech service i noticed that applications like iphoto, garageband and imovie are gone
researched online and was told that i had to acess the `purchase` via AppStore where it asks me to log in with Apple ID and password
i used the usual admin login and password and didnt work, also on itunes and icloud the similar case
do i need to register with a separate appleID and password for itunes store, icloud and app store apart from my admin login and password?
Just use the same Apple ID and password that you used to access this forum - that's your Apple ID.
The user name and password on your computer has nothing to do with your Apple ID.

I just hooked up my Apple tv and im having problems already..When i enter my ID and Password for itunes it says that it is not valid,yet I double checked and its correct. Also, when I try to find the code to connect my Net flix account in Air Play the icon for the code is not there.I have wireless internet connection and it says Im connected so thats not the problem. Im ready to return my Apple tv for another product..Does anyone have a fix for this problem??

my icloud account on my new iphone does not match the user ID for itunes as it is an old apple ID. There is no password for this ID so I cant change it and it wont let me change the apple ID. Any help?
To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

II changed my apple id and password and when I go to update my apps it says my old apple id and it says my passwords wrong.....HELP?!
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
Thus, it appears you have apps that need updating that were purchased from more than one account. -
My email (sign-in) and password for iTunes is different than my email (sign-in) and password for iCloud. How do I change my sign in and password so they are the same for both iTunes and iCloud without losing my iTunes content?

I recently changed my iCloud account because someone stole my last phone and changed all my passwords for both my iCloud and emails account. So when I changed my account I accedently erased all my contacts is there anything I can do? (It wasn't backup)
I'd say your best bet is to try to regain access to your old account. Call 1-800-MY-APPLE, and ask to talk to the account security team. Hopefully they can verify you are the account owner, and then reset the password for you.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

Is this the iTunes library/computer you sync with? You can rally only "sync" with one iTunes library/computer.However, yo can manually manage music and videos among different libraries/computer. See the manual method of:
