Do I need an apple id to ad music that I already have on my computer to my iphone 4?

I am trying to add a 6 album collection to my iphone, I do not have an apple id, and do not have a credit card to start one. Is there any way I can sync the files to my iphone without it?

I'm not sure why this is in the iTunes forum.  Those apps are all from the Mac App store, not iOS apps which go through the iTunes Store (and also has its own forum).
I think you need an AppleID since those are payware apps and they want to make sure the correct person is downloading the newer versions.  In theory if you had already sold your computer to a different person they would have to buy the apps again for their own use.
I don't know about the credit card information thing.  I think Apple requires it for iTunes Store dealings since some things can only be sold in certain countries and it is a way of verifying whree a person is resident.  Are you sure you aren't confusing the Mac App Store and the iTunes Store?
