Do I need creative Cloud to use Font Folio or does it work with CS6?

The Adobe Font Folio has absolutely nothing to do with the Adobe Creative Cloud offering. I think you are thinking about TypeKit which is included with the Adobe Creative cloud, integrates with the Creative Cloud applications, but also allows use of the fonts therein with other applications.
The Adobe Font Folio is a disk with pretty much the entire Adobe Type Library. You install any number of fonts on the disk onto your system and they act just like any other fonts with any applications, including the CS6 applications.

Unpower and restart it.  If that doesn't help, try holding menu and left navigation keys TOGETHER for 6 secs.

  • Creative Suite CS 5.5 Design Premium does not work with Lion

--> ohne Ergebnis.
Die Creative Suite funktioniert so nicht.
CS 4 hatte funktioniert. CS 5.5 funktioniert nicht mehr.

Try this method outlined by Adobe:
You can use the following method to initiate the Java runtime installation or confirm it is currently installed.
Go to Applications > Utilities > Java Preferences.
    Open the Java Preferences.
If Java is not installed, you receive the following message:
“To open “Java Preferences," you need a Java runtime. Would you like to install one now?”

  • Need a replacement for Intego Antispam since it does not work with Mountain Lion

    Any suggestion.
Also noticed that if you have installed program that did not come from App Store it may not be able to open it due to Mountain Lion. Whats up with that

Thank-you for heads up, so what your saying is all my online threw Safari is 100% protected no need for any protection other than this GateKeeper. Or is that just for my programs.
GateKeeper is just one of the anti-malware protection features of Mountain Lion. There are others. Mountain Lion actually includes its own malware scanner too. The difference is that it doesn't check for all the millions of Windows viruses. Just keep your software updated. Mountain Lion should do that automatically.
In the case of spam my internet provide i have email address threw them and even after turning on their filter I continue to get spam, so that why I been asking. I've been told of one today called SpamSieve.
SPAM is more difficult. I use SpamSieve and highly recommend it.

  • Require Logon Using Secure Password Authentication does not work with plaintextlogin on the server side

    Hi All ;
We are in the middle of a migration Project but we stuck with this pop3 setting. Most of the mailboxes uses pop3 to connect Exchange 2010 with the setting spa + port 110 on the client side. We want to give same authentication options for the pop3 settings
on 2013 side but when spa is selected the pop3 rejects the connection with the following error.
Your e-mail server rejected your login with SPA.
So both settings for pop3 protocol is same but the client cannot connect from 2013 server.
Where can i enable this feature from Exchange 2013 .

    Hi,
Please make sure that we have enabled Outlook Anywhere and 2 pop3 services in Exchange 2013.
More details in the following article:
    Enable POP3 in Exchange 2013
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124934(v=exchg.150).aspx
Please make sure port 110, port 587, port 25 are available.
Please try to disable the NTLM authentication on Exchange 2013 server for testing.
Please also try to run Outlook client under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.
Please also try to re-create new profile to refresh the caches for testing.
    Thanks

Is there any way to increase the font size in the Creative Cloud. Using a Lenovo Yoga 2 with 14" screen and care barely see the menus.

In short, no. There is no fix yet. They only barely acknowledge there is a problem. The "fix" is to enable 200% UI scaling which makes everything comically huge and unusable. This is pretty much of a joke. A really, really EXPENSIVE joke.

  • Creative Cloud - restricting use of older versions and forcing use of latest versions - NO THANKS!

I am a long-time customer of Adobe Products.  I have a unique roll as a Graphics management position, while also functioning as our company's IT administrator.  At home, for messing around, sure, creative cloud could be usable,  however, in my fairly demanding work environment, we encounter issues like OSX compatibility, occasionally needing to work from a PC, opening files from 2005, and relying on a specific workflows our business has built on foundations like Distiller PDF workflows etc.  When you force upgrades to newer versions, you dissuade us from being interested in the Creative Cloud platform.  It's really a shame, because small businesses like ours would benefit a lot from a neccesary "subscription"  so the newest adobe products are always available, where otherwise, convincing our company owner that a fairly pricey upgrade is neccesary because of a given set of features.  If the features aren't something the owner sees as a neccesity, there is really no reason for us to upgrade, so we drag things out.  For example, we are still on CS3 right now, and we will be making the jump to CS6 out of neccesity (CS3 will not allow us to edit old pagemaker files that have suddenly become our responsibility without crashing, where the CS6 trial handled it wonderfully).
The creative cloud is a nice thought that would overcome a lot of 'upgrade' obsticles in the long-term for those of us in the small-business venture, but the version restrictions are too harsh.  In the accounting world there is a general rule that you can expunge data older than 7 years old, but if you get rid of that data before those 7 years are up you often find yourself in trouble.  Software is often the same way when you work with such a wide-array of tools as the adobe creative suite provides.  We essentially end up with what equates to a giant database of images, videos, and other files of misc origin and formats that we need a way to manage.  If we encounter problems (Much like I did recently where CS3 would not open the pagemaker files) and know we can count on another version of that same software (CS6, in this case) to open those same files, then why would you ever want to take those options away from a customer?  We will be paying the same fee regardless of what old versions we use, and while in the scenerio I give, the newer version of the software is the resolution to the problem, there is an equal liklihood of encountering a scenerio where the newer software wont allow me to open a file, but the older version will.
I just don't understand, what's the harm?  You don't need to "support" those old versions, but they should ALWAYS be available for download and use on systems that can use them, ESPECIALLY in the style of environment you are offering where the old versions won't appeal to everyone, so it won't waste bandwidth or require a tremendous ammount of storage & serving on your part.
What gives adobe?  I want Creative Cloud to succeed as much as you!  But I need it to work for me!

    Hi Fujilives,
I copied this from the Creative Cloud FAQ
Q:I am a Creative Cloud member using the CS6 applications included in my membership. Will I lose access to CS6 when CS7 becomes available in Creative Cloud? A: No, if you have downloaded and installed the CS6 versions of the applications, you will continue to have access to them without interruption as long as your membership remains active. When the CS7 versions become available, you will have up to a year to download and install them and they will run on your machine along with CS6 versions.
So we are planning to give users access to and the ability to use the versions they started with even after new versions come out (you don't have to upgrade) but it wasn't possible to include access to older versions with the launch of this product (that I'm aware of). But I understand the need for some users to have access to older verisons based on your explanation. I'll pass along your feedback.

do I have to be a member of creative cloud to use photoshop elements 12 as I only want a once off payment not ongoing membership fees?

Elements is not part of creative cloud, never has been. PSE 12 does require you to create an adobe ID as part of installing it, but you don't have to have an internet connection after the first time you run it. You must stay signed in though. In PSE 12, sign in is activate, and if you sign out you deactivate your copy.
