Do I need more than one email address?

My Internet provider is comcast.net. My emails from there are referred to apple mail. I also have an email address of me.com that seems to exist for me to purchase things from the Apple Store. It has a different address and password than my apple mail account and password. Furthermore, I have a different iCloud email account. And apple has advised me that they have reserved yet another iCloud email account for me with another name.
Can someone help me understand how many of these accounts do I need or that I must have in order to synch up my desktop iMac, iPhone and iPad?also, do the iCloud email accounts cost more through my wireless provider AT&T?

Your @me.com address is enough to use iCloud. Furthermore, even the @comcast.net mail address works except for Notes and Mail.
What Apple was referring with "they have reserved yet another iCloud email account" is that you can create a @icloud.com address if you want, but if you want to keep the @me.com email address, continue using this email address.

Mail is free, so you don't have to pay for iCloud mail addresses. Note that some carriers may charge you for using their mobile networks

Cannot select more than one email address at a time from Contacts. Before I upgraded to Yosemite, I could view all mail addresses in "All Contacts" and select multiple or single email addresses by "command and tap" for mail. If I read your question right, yes.
My pad has two e mail addresses, and my phone has a phone number as well as a e mail address. For each device you can add additional 'receive at' addresses in settings.
Note, when you add a new address, apple will send an e mail to that new address that you need to respond to, to show that it is a valid address. So look in the inbox of that e mail account for the verification e mail. Note further, some spam filters think that the verification e mail might be spam, so if it does not show up in your in box, look in any spam file you might have.
in my case, the verification e mail came within a few minutes of declaring the new address.
The multiple address are useful if you have more than one device under your apple id, and want to be able to send stuff to that particular device.

You can have only one iCloud email account for each iCloud account. You can create alias addresses liked to your account, but they will all deliver email to the same iCloud inbox (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a).
If you want a separate email account, you will need to create a second iCloud account.

You can only have one email account for each iCloud account. You can create up to three alias addresses, but these will still receive email in the current account inbox. This explains how to create an alias if you want to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.
You can create a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your device by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and entering a different iCloud ID. This will give you second iCloud email account but it will only be fetch email (not push). Also, you can only create a maximum of three iCloud accounts on each device so this would use one of your allotted accounts.

I have loaded my Firefox bookmarks into Internet Explorer Favorited. I also uninstalled Safari.

Is there a way to have more than one email address get voicemail notifications? I have 2 email addresses on my profile, but the email to notify us of a voicemail still only goes to the registered email address. Thank you!!

You can add more identities to a single profile.
Go to Tools -> Account Settings -> <your account> and click the Manage Identities button on the bottom right. That's the place where you can add additional e-mail addresses for your account.

No there is no space between two mail ids and also i tried by hardcoding the email id's in TO field even though mail is not triggering....
Through rules i am pasisng the notifer list.Just i am calling the rules in variable and passing that variable in TO field....
Is there any other way to solve this problem...

Submit email to more than one email address

Is there any way that when you click the submit form button it returns the form to two email addresses. When I try and put a second one in it says that the email is not in a valid format.

it should help you I'd guess, however it uses a custom button with javascript rather than the default email button.

More than one email address on Entourage

ive got my email address given to me by my ISP and then the domain name i bought and the email address i have from that.. i mostly only give out my domain name email forward the emails from the domain name address to my ISP email...
ive set up Entourage with both email accounts in one identity so i can send emails from either email address... ive just moved all this info from my old mac to my new macbook and i now seem to be getting every email twice... im assuming once from my ISP email and then a second time from my domain name email that its forwarded to...
what did i do differently on my last mac that this didnt happen?
what do i need to change so i only get the emails once? so i dont get duplicates but stil get all emails, no matter which address they are sent to?
any advice out there?

The new email address belongs to a new account and is not an alias (is alias a link to an already existing email address?) I read about alias for first time yesterday.
I would like to be able to access both my normal and my new email addresses via Thunderbird. Is there a "toggle between facility" or something like that. Simplest is best for me.

I want to send a message to a group. Some of the members are married and their contacts are listed together in the address book. But I want to send an email to BOTH. How can I choose both email addresses when sending info. to my group?

I have this issue as well. I support three mac osx servers. all setup around the same time. all have this issue. it's quite annoying.

Yes, on any Mac. It is unclear exactly what you are trying to do with your Gmail accounts. Do you want mail, contacts, calendar etc to sync?
You can also enter your Gmail account in System Preferences > Internet Accounts. You can check options in the window to sync after adding.
BTW, asking in on MacBook Air forum is how to get answers that are specific to the Air, but if you have questions about how to use your Mac, ask on the forums for the OS X you have installed. For example if you have Mavericks 10.9. installed, ask on the Mavericks forum.
