Do I need to archive this file?

Hello
I have an iMovie file that is approximately 32 GB. I have made a disk image of it in iDVD, and do not think that I will be making any further changes to the file, just burning it from the disk image.
Questions are:
*Do I need to keep the iMovie file somewhere, or can I just trash it at this point? I cannot archive it to put on my (small 20GB) external HD until I am done with the project because it gives me an error that the disk is full before it finishes archiving it.
*What does this error mean? I should have plenty of space on my hard drive (about 34GB left)for the compressed file.

A disk image is a stand-alone and is not tied to the iMovie or iDVD project. So, if you are sure that you won't be editing your movie or iDVD project any more, you can just save the disk image and trash everything else. But . . .your movie is running over two hours. If you try to burn it to a standard 2 hour DVD disk, you won't have enough room to do that, unless you use a duel layered disk. Some burners can't burn duel layered disks, so you need to check to make sure that yours can. Before you trash anything, you might consider splitting your movie into two movies of approximately one hour each and burning two separate disk images. That way you would be able to burn onto the standard 2 hour disk.
I don't quite understand your saving question.

Possibly corrupt prefs.js file. Need help with this file please.

I've been having a problem with sending/receiving text messages in Yahoo Messenger and I think I've narrowed it to the prefs.js file in Firefox. I'm using Firefox 3.6.25 on Windows XP sp3. The Yahoo Messenger window would not open when the appropriate mobile phone link was clicked. I uninstalled/reinstalled flash without change. I cleared cache, etc., without change. I created a new Firefox profile and I was able to get the Yahoo Messenger window to open. When I copied the prefs.js file from the old profile to the new profile, I encountered the problem again. I opened the prefs.js file with wordpad and noticed that editing should occur in about:config in the currently running Firefox browser. I briefly compared the two about:config tabs from the working profile and the non-working profile. They were significantly different. How do I make a copy of one so that I can paste it into wordpad and make the editing of the other one easier? Where can I find information about the individual parameters and their settings?

I'm a musician looking to put my tracks on myspace. The maximum file size for myspace is 6mb, and my export to iTunes is 72mb! What can I do?

When you reference "50 fps", do you happen to know if that's fields per second or frames per second? Depending on the answer to that, you may or may not need to adjust that.
When it comes to file size, you have frame rate, frame size, compression type and data transfer rate affecting the final size.
As Russ and darby have suggested, data transfer rate is the main thing to experiment with (since you're publishing for Vimeo, the other setting are pretty much locked in).
I have found that when it comes to playing with the bit rate, a video with a 1280 by 720 frame size needs between 4,000 kilobits per second and 5,000 kilobits per second to maintian good image quality. While you might get good results at a lower rate, high contrast areas in the picture are very, very, very likely to show loss of image quality.
If you need to get your video up asap, start the upload late at night. As long as your internet connection doesn't drop out (knock on wood), you file will be uploaded by the morning.
Also, (for what it's worth) is there any place close by that has fast internet that you could use? If you have access to a computer lab at a local community college, a 1GB file will probably upload in minutes rather than hours.

Check ON “Recognized text in” if your PDF file is scanned images to recognize the image to text
Click “Export” button
Click “Download” button in the progress bar after completion of exporting to download the file to your computer.
Using Adobe Reader:
Launch Adobe Reader X or Reader XI
Select “Tools” and click “Sign In” link to sign in with your Adobe ID and password

Archiving the file in to Multiple Directories

Hi,
   I have a scenario which takes the file from the source system and uses proxy to post the data in to ECC.When it picks the file it has to pick from multiple directories.This i can achieve by using advanced selection for source files and
also i need to archive these files to multiple directories depending on the source directory. I have given an example below.
      ex : Source directory : /users/system/location1/input
             Archive Directory : /users/system/location2/archive
            The file can also be picked up from
             Source Directory :/users/system/location2/input
             Archive Directory : /users/system/location2/archive
So i have to read the data from multiple directories and archive the same to multiple directories(Depending on the source).Can we achieve this using single file adapter(Communication channel)
   Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Sripathi,
no, you need for each folder an adapter resp a Communication Channel and, as well, a Sender Agreement for that Channel. But you can copy a well working channel and just change the path to the folder and to the archive. You can reuse the interfaces and the receiver determination as well. I dont see any need for BPM in that case.

Hi Prabhas,
You need to use the option of "Archive faulty Source Files" in the processing tab of your Sender Communication channel.
Open your sender comm. channel --> goto the Processing tab -
> In processing parameters you will find an option
"Archive faulty Source Files " , check the corresponding checkbox -
> then you will get another parameter " Directory for Archiving Files with Errors" ---> Here you need to specify the path of the folder where you want to move the error file to archieve it.

To perform a recovery with an online backup you will need all archive log files until the end of the online backup. If you have lost them you are not able to recover (or open) your database in a consistent state.
So the only suggestion we can do is:
You need the archive log files that were created during the online backup to perform an incomplete recovery ... if they are gone you can not restore your database.

Not enough memory to save this file

im doing a artwork with a size of 210" x 72" and 4 layers in total ( the size is actually half of the actual print size which is 420" by 144" ). But whenever i want to export the ai file to psd , the error prompting ' Not enough memory to save this file ' appears. I've changed my primary scratch disks frm Startup to C:\ ( which is ard 100gb ) but the error still exists. Is there anyone who could help me ? Need to send the works for print next week but i need to export this file to photoshop to do extra effects and changes.

theres around 88gb left on my drive and my ai file is juz 1.84mb.
the settings for export is as follows :
Resolution - 72dpi ( as my workfile is being done to a scale of 50% , i used a lower dpi )
Options - Write layers with max editability
Anti-alias unchecked

This file: /private/tmp/tmpinstallmc.dmg. Is it legit, or not? Is it something I might want to install, or not?

Every few days, I have this disk image labeled simply "Installer" appear on my desktop. By getting info, I find the name of the file is /private/tmp/tmpinstallmc.dmg. Since I have no idea what it is supposed to be installing, I am hesitant to install it. Since lte versions of MacOS 10 have seriously curtailed my ability to mess up my Mac by dinking around in the libraries and private folders, I have so far been unable to find it to remove it.

I Found This on Another Site and followed it step by step and it removed the Installer.dmg from keep popping up. Now I'm asuming at some stage my kids clicked on MacKeeper or something like that and it Added it to a .plist
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.

despite the workaround, it doesn't fix the real problem. It shouldn't be a huge deal for adobe to add support for multiple svn versions. Dreamweaver is the first tool i've used that works with svn that doesn't support several types of svn meta data. If they're going to claim that Dreamweaver supports svn is should actually support svn, the current version, not a version several years old. This should have been among the first patches released, or at least after snow leopard came out (and packaged with it the current version of svn).
does anyone know if the code that handles meta data formatting is something that is human readable, or where it might be, or is it in compiled code.
