Do I need to buy a new charger or a whole new iPod
My iPod will only turn on and charge in my truck, when I try and plug it into my laptop it doesn't charge or turn on. As soon as I unplug it from the charger in my truck it turns off and won't turn back on even if it was fully charged
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

- Try another charging source
- Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, cracked or broken plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

I suspect a hardware problem like a bad battery.

But the problem is that I don't know if iPod nano would have enough room for all of my songs, and songs that I will purchase in the future. So here is the question. How much space does iPod nano lose due to it's formatting process? I know that video iPod (30GB) loses somewhere around 3-4GBs. How much does Nano lose? Ig it loses more than 1GB, I'm thinking about buying the Video instead... Please explain to me in detail!! And by the way, is the memory technology for nano flash memory?
The 4GB iPod nano will have 3.7GB of usable capacity, and an 8GB iPod nano will have about 7.5GB. If you choose a 2GB iPod nano, you will be able to store roughly 1.9GB of data on it.
The iPod nano uses a flash drive for storage.

There are third-party firms that do repairs on iDevices, and there are places where you can order parts to DIY if you feel up to the task:

these cable are so delicate that after one week of use they break down. i can't spend all my money on buying them. moreover, last week it broke down on saturday eve so i was stuck untill tuseday without a phone.
i have to say that this compan is so rude, and it took me like an hour to sign in and write this complain, and i'm not even sure if it's the right place to wright this sort of things.
apple's customer service is the wort customer service in the world.I don't understand why you need to buy a new one every week. I've had my iPhnoe 5 for almost a year, never had a problem with the cable. In addition, your phone is can't be more than a year old. Therefore, unless you're damaging them, your cable is under warranty and Apple will replace it. Perhaps you should have tried actually availing yourself of Apple's customer service before complaining about it.

Do I need to buy a new battery?
My Macbook (OS X Version 10.5.8) battery won't charge. In the system profile application, the "condition" under Power>Health Information says "Check Battery" (see picture below). Do I need to buy a new battery or is there something else I can do to fix it?
You can get a new third party battery fairly cheap on eBay. Every MacBook from 2006 through Mid 2009 except the Late 2008 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 and 2010 White Unibodies use the same A1185 battery.

Apple will service your iPhone. If you have AppleCare+ coverage, the cost of service will low; in the US it's $49. If you do not have AppleCare+ on your iPhone, Apple reportedly now will replace the screen in an iPhone 5 for US $149. Availabllity of repair services may vary by country, so call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store and ask for information. If Apple is not currently offering screen replacement service in your country, they will replace the entire iPhone for a flat fee. See the Service Pricing section here:

There are independent iPhone repair services that may be able to do the repair for less than Apple's out-of-warranty charge. Do a web search for "iPhone repair". I have a older Nano, I think I got it in 2004 or 2005 and I have a sad iPod icon, and it seems like my battery won't charge, the low battery icon appears but never seems to do anything. If I buy a new iPod will I be able to transfer my songs and playlists to the new one easily? Thanks.
If you are using automatic syncing to load the iPod, all songs on the iPod are in your iTunes music library. So, you won't need to transfer anything from the old nano. Just sync the new iPod from your iTunes library the same way.
If you use the Manually manage music setting, AND there are songs on the iPod that are not in your iTunes music library, you will need to off-load songs to your computer first. You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer" you should get some links.

since the electrical outlets are different, all you need to do is purchase an adapter that will fit over the existing plug. It will charge fine

Your licence is not platform specific, so Lightroom can be used on any two machines (Mac and/or WIndows), with one actually being used at any given time.

Wouah, really strange things happening.
A couple of weeks ago, I had to burn something like a hundred DVDs, but couldn't complete coz my drive (a Pionneer 111D) was refusing to burn 2 in every four DVD. Thought the problem was from the media itself. Left it there...
Then came Snow Leopard, installed it, all went fine, exept my drive is not detecting some DVD that I know are good, it tells me the media is blank, though it's not.
Thought it may be because of the new system, so I did a firmware update, now my drive is a pionneer 111L, but it still doesn't detect those DVD; so i thought, if it's a problem with the system, i am going to install Leopard, but the drive didn't even recognize the install DVD, so I had to install Tiger, which I did, and guess what the drive doesn't recognize those medias.
So my question, to be short, do I need to buy a new drive, and if yes what the best option. I have a MAC PRO early 2006 first gen.

I say buy a second, my second was as below. If your OEM works, or you buy two new drives, it makes copying disks easy. There are some instruction on OD insertion on the net but just look at your Mac Pro manual re the drive bays. You stick the second drive onto the little branch of the ribbon cable.
Search in this forum for (say) 'second optical drive MacPro' but someone will likely remember the installation help page for you. My second drive:-
