    Ok maybe this is a daft question, but I bought my first Mac (a MacBook Pro) last Christmas, and last week took the plunge and bought an iMac to go with it.
    The new iMac comes with Factime pre-installed but since it wasn't on my MacBook, do I need to pay to download it?
    I don't mind too much (it's only 59p) but since it's already on the iMac I thought maybe I was already licenced for it on the MBP?
    If I don't need to pay, how do I get it? Appstore doesn't recognise it as 'already purchased'.

    I just registered my email address at http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/ and I notice that the free upgrade has to be claimed within 30 days of purchase and within 30 days of LION release.
    The 'start date' for qualifying was June 6th, so putting deux et deux together I conclude that the release date will be July 6th
    Or, I could be completely wrong. It wouldn't be the first time

    You'd have to ask Intuit. They might give you a cross-license to download and install the Mac version.

    The Mac version is a separate version from the iOS version and has top be paid for separately.
    If you buy it from the Mac App Store (MAS) however it is quite cheap and can be installed on all your computers that use the same Apple ID.

    My first observation is that you don't reraise the error in the CATCH handler. That is bad, because it makes the proceedure fail silently which may be very difficult to troubleshoot.

    The iOS version of Pages will only work on your iDevices.
    The OS X version of Pages will only work on your Macs.

    You can purchase Lion once and use it on as many Macs as you own and control. You will need to use one Apple ID at MAS for the purchase and also use that for any updates - MAS notes both the Apple ID as well as the machine ID.
    To make it easier, after the initial download, do not immediately install. Instead, dismiss the installer, and find it in the Applications folder - make a copy of it and put it in a safe location (external hard drive?). Then go ahead and install on Mac #1. When ready, copy the installer to the Applications folder of Mac #2 and install it there, etc.
    Also note: the license for Lion purchased at MAS is NOT transferable; if you sell one of your Macs, you are required to delete Lion and reinstall the original OS.

    You can get just the whole keyboard.
    As far as I know its not possible to replace the keyboard key of course you can remove the key cap but if you have some mechanical key problems, the cap replacement does not help you so you need the keyboard and the compatible parts can be ordered from Toshiba service in your country.

    You would need to buy it again for the mac. If you buy an ios app then it will automatically download on all of your ios devices, however this is not the case for macs.
