Do I need to deactivate Acrobat X purchased through online licensing?

I'm moving several of my Acrobat X licenses to new computers. The licenses were purchased through Adobe's online licensing. I do not see a "deactivate" option in the menus. Can I just deinstall it on the old computers & reinstall on the new? TIA.

If it's a volume license you bought you will not see the 'Deactivate' option under the 'Help' menu.
Simply uninstall the software from the older machines and reinstall on the newer ones.

I had an htc windows 8x and had 8.1 on it. But I needed to replace it so purchased one online and it's got window 8.0. Want to know when I will be able to get my 8.1 update so that it can be like my first phone I had?

Have talked to Htc and windows and they both told me that it is up to Verizon to put out this update.

Verizon's and HTCs attempt to make money for the holidays by forcing upgrades to newer phones. Most Windows phones have been pulled from the market due to poor sales and HTC and others are just perpetuating it. I will probably abandon Windows phone myself due to so many issues with the HTC 8X and lack of 8.1 upgrade. I have been loyal to Microsoft for to long, since Windows CE and have missed the world of Android all together. I like having all my Microsoft apps sync up, but app support and usability is useless for anything but a phone. Its a darn shame really. I had the HTC Tilt and the same thing happened. I don't think my 8X will last till Windows 10 phones. I am replacing the SIM card every month now to prevent auto shutdowns and Text issues.

Acrobat doesn't obtain online license in one Win 7 Profile, but will in another.

Acrobat 8 Professional loaded fine, but would not download a license..The screen to do so appears, but even though the Accept button flashes when 'clicked on', nothing happens. The widow must be X'ed out.
Making a new profile ( a new user on the same laptop) and then trying the same actions, works fine and Acrobat works on the seconday logon, but still doesn't work on my primary logon.
Any chance I get fix this without totally remaking my primay logon?

The serial number xxxxxxx... is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer within 32767 days to use this product.
Installed CS6 Design Std (which included Acro X Pro) from DVD. All the apps work except for Acrobat, which gives the above error. The s/n in the error is different from the s/n used for installing Design Std. Per support, fully uninstalled Design Std and any other Acrobat related s/w, then ran a "cleaner" that they provided. Reinstalled CS6 Design Std from DVD ... same problem. Already wasted over 4 hours on Adobe support chat.

I understand that you are unable to activate Acrobat X Pro.
From the error message it seems like Acrobat is taking the standalone serial number and not from the suite.
Have you tried uninstalling only Acrobat and reinstall it from the CS6 suite? If not, then please perform uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it as trial.
Once the reinstallation is completed, first launch a product from CS6 like Photoshop and then launch Acrobat X and check if it works.

A single user license provides for having it installed and activated on two machines.
If you are unable to deactivate on the broken machine then you need to contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. If you do this before installing and activating on the new machine you can save yourself the problem of reactivating it.

I am about to upgrade from Acrobat 9 to Acrobat XI.
When installing Acrobat XI, will I be prompted to uninstall the previous version? Or will the upgrade installation automatically uninstall the previous version during the upgrade installation process?
If the previous version is uninstalled during the upgrade process, what happens with the previous version's activation status?
Do I need to manually deactivate Acrobat 9 before upgrading? Or does the upgrade process automatically deactivate the previous version during the process?
Will the upgrade process to the newer version result in the previous version's activation seat to be lost?
If no action is take to uninstall the previous version during the upgrade installation process, will both versions happily co-exist, or will their be conflict issues?

TimeTraveled during the installation process Acrobat 9 will be uninstalled. Acrobat 9 should be deactivated automatically as part of the uninstall process. This is mainly irrelevant however as your license for the upgrade to Acrobat XI requires your Acrobat 9 license. Thus you would be violating the EULA if you were to install Acrobat 9 on two computers and then install Acrobat XI on two separate computers.
Finally your question regarding having both Acrobat 9 and Acrobat XI installed on the same computer. For Windows users it is recommend that you do not have two version of Acrobat Acrobat Professional or Standard on the same computer.

Hello, sorry for my poor English, i am spanish. I have to format a computer that probably has a windows problem. Before I do that, i need to deactivate the four acrobat products i have installed. The four products are: Indesign, Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS6. The last one is Acrobat professional 11.
The Photoshop and the Indesign ones have enabled in the help menu the option Deactivate. That's ok.
But i have a problem with Acrobat 11 and Dreamweaver, i cant deactivate them cause the Dramweaver has the option "Deactivate" disabled, and the Acrobat professional has no option.
Please i need a quick solution to format that computer and reinstall the software in the same machine (changing the hard disk), in order to free the licenses.
