Do I Need to get rid of " SOS Mesaging upon Boot up" Or is a Scam , or just leave it a only?

        I would love to get rid of SOS Messaging that appears on my HP2011x Desktop and using a HP Pavilion Monitor with Windows 7, I have tried everything. Is there a detailed process on how take it off. Is this a virus
or is this harmless?
