Do i need to move to Lion for iCloud? (i have MM and iPhone)
i am feeling like a dope these days but i have a mobile me account and i am on snow leopard. i also have an iphone.
i don't want to upgrade to Lion until i know that all my peripherals work but at the same time i don't want my mobile me account to run out without moving to icloud.
can anyone straighten this out for me?

If you just do a normal time machine backup on your macbook pro and then plug that harddrive into your new air; you should be able to just use migration assistant to transfer all your files. You wouldnt need to upgrade to mountain lion on your macbook pro.

Hello Apple, I am a totally blind mac user and wish to use iCloud keychain. I tried to set it up both on my mac and IOS device so that they can sync all of my account information, but have no luck. Every time I want to set up my iCloud, I have issues because it asks me to verify my identity with apple support. When I click the link to the iCloud support page, there is no way I can contact apple directly or fill out forms to verify my account. I would love to use the iCloud keychain to keep track of my accounts. What should I do in this case?

I have 2 computers, I need to download Mountain Lion for both of them, or just downloading it in one will do?
You can download it only once (as it's a 4.5GB file and does take some time to download) but after the download is complete, quit the installer and look in your Applications folder for a file named "Install OS Mountain Lion.app". Make a copy of this file to put on your other computer or, as Linc suggests, make a bootable ML install drive to use on your other computer.
Just make sure that you don't install after the file first downloads - you'll need that file for your other machine.

No. You will not be able to work on documents that are stored in your iCloud.com account. You will able to download them from the cloud and revise them on your Mac. You don't need another app for that. You will need to buy the appropriate apps for the iDevices if you want to sync across all devices - Pages, Keynote and Numbers.
The documents will sync across all devices that are Set up to use iCloud. You need to set up iCloud on the Mac and your iDevices in order for the documents to sync across all devices. You must be running Lion 10.7.2 on the Mac to use all of the features of iCloud. -

true. but he is right itunes automatically sees your running 64 bit and as soon as you go to the site on left hand side of sceen you see download 10.5 just click it and you should see this it automatically points to 64 bit install then you just hit download again. pretty simple

If the phone has never been backed up to a computer and never backed up to iCloud you will lose all content on the phone. There is no way around this. -

So what SL disc are you using? The retail 10.6.3 disc (white with the snow leopard pic) or a grey disc borrowed from another Mac? -

You can also use the Toplink query language "anyOf" or "get" commands to map two tables as long as you map them as one to one (get command) or one to many (anyOf command) in the toplink mapping workbench.

You need to turn the services you want to sync (calendars, contacts etc) on on both devices from settings > iCloud.
