Do I need to re-download to install on 2nd computer?

The Creative Cloud Apps have installed as expected on my desktop. I have kept the installers, but when used to install on my laptop they ask for a serial number - and my Creative Cloud serial number is rejected.
OR do I have to have to completely redownload the aps again? I hope not the only way as this is a huge financial burden as being outside of the States we have capped broadband.

If you are using a retail installer/ Trial build  to install these applications then just choose trial Option and on launch just provide your Adobe Id which have subscription this will activate your subscription. In case you have downloaded this through Creative Cloud then either you have to re download on each machine using  Creative Cloud or you can down the retail/trial version run it on any machine you want.

    To install cs6 cloud apps on a second computer is it necessary to download a second time or can program files be copied or transferred to backup computer? thanks

    Currently you will want to download and install from a second computer.  You can download and install the trial for many of the products and then choose the License this Product and enter your Creative Cloud Adobe ID.  But this is not true for all products available within the Creative Cloud.

  • Need ADOBE READER download to install w/o Internet access.

    Looking for ADOBE READER for Windows XP Home/SP2. Target system is on "dialup" Internet, so download is difficult.
    I have DSL Internet at office but can find only "Installer Assistant" type executables -- (supervised download and install).  I need to download FULL PRODUCT in ZIP-FILE to thumbdrive then unzip/install on different computer.

    This product downloaded (to thumbdrive) as a self-installing executable.  When run on the target computer (with only 9600 dialup access) the program installed without need for the internet until the PRODUCT REGISTRATION step.

    Which operating system did your old computer run?
    Which operating system does your new computer run?
    Do you still have your serial number?  You'll need it to re-activate Photoshop.

    I have a windows 8 computer, and I have been trying to download Itunes to my computer but am getting an error that apple support was not included or that apple application support software was not found to uninstall and try again same thing several more times.

    With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

    Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
    Does it install properly for you?

    The downloaded file should be in your applications folder. If not, then just re-download it from your MBP using the same Mac app iTunes account you used to download Lion to your first computer and you will not be charged again for it.

    If it says the serial number is invalid be sure you are typing it correctly. There are no letters, only numbers, so anything that looks like an O is a 0.

  • Can't get redemption code recognition when trying to install on 2nd computer

    I am trying to install Elements on a 2nd computer as the first one is not functioning properly.  When I try to get the serial number through the redemption code, it doesn't recognize the code.  Can someone assist?

    If you already converted the serial, it is listed on your Adobe account or you have a mail with the serial. Trying to use the redemption code a second time will not work.

  • CS5 will not update on install on 2nd computer

    Hi to all,
    I have installed CS5 student version on my laptop from the discs.  This is the 2nd computer I will have it on.  According to the Adobe website this is allowed.  Install appears to be fine... I can open and edit jpeg photos in PS.  I cannot update any of the programs in the suite to current versions.  Each time I try I get a "some updates failed to install" error.  Any thoughts?

    The fact that you have been able to install and, I assume, activate to a second computer says that Adobe are OK with it, so it is just a matter of fixing the updates.  I know precious little about OSX, but this should help.
