Do I need to re-install the sotware after getting a replacement ZEN Mic

I bought a Zen Micro 3 weeks ago and I have already experienced some probelms...
A couple of times the player couldn't shut down and I had to remove the battery and put it back. A couple of nights ago I thought I disconnected the player before falling asleep.... However, the player tried to shut down during the whole night!!. The following morning I got a 'Hardware Problem' message. Since then it is not working.
My computer does not recognise the player any more, and when I touch some buttons I get 'hissy' noises. I contacted the online retailer and they are sending a replacement, hence my question:
Do I need to re-install the software, therefore wiping out all 300 tracks, or Can I just plug the new player to my computer and transfer the songs from the Creative Organiser Music Library to the new Micro?
Sorry if this message is too long, but I don't know if some people have experienced the same problems. I guess the moral of the story is don't fall asleep until you are sure that the player is off....

A look around the internet and my previous knowledge indicates this is not an issue with firefox, but with how the server that the app is run on is incorrectly configured. To test this, please install an old version of firefox. You can download an older version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html then try to visit the website again. Please let us know if it turns out that it works with version 3.6

(1)    Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is not compatible with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP (32-bit, only). Attempting to install ATM on any newer version of Windows may actually disable Window's capability of rendering Type 1 and OpenType CFF fonts, requiring a reinstallation of Windows.
(2)    There is no need to use ATM to install any fonts under Windows.
(3)    The file name ._DIN-bold is indicative of a MacOS font. These fonts cannot be installed on Windows systems.

If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance.

since you didn’t receive its original grey installation DVDs when you purchased it, you’ll need to contact Apple directly to purchase a replacement pair. (The grey installation discs aren’t available in the Apple stores.) Some Mid 2009 models originally came with 10.5.7 (Leopard), and some originally came with 10.6.0 or 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard). If yours had 10.5.7 installed, then you’ll probably receive a 10.5.7 set of grey discs from Apple. If you’d like to upgrade its OS to anything newer, then you’d also need to purchase the white retail Snow Leopard DVD — but you should wait to see what Apple sends you, since if they send you a 10.6.0 or 10.6.2 set, you wouldn’t need to purchase the white Snow Leopard disc.

You could try copying the iTunes library files, putting them on a external hard drive and the setting iTunes to look there for the library on the new computer.

Less quick answer. There is NO need to uninstall your current version of Logic. Installing the new version will install extra files and keep the existing samples, loops, etc - because Logic 8 and 9 use pretty much the same libraries and loops.
